தேசிய ஒலிபரப்பு தினம் - National Broadcasting Day :
- இந்தியாவில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூலை 23 அன்று தேசிய ஒலிபரப்பு தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்நாள் நம் வாழ்வில் வானொலியின் தாக்கத்தை நினைவூட்டுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. தொலைக்காட்சியின் வருகை வரை, ரேடியோ முழு நாட்டிற்கும் பொழுதுபோக்கு மற்றும் தகவல்களின் முக்கிய ஆதாரமாக இருந்தது. சுதந்திர இந்தியாவை உருவாக்குவதில் இந்திய வானொலி ஒலிபரப்பு பெரும் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியது.

பால கங்காதர திலகர் - Bal Gangadhar Tilak - Independence Activist - Politician :
✒️Freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak was born on 23rd July 1856 in Maharashtra state. Dadabhai Navroji's book on 'drain of wealth' and Vishnu Shastri's speeches based on it made him think against the British government. He chanted freedom is my birthright and definitely I will reach it. Many people including Sri Aurobindo participated in the freedom struggle under his leadership. Joined the Indian National Congress in 1889. He was in jail from 1908 to 1914, who led many liberation struggles. He was the first to create awareness about freedom among the people and died in 1920.
- விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரர் பால கங்காதர திலகர் 1856ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23ஆம் தேதி மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இந்தியச் செல்வம் ஆங்கிலேயரால் கொள்ளையடிக்கப்படுவது குறித்த தாதாபாய் நவ்ரோஜியின் நூலும், அதை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு விஷ்ணு சாஸ்திரி ஆற்றிய உரைகளும் ஆங்கில அரசுக்கு எதிராக இவரைச் சிந்திக்கச் செய்தன. சுதந்திரம் எனது பிறப்புரிமை. அதை அடைந்தே தீருவேன் என்று முழங்கினார்.
- ஸ்ரீஅரவிந்தர் உட்பட ஏராளமானோர் இவரது தலைமையில் சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர். இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸில் 1889ஆம் ஆண்டு இணைந்தார். பல விடுதலை போராட்டங்களை முன்னின்று நடத்திய இவர் 1908ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து 1914ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை சிறையில் இருந்தார்.
- முதன் முதலில் மக்களிடையே சுதந்திரம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்திய இவர் 1920ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 1ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத் - Chandra Shekhar Azad - Freedom fighter :
✒️Indian freedom fighter Chandra shekhar Azad was born on July 23, 1906 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. His original name was Chandra shekhar Sitaram Tiwari. At the age of 15, he was arrested for participating in Gandhiji's non-cooperation movement and when he was handed over to the court, the judge asked him for his address and he replied that his father's name was "Azad" (freedom) and his address was "Jail". The angry judge ordered him to be jailed for 15 pounds. Asad chanted 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' with every blow. After such event he was known as 'Chandra shekhar Asad'. He shot himself (age 24) on 27 February 1931 to avoid capture when he was surrounded by the British police after he shot the police officer responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai. Even though he is gone, his traces remain. His gun is on display in the Allahabad Museum. The place where he died "Alfred" Park is called "Chandra shekhar Azad Park" after him.
- இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்ட புரட்சி வீரர் சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23ஆம் தேதி மத்திய பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் சந்திரசேகர சீதாராம் திவாரி ஆகும்.
- 15 வயதில் காந்தியடிகளின் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கத்தில் கலந்து கொண்டு கைது செய்யப்பட்டு, நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஒப்படைத்த போது, நீதிபதி இவரிடம் முகவரியை கேட்டதற்கு தந்தை பெயர் ஆசாத் (விடுதலை), முகவரி சிறை என்று பதில் கூறினார்.
- கோபம் அடைந்த நீதிபதி அவரை 15 பிரம்படி கொடுத்து சிறையில் அடைக்க சொன்னார். ஆசாத், ஒவ்வொரு அடி விழும்போதும் 'பாரத் மாதா கீ ஜெய்" என முழங்கினார். பிறகு இவர் 'சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத்" என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார்.
- லாலா லஜபதி ராயின் மரணத்திற்கு காரணமாக இருந்த போலீஸ் அதிகாரியை சுட்டதால், 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 27ந் தேதி இவரை ஆங்கிலேய காவல்துறையினர் சுற்றி வளைத்த போது பிடிபடக்கூடாது என்று தன்னைத்தானே (24 வயது) சுட்டுக்கொண்டார்.
- அவர் மறைந்து விட்டாலும் அவருடைய சுவடுகள் இன்னும் மறையாமால்தான் இருக்கின்றன. அவரின் துப்பாக்கி அலகாபாத் அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் பார்வைக்காக வைக்கபட்டுள்ளது. அவர் இறந்த இடமான “அல்ப்ரெட்” பூங்கா அவர் பெயரிலேயே “சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத் பூங்கா” என அழைக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

🌟ஹரியானாவில் குருஷேத்திரத்தில் 2006 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23 அன்று 60 அடி ஆழ் துளைக்குழியில் வீழ்ந்த சிறுவன் 50 மணி நேரத்தின் பின்னர் உயிருடன் மீட்கப்பட்டான் - The boy Kurukshetra in Haryana who fell into 60 feet deep in borewell rescued alive nearly after 50 hours of battle on July 23rd, 2006.
🌟 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23ஆம் தேதி ஆங்கிலேய ஆதிக்கத்திற்கு எதிராக போராடிய தமிழக தியாகி சுப்பிரமணிய சிவா மறைந்தார் - On July 23, 1925, Tamil Nadu martyr Subramaniya Siva, who fought against the British rule, passed away.
