Sundara Ramaswamy - Novelist

சுந்தர ராமசாமி - Sundara Ramaswamy  - Renowned Novelist:

✒️Sundara Ramasamy, the greatest writer of modern Tamil literature, was born on 30 May 1931 in a village called Mahadevar Kovil near Nagercoil. His early stories were published in the magazine Shanti. He  translated Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's Malayalam novel Thotiyin Magan into Tamil. Later he also translated his novel Semmeen. He wrote poems under the pseudonym Pasuvayya. In 1988, he started a quarterly magazine called Kalachuvadu. It is now published as a monthly magazine. He has received many awards including Kumaran Asan Memorial Award, Iyal Award, Katha Chudamani Award. Novelist, short story writer, poet, critic Sundara Ramasamy passed away on October 15, 2005.

✒️ நவீன தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தின் தலைசிறந்த எழுத்தாளர் சுந்தர ராமசாமி 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 30ஆம் தேதி நாகர்கோவில் அருகே உள்ள மகாதேவர் கோவில் என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது ஆரம்பக்கால கதைகள் சாந்தி என்ற இதழில் வெளிவந்தன. தகழி சிவசங்கரப் பிள்ளையின் தோட்டியின் மகன் என்ற மலையாள நாவலை தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்த்தார். பிறகு அவருடைய செம்மீன் நாவலையும் மொழிபெயர்த்தார். இவர் பசுவய்யா (Pasuvayya) என்ற புனைப்பெயரில் கவிதைகள் எழுதினார். 1988-ல் காலச்சுவடு என்ற காலாண்டு இதழைத் தொடங்கினார். தற்போது இது மாத இதழாக வெளிவருகிறது. குமரன் ஆசான் நினைவு விருது, இயல் விருது, கதா சூடாமணி விருது உள்ளிட்ட பல விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். நாவலாசிரியர், சிறுகதை எழுத்தாளர், கவிஞர், விமர்சகர் என பன்முகப் பரிமாணம் கொண்ட சுந்தர ராமசாமி 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 15ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

அலெக்ஸி லியோனோவ் - Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov - Renowned Cosmonaut:

✒️Alexei Leonov, the world's first man in space, was born on May 30, 1934 in Listvyanka (Soviet Union). He was one of 20 pilots from the Russian Air Force selected as cosmonauts in 1960. He and the pilot Pavel Belyayev traveled in the Voskhod 2 spacecraft. On March 18, 1965, Alexei walked in space for 12 minutes and 9 seconds. It is one of the greatest achievements of human history. He has won numerous awards and titles, including the Hero of the Soviet Union twice and the Lenin Award. He passed away on October 11, 2019.

✒️உலகிலேயே விண்வெளியில் நடந்த முதல் மனிதரான அலெக்ஸி லியோனோவ் 1934ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 30ஆம் தேதி லிஸ்த்வியன்கா (சோவியத் ஒன்றியம்) என்ற ஊரில் பிறந்தார். 1960-ல் விண்வெளி வீரர்களாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட ரஷ்ய விமானப் படையைச் சேர்ந்த 20 பைலட்டுகளில் இவரும் ஒருவர். இவரும், பவெல் பெல்யயேவ் (Pavel Belyayev) என்ற பைலட்டும் வோஸ்கோட் 2 (Voskhod 2) என்ற விண்கலத்தில் பயணம் செய்தனர். 1965, மார்ச் 18-ம் தேதி அலெக்ஸி விண்வெளியில் 12 நிமிடங்கள் 9 நொடிகள் நடந்தார். இது மனித வரலாற்றின் மகத்தான சாதனைகளில் ஒன்றாகும். சோவியத் நாட்டின் ஹீரோ விருதை இரண்டு முறையும், லெனின் விருது உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான விருதுகளையும், பட்டங்களையும் வென்றுள்ளார். இவர் 2019ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 11ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1912ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 30ஆம் தேதி விமானத்தை கண்டுபிடித்த ரைட் சகோதரர்களுள் ஒருவரான வில்பர் ரைட் மறைந்தார் - Wilbur Wright, one of the Wright brothers who invented the airplane, died on May 30, 1912.

🌟 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 30ஆம் தேதி கோவா இந்தியாவின் 25வது மாநிலமாகியது - On 30 May 1987, Goa became the 25th state of India. 

🌟 1971ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 30ஆம் தேதி, செவ்வாய்க்கோளின் 70 சதவீத பரப்பளவை கண்டறியவும் மற்றும் அதன் வளிமண்டலத்தை ஆராயவும் மரைனர் 9 விண்கலம் ஏவப்பட்டது - On May 30, 1971, Mariner 9 was launched to explore 70 percent of the surface of Mars and study its atmosphere.
