Neil Armstrong-First Man Walked On Moon

நீல் ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங் - Neil Alden Armstrong - American Astronaut - Aeronautical Engineer (First Person To Set Foot On The Moon) :

✒️Neil Alden Armstrong, the first astronaut to set foot on the moon, was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, USA. At the age of 6, when he was traveling in an airplane with his father, and he got his desire to fly. He got his pilot's license at the age of 16. He joined the NASA space program in 1962. There he worked as a test pilot, command pilot and engineer. In 1969 he was included in the lunar landing program with Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin, went into space as the crew chief of the Apollo-11 spacecraft, it was during this journey that he set foot on the moon for the first time. He has received many awards and prizes such as honorary doctorates from numerous universities, Presidential Medal of Freedom, US Congressional Gold Medal, Space Medal of Honor, NASA Award for Excellence. His biographical book 'First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong' was published in 2005. Such a great astronaut lastly breathed on 2012 after a lifelong interest in astronomical research.

• இவர் 6 வயதில் தந்தையுடன் விமானத்தில் பயணிக்கும் போதே விமானம் ஓட்டும் ஆசை வந்துவிட்டது. தனது 16 வயதிலேயே விமான ஓட்டுநர் உரிமம் பெற்றார்.

• 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு நாசா விண்வெளி திட்டத்தில் இணைந்தார். அங்கு டெஸ்ட் பைலட், கமாண்ட் பைலட், பொறியாளர் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டார்.

• 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு மைக்கேல் காலின்ஸ், ஆல்ட்ரின் ஆகியோருடன் நிலாவில் இறங்கும் திட்டத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார். இந்த பயணத்தின்போது தான் இவர் முதன் முதலாக நிலவில் காலடி எடுத்து வைத்தார். அப்போலோ-11 விண்கலத்தின் குழுத் தலைவராக விண்வெளிக்குச் சென்றார்.

• ஏராளமான பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் கௌரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம், பிரசிடென்ட் மெடல் ஆஃப் ஃப்ரீடம், அமெரிக்க நாடாளுமன்ற தங்கப் பதக்கம், ஸ்பேஸ் கௌரவப் பதக்கம், சிறந்த பணிக்கான நாசா விருது போன்ற பல பரிசுகள், விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளார்.

• இவரது வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்று நூலான 'ஃபர்ஸ்ட் மேன் : த லைஃப் ஆஃப் நீல் ஏ.ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங்" 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்தது. வானியல் ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் வாழ்நாள் இறுதிவரை ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்த இவர் 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு  ஆகஸ்ட் 25ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟ஆகஸ்ட் 5, 1965 அன்று, பாகிஸ்தான் துருப்புக்கள் எல்லையைத் தாண்டி, உள்ளூர்வாசிகள் போல் இந்தியாவுக்குள் நுழைந்தன. இந்தியா-பாகிஸ்தான் போர் (இரண்டாம் காஷ்மீர் போர் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது) தொடங்கியது - On August 5, 1965, Pakistani troops crossed the border and entered India posing as locals. Indo-Pakistani war (known as Second Kashmir War) started.

🌟 1898ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 5ஆம் தேதி வயலின் இசைக்கலைஞர் கும்பகோணம் ராஜமாணிக்கம்  பிள்ளை தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டம் ஆலங்குடியில் பிறந்தார் - Violin musician, Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai was born on 5th August 1898.

🌟 விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரரும், பிரபல எழுத்தாளருமான துவாரக பிரசாத் மிஸ்ரா 1901 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 5 ஆம் தேதி பிறந்தார் - Dwarka Prasad Mishra, freedom fighter and famous writer was born on 5th August 1901.
