இரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர் - Rabindranath Tagore (Polymath who worked as a Poet - Writer -  Playwright - Composer -  Philosopher - Social Reformer - Painter) :

✒️Rabindranath Tagore, the composer of "India's National Anthem", was born on May 7, 1861 in Calcutta. He published his first poem at the age of 16 under the pen name "Bhanushingho". He has written more than 2000 songs. Among them, one song is being sung as the national anthem of India and another as the national anthem of Bangladesh. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 for his poetry collection "Gitanjali". The British government gave him the title of "Sir" in 1915, but he returned the "Sir" title in 1919 as heartbroken after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. An icon of Indian culture and known as "Gurudev", was died on 7th August 1941.

✒️இந்திய தேசிய கீதத்தை இயற்றிய இரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர் 1861ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 7ஆம் தேதி கல்கத்தாவில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 16வது வயதில் பானுசிங்கோ என்ற புனைப்பெயரில் முதல் கவிதையை வெளியிட்டார். 2000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பாடல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். அவற்றில் ஒரு பாடல் இந்திய தேசிய கீதமாகவும், மற்றொரு பாடல் வங்கதேசத்தின் தேசிய கீதமாகவும் பாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இவருடைய கீதாஞ்சலி என்ற கவிதைத் தொகுப்புக்காக இவருக்கு 1913ஆம் ஆண்டு இலக்கியத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. ஆங்கிலேய அரசு 1915ஆம் ஆண்டு இவருக்கு சர் பட்டம் வழங்கியது. 1919ஆம் ஆண்டு அமிர்தசரஸில் நடைபெற்ற ஜாலியன்வாலாபாக் படுகொலையால் மனம் உடைந்து சர் பட்டத்தை திருப்பி கொடுத்துவிட்டார். இந்திய கலாச்சாரத்தின் அடையாளம் மற்றும் குருதேவ் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட இவர் 1941ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 7ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 7ஆம் தேதி ரஷ்ய அறிவியலாளர் அலெக்சாண்டர் பப்போவ் உலகின் முதலாவது வானொலிக் கருவியை சென் பீட்டர்ஸ்பேர்க்கில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். இந்நாள் ரஷ்யாவில் வானொலி தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது - On May 7, 1895, the Russian scientist Alexander Papov introduced the world's first radio set in St. Petersburg. This day is celebrated as Radio Day in Russia.

🌟 1952ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 7ஆம் தேதி ஒருங்கிணைந்த மின்சுற்று தத்துவம் ஜெப்ரி டம்மர் என்பவரால் வெளியிடப்பட்டது - The Concept of Integrated Circuit was published by Geoffrey Dummer on May 7, 1952.
