உலக இளைஞர் திறன் தினம் - World Youth Skills Day :

✒️In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared 15 July as World Youth Skills Day to celebrate the importance of developing young people with the skills for employability, decent work and entrepreneurship.

• 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டில், ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பொதுச் சபை ஜூலை 15 ஆம் தேதியை உலக இளைஞர் திறன் தினமாக அறிவித்தது, இளைஞர்களை வேலைவாய்ப்பு, ஒழுக்கமான வேலை மற்றும் தொழில்முனைவு ஆகியவற்றிற்கான திறன்களைக் கொண்டவர்களாய் உருவாக்குவதின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு இந்நாள் கொண்டாடுகிறது.

Kamarajar - Kingmaker

காமராஜர் - Kumaraswami Kamaraj (Kamarajar) -  Man of Simplicity and Integrity - Indian Independence Activist - Politician - Former Chief Minister of Madras State (from 13 April 1954 to 2 October 1963) - Former Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (during 1952-54 & 1969-75) :

✒️Kamarajar, an embodiment of charity, purity, simplicity, sacrifice and patriotism, was born on 15th July 1903 in Virudhunagar. He was the secretary of Congress Party in 1936, he was appointed as the President of Madras Provincial Congress from 1946-52. During his rule he introduced the free mid-day meal scheme (school meal programme) and also bringing free education. Although he did not live for many centuries but who is still in the minds of the people of this century, passed away in 1975. He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1976.

• தமிழ்நாட்டின் முன்னால் முதல்வர், கல்விக்கண் திறந்த காமராஜரின், பிறந்த தினமான இன்று, கல்வி வளர்ச்சி தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

• தொண்டு, தூய்மை, எளிமை, தியாகம், நாட்டுப்பற்று ஆகிய பண்புநலன்களின் வடிவமாக திகழ்ந்த காமராஜர் 1903ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 15ஆம் தேதி, விருதுநகரில் பிறந்தார்.

• 1936ஆம் ஆண்டு காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் செயலாளர், 1946-52ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை சென்னை மாகாண காங்கிரஸ் தலைவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.

• இவர் தென்னாட்டு காந்தி, படிக்காத மேதை, அரசரை உருவாக்குபவர், பெருந்தலைவர், கர்மவீரர் என்றெல்லாம் புகழப்பட்டவர். இவர் 'கருப்பு காந்தி" என்றும் அன்போடு அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.

• இவரது ஆட்சியின் போது இலவச மதிய உணவு திட்டத்தை கொண்டு வந்தார். இவரை எம்.ஜி.ஆர் என் வழிகாட்டி என்று பாராட்டியுள்ளார்.

• பல நூற்றாண்டுகள் வாழாவிட்டாலும் இந்த நூற்றாண்டு மக்கள் மனதிலும் நிலையாக இருக்கும் கர்மவீரர் காமராஜர், 1975ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 2ந் தேதி மறைந்தார். மறைவுக்குபின் 1976ஆம் ஆண்டு இவருக்கு பாரத ரத்னா விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது.

மறைமலை அடிகள் - Maraimalai Adigal - Tamil Orator - Writer :

✒️A Tamil scholar who started the "Tanittamil Iyakkam" (Independent Tamil Movement) and worked hard for the development of Tamil was born on 15th July 1876 in Nagapattinam. He changed his name from Vedhachalam to Maraimalai due to his Tamil affiliation. He was interested in literature since childhood. He also started Saiva Siddhanta Maha Samajam in 1905. He abdicated in 1911. Admired as the father of "Tanittamil Iyakkam" which opposed the occult practices, Maraimalai Adigal passed away on 15th September 1950.

• தனித்தமிழ் இயக்கம் ஆரம்பித்து, தமிழ் வளர்ச்சிக்காக அரும்பாடுபட்ட தமிழ் அறிஞர் மறைமலை அடிகள் 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 15ஆம் தேதி நாகப்பட்டினத்தில் பிறந்தார். 

• தமிழ் பற்றால், வேதாச்சலம் என்ற தனது பெயரை மறைமலை என்று மாற்றிக்கொண்டார். இவர் சிறுவயதில் இருந்தே இலக்கியத்தின் மீது ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

• மேலும் இவர் 1905ஆம் ஆண்டு சைவ சித்தாந்த மகா சமாஜத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார். 1911ஆம் ஆண்டு துறவு மேற்கொண்டார்.

• மூடத்தனமான செயல்களை எதிர்த்த தனித்தமிழ் இயக்கத்தின் தந்தை எனப் போற்றப்பட்ட மறைமலை அடிகள் 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 15ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟2006ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 15ஆம் தேதி டுவிட்டர் சமூக வலைத்தளம் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது - Twitter was launched on July 15, 2006.

🌟மொசில்லா நிறுவனம் 2003 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை மாதம் 15ஆம் தேதி ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது - Mozilla was founded on 15th July 2003.

🌟அணுவாயுதங்களுக்கு எதிராக 18 நோபல் விருதாளர்கள் (மைனாவ் பிரகடனம்) உடன்படிக்கையில் 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 15ஆம் தேதி கையெழுத்திட்டனர் - 18 Nobel Laureates signed the Treaty Against Nuclear Weapons (Mainau Declaration) on 15 July 1955.
