தேசிய வண்ணப் புத்தகங்கள் தினம் - National Coloring Book Day :
✒️Coloring is one of the most popular activities among children. But adults are not much interested in this. Many psychologists claim that coloring is the best antidote to stress. So now it is becoming very popular. This festival is celebrated on 2nd August every year with the intention that everyone should follow it.
- வண்ணம் தீட்டுவது சிறுவர்களுக்கிடையே இருக்கும் மிகவும் பிரபலமான ஒன்று. ஆனால் இதில் பெரியவர்கள் அதிக ஆர்வம் காட்டுவதில்லை. பல உளவியல் மருத்துவர்கள் மன அழுத்தத்தை குறைக்க சிறந்த மருந்தாக வண்ணம் தீட்டுவதை கூறுகின்றனர். அதனால் தற்போது இது மிகவும் பிரபலமாகி வருகிறது. இதை அனைவரும் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கில் வருடந்தோறும் ஆகஸ்ட் 2ஆம் தேதி இத்தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

பிங்கலி வெங்கய்யா - Pingali Venkayya - Indian Freedom Fighter - Designer (who designed Indian National flag) :
✒️Pingali Venkayya, who designed the Indian national flag, was born on 2nd August 1876 in Andhra Pradesh. He was also known as 'Diamond and 'Cotton Venkayya' due to his achievements in diamond mining and cotton research. At the meeting of the Indian National Congress in Kakinada, he insisted on designing a flag for our country after watching the hoisting of the Union Jack flag by the British government at the Congress Conference in Calcutta in 1906. Gandhi entrusted the design of the flag to him. After researching the flags of many countries, Venkayya introduced the flag with red and green colors at the Vijayawada National Conference. Hansraj from Jalandhar suggested adding the Ashoka Chakra to the flag. Venkayya designed the tricolor national flag, suggesting that Gandhiji could add white to symbolize peace. This flag was unanimously hoisted at the All India Conference in 1931 at Karachi. Originally there was a charkha (spinning wheel) in the middle of the flag. Later Ashoka Chakra was added instead of Charkha. Pingali Venkayya, who devoted himself to the betterment of the country, died on July 4, 1963 at the age of 86.
- இந்திய தேசியக் கொடியை வடிவமைத்த பிங்கலி வெங்கய்யா 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 2ஆம் தேதி ஆந்திர மாநிலம் மசூலிப்பட்டினத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் வைரச் சுரங்கம் தோண்டுவதிலும், பருத்தி ஆராய்ச்சியிலும் சாதனை படைத்ததால் 'வைரம் வெங்கய்யா' மற்றும் 'பருத்தி வெங்கய்யா' என்றும் அழைக்கப்பட்டார். கல்கத்தாவில் 1906-ல் நடந்த காங்கிரஸ் மாநாட்டில் ஆங்கிலேய அரசின் யூனியன் ஜாக் கொடி ஏற்றதை பார்த்து நம் நாட்டிற்கும் கொடி வடிவமைப்பது குறித்து காக்கிநாடாவில் நடந்த இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் சந்திப்பின்போது, வலியுறுத்தினார். காந்தி, கொடியை வடிவமைக்கும் பொறுப்பை இவரிடமே ஒப்படைத்தார். பல நாடுகளின் கொடிகளை ஆராய்ச்சி செய்து விஜயவாடா தேசிய மாநாட்டின்போது சிவப்பு, பச்சை நிறங்கள் கொண்ட கொடியை வெங்கய்யா அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். கொடியில் அசோக சக்கரத்தை சேர்க்கலாம் என்று ஜலந்தரை சேர்ந்த ஹன்ஸ்ராஜ் என்பவர் ஆலோசனை கூறினார். அமைதியைக் குறிக்கும் வெண்மை நிறத்தை சேர்க்கலாம் என்று காந்திஜி கூற, மூவர்ணங்கள் கொண்ட தேசியக் கொடியை வெங்கய்யா வடிவமைத்தார். கராச்சியில் 1931-ல் நடந்த அகில இந்திய மாநாட்டில் இந்தக் கொடியை அனைவரும் ஒருமனதாக ஏற்றனர். முதலில் கொடியின் நடுவில் ராட்டை இருந்தது. பிறகு அதற்கு பதிலாக அசோக சக்கரம் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது. நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்துக்காக தன்னையே அர்ப்பணித்துக்கொண்ட பிங்கலி வெங்கய்யா 1963ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 4ந் தேதி தனது 86வது வயதில் மறைந்தார்.

✒️Today is Alexander Graham Bell's Memorial Day!
✒️Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, was born on March 3, 1847 in Scotland. He was named Alexander Graham Bell after his family friend Alexander Graham. He played the piano and transmitted the music over a certain distance through electricity. In the same way, he thought that speaking could also be transmitted, and accordingly started research. In 1876 he made the world's first telephone call to his assistant Watson. Later, in 1877, he started the Bell Telephone Company with Watson. He received patents for about 60 inventions. He who revolutionized information, died on 2nd August 1922 at the age of 75.

- தொலைபேசியை கண்டறிந்த அலெக்ஸாண்டர் கிரகாம் பெல் 1847ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 3ஆம் தேதி ஸ்காட்லாந்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது குடும்ப நண்பரான அலெக்ஸாண்டர் கிரகாம் என்பவரின் பெயரையும் இணைத்து அலெக்ஸாண்டர் கிரகாம் பெல் என்று இவருக்குப் பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டது. பியானோவில் ஒலி எழுப்பி மின்சாரம் மூலமாக அந்த இசையை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொலைவுக்கு அனுப்பினார். அதேபோல பேசுவதையும் அனுப்பலாமே என்று சிந்தித்து ஆராய்ச்சியில் இறங்கினார். 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு உலகிலேயே முதன்முதலாக தனது உதவியாளர் வாட்சனிடம் தொலைபேசியில் பேசினார். பிறகு 1877ஆம் ஆண்டு வாட்சனுடன் இணைந்து பெல் தொலைபேசி கம்பெனியை தொடங்கினார். ஏறக்குறைய 60 கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்கான காப்புரிமையை பெற்றார். தகவல் தொடர்பில் புரட்சியை ஏற்படுத்திய இவர் தனது 75வது வயதில் 1922ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 2ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
