தேசிய கைத்தறி தினம் - National Handloom Day :
✒️National Handloom Day is celebrated in India on 7th August to commemorate handloom weavers. Almost 95 percent of the world's handloom garments are manufactured in India.
- தேசிய கைத்தறி தினம் கைத்தறி நெசவாளர்களை நினைவுகூறும் வகையில் ஆகஸ்ட் 7ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. உலகெங்கும் உள்ள ஆடைகளில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 95 சதவீதம் கைத்தறி ஆடைகள் இந்தியாவில் தயாரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
சகோதரிகள் தினம் - Sisters Day :
✒️Sisters are best friends who support you in your time of need as much as they fight with you. They can undoubtedly bring down the whole world when you need them. National Sisters Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year to celebrate the special bond between sisters. This year Friendship Day also falls on Sunday in India so both are celebrated together.
- சகோதரிகளுக்கிடையேயான சிறப்புப் பிணைப்பைப் போற்றும் வகையில், ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் முதல் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை தேசிய சகோதரி தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. சகோதரிகள், சிறந்த நண்பர்கள், அவர்கள் உங்களுடன் சண்டையிடும் அளவுக்கு உங்கள் தேவையின் போது உங்களுக்கு ஆதரவளிப்பார்கள். அவர்களால் சந்தேகத்திற்கு இடமின்றி முழு உலகையும் உங்களுக்குத் தேவைப்படும்போது வீழ்த்த முடியும். இந்த வருடம் நண்பர்கள் தினம் இந்தியாவில் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை வருவதால் இரண்டுமே சேர்த்துக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

எம்.எஸ்.சுவாமிநாதன் - Mankombu Sambasivan Swaminathan - Indian Agronomist - Agricultural Scientist - Plant Geneticist - Administrator - Humanitarian - Father of Green Revolution in India :
✒️பசுமைப் புரட்சியின் தந்தை எம்.எஸ்.சுவாமிநாதன் 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ஆம் தேதி கும்பகோணத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் முழுப்பெயர் மான்கொம்பு சாம்பசிவன் சுவாமிநாதன்.
- இவருடைய பெற்றோருக்கு இவர் மருத்துவராக வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை. ஆனால், வங்கத்தில் 1942ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏற்பட்ட பஞ்சத்தால் இவர் வேளாண் துறையில் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்ய முடிவெடுத்தார்.
- 1960ஆண்டுகளில் உணவுப் பஞ்சம் ஏற்பட்டபோது 'இந்தியர்களால் உணவு உற்பத்தி செய்ய முடியாது. பசியால் கொத்துக் கொத்தாக உயிரிழப்பார்கள்" என்று பல நாடுகள் கூறினர்.
- இதை பொறுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியாத இவர், ஜப்பானில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய ரக கோதுமையை இந்தியாவில் அறிமுகம் செய்து, 200 சதவீத லாபத்தை சாதித்துக் காட்டினார். இதை 'கோதுமைப் புரட்சி" என்று பாராட்டினார் பிரதமர் இந்திரா காந்தி.
- ராமன் மகசேசே விருது(1971), உலக உணவு பரிசு(1987), யுனெஸ்கோ மகாத்மா காந்தி விருது (2000), இந்திரா காந்தி தேசிய ஒருமைபாட்டுக்கான விருது(2013), பத்மஸ்ரீ(1967), பத்ம பூஷண்(1972), பத்ம விபூஷண்(1989) உள்ளிட்ட 40-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளார்.
இரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர் - Rabindranath Tagore - Poet - Composer of Indian National Anthem - Writer - Philosopher - Social Reformer - Nobel Laureate :
✒️Today is Rabindranath Tagore's Memorial Day, who composed the Indian national anthem was born on 7th May 1861 in Calcutta. He published his first poem at the age of 16 under the pen name "Bhanushingho". He has written more than 2000 songs. Among them, one song is being sung as the national anthem of India and another as the national anthem of Bangladesh. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 for his poetry collection "Gitanjali". An icon of Indian culture and known as "Gurudev", was died on 7th August 1941. ✒️இவரின் நினைவு தினம் இன்று!
✒️இந்திய தேசிய கீதத்தை இயற்றிய இரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர் 1861ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 7ஆம் தேதி கல்கத்தாவில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் 16வது வயதில் பானுசிங்கோ என்ற புனைப்பெயரில் முதல் கவிதையை வெளியிட்டார். 2000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பாடல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். அவற்றில் ஒரு பாடல் இந்திய தேசிய கீதமாகவும், மற்றொரு பாடல் வங்கதேசத்தின் தேசிய கீதமாகவும் பாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
- இவரின் கீதாஞ்சலி கவிதைத் தொகுப்புக்காக இவருக்கு 1913ஆம் ஆண்டு இலக்கியத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. குருதேவ் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட இவர் 1941ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟The Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 : It was enacted on 7th August 1992 & as per Sec 1(2) Sections 11 to 14 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on 19th June, 1992, to provide for the development and regulation of foreign trade by facilitating imports into, and augmenting exports from, India and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟 2018ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ஆம் தேதி தமிழக முன்னாள் முதல்வர் கலைஞர் மு.கருணாநிதி மறைந்தார் - Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi passed away on 7th August, 2018.
🌟 வைக்கிங் 2 விண்கலம் 1976 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7 ஆம் தேதி செவ்வாயின் சுற்று வட்டத்தினுள் சென்றது - Viking 2 enters orbit around Mars on 7th August 1976.
🌟 1974ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாட்டின் வேர்ட்ஸ்வொர்த் வாணிதாசன் மறைந்தார் - Tamilnadu's Wordsworth Vanidasan passed away on 7th August,1974.

🌟 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ஆம் தேதி திட்டமிட்டபடி முதல் கணிப்பானை (ஹார்வார்ட் மார்க்) ஐபிஎம் நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்டது - IBM released the first calculator (Harvard Mark) on 7th August 1944.
