உலக தாய்ப்பால் தினம் - World Breastfeeding Day (Week) :
✒️World Breastfeeding Day is being celebrated all over the world today. Breastfeeding is a wonderful gift of nature to babies. World Breastfeeding Day is observed on August 1 to emphasize breastfeeding, to realize the greatness of breast milk, and to create awareness among the people of the world to breastfeed their babies.
- உலகம் முழுவதும் இன்று உலக தாய்ப்பால் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தாய்ப்பால் என்பது குழந்தைகளுக்கு இயற்கை கொடுத்த அற்புதமான வரம். குழந்தைகளுக்கு தாய்ப்பால் கொடுப்பதை வலியுறுத்தும் வகையிலும், தாய்ப்பாலின் மகத்துவத்தை உணர்த்தும் வகையிலும், உலக மக்கள் தங்களது குழந்தைகளுக்கு தாய்ப்பால் கொடுப்பதற்கான விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையிலும், உலக தாய்ப்பால் தினம் ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி முதல் 7ந் தேதி வரை கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
உலக சாரணர் தினம் - World Scout Scarf Day :
✒️World Scout Scarf Day is celebrated on 1st August every year. World Scout Scarf Day is observed around the world as a day to commemorate Scouts worldwide and the ideals and objectives of Scouting. On July 28, 1907, Baden Powell, known as the father of Scouting, started Scouting with 20 young men. Generally in some countries the last week of July and the first week of August are important days as far as Scouting is concerned.
- ஆண்டுதோறும் ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி உலக சாரணர் தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. உலகளாவிய ரீதியிலான சாரணர்களும், சாரணியத்தின் இலட்சியங்களையும், நோக்கங்களையும் நினைவுகூறும் தினமாக உலக சாரணர் தினம் உலகெங்கும் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- 1907ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 28ஆம் தேதி சாரண இயக்கத்தின் தந்தை என அழைக்கப்படும் பேடன் பவல் என்பவரால் 20 இளைஞர்களுடன் சாரணர் இயக்கம் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
- பொதுவாக சில நாடுகளில் ஜுலை மாத இறுதி வாரமும், ஆகஸ்ட் முதலாம் வாரமும் சாரணியத்தைப் பொருத்தவரையில் முக்கியமான நாட்களாகும்.
தேசிய காகித தினம் - National Paper Day :
✒️National Paper Day is celebrated on August 1st in India. On this day, the All India Paper Trades Association (FPTA) declared this day as National Paper Day to commemorate the inauguration of the Handmade Paper Mill Company in Pune by Jawaharlal Nehru on August 1, 1940.
- இந்தியாவில் தேசிய காகித தினம் ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இந்த நாள், புனேவில் கைவினை காகித ஆலை நிறுவனத்தை ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு ஆகஸ்ட் 1, 1940 அன்று திறந்து வைத்ததை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில், அகில இந்திய காகித வர்த்தக சங்கம் (FPTA) இந்த நாளை தேசிய காகித தினமாக அறிவித்தது.

டைகர் வரதாச்சாரியார் - Tiger Varadachari - Carnatic Musical Artist :
✒️Carnatic singer Tiger Varadachari was born on 1st August, 1876 in Kolathur, Chennai district. He studied music formally at the age of 14 with his brothers. They were known as Kaladipet brothers. The Maharaja of Mysore, who heard the pallavi he sang at the Mysore Navratri festival, gave him the title of Tiger and appointed him as the palace singer. He was awarded Sangita Kalanidhi Award in 1932. He who made Carnatic music proud died on January 31, 1950 at the age of 73.
- கர்நாடக இசைப்பாடகர் டைகர் வரதாச்சாரியார் 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி சென்னை மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள கொளத்தூரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் தன்னுடைய 14வது வயதில் சகோதரர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து முறைப்படி இசை பயின்றார். இவர்கள் காலாடிப்பேட்டை சகோதரர்கள் என அழைக்கப்பட்டனர்.
- மைசூர் நவராத்திரி விழாவில் பாடியபோது இவர் பாடிய பல்லவியை கேட்ட மைசூர் மகாராஜா டைகர் என்ற பட்டத்தை சூட்டி, இவரை அரண்மனை ஆஸ்தான பாடகராக அமர்த்தினார்.
- இவருக்கு 1932ஆம் ஆண்டு சங்கீத கலாநிதி விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. கர்நாடக இசைக்கு பெருமை சேர்த்த இவர் 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 31ந் தேதி தனது 73வது வயதில் மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1920ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரர் பால கங்காதர திலகர் மறைந்தார் - Indian freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak passed away on August 1, 1920.
🌟 2008ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி இந்திய அரசியல் தலைவர் ஹர்கிஷன் சிங் சுர்ஜித் மறைந்தார் - Indian political leader Harkishan Singh Surjeet passed away on August 1, 2008.
🌟 கிறிஸ்டோபர் கொலம்பஸ் 1498 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1 அன்று வெனிசுவேலாவை அடைந்த முதலாவது ஐரோப்பியர் ஆனார் - Christopher Columbus becomes the first European to visit Venezuela on August 1, 1498.
🌟 ஆக்சிஜன் தனிமம் 1774 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1 அன்று கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது. The Oxygen element was found on August 1, 1774.
🌟முதலாவது ஜீப் வண்டி 1941 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1 அன்று உருவாக்கப்பட்டது - The first jeep was created on August 1, 1941.
