சர்வதேச புலிகள் தினம் - International Tiger Day :

✒️International Tiger Day is observed every year on July 29 to protect the endangered species of tigers. The largest number of tigers in the world live in the Sundarban forests on the Indian-Bangladesh border. Tiger numbers are declining due to human poaching, forest fires and wild floods. Therefore, this event is observed to create awareness among people about the need to protect tigers.

• அழிந்து வரும் புலி இனத்தை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் சர்வதேச புலிகள் தினம் ஜூலை 29ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. உலகிலேயே இந்திய வங்கதேச எல்லையில் உள்ள சுந்தரவனக் காடுகளில் தான், புலிகள் அதிகளவில் வாழ்கின்றன.

• மனிதர்கள் புலிகளை வேட்டையாடுவதாலும், மேலும் காடுகளில் ஏற்படும் தீ விபத்து, காட்டாற்று வெள்ளம் காரணமாகவும் புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்து வருகிறது. எனவே புலிகளை பாதுகாக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை மக்களிடையே ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காகவே இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

பி.சா.சுப்பிரமணிய சாஸ்திரி - P.S.Subrahmanya Sastri - Translator :

✒️P.S.Subrahmanya Sastri, the pioneer of Tamil translation, was born on 29 July 1890 at Balakrishnan Patti in Trichy district. He holds many titles like, Mahamahopadhyaya, Vidya Ratna, Vidya Nidhi, Vidyabhushana. In 1930, he received his first doctorate in Tamil Studies for his study of History of Grammatical Theories in Tamil and their relation to grammatical literature in Sanskrit. He also wrote three types of grammar namely descriptive grammar, historical grammar and comparative grammar. He dedicated his entire life to Tamil language research and died on May 20, 1978 at the age of 87.

• தமிழ் மொழிபெயர்ப்பு முன்னோடியான பி.சா.சுப்பிரமணிய சாஸ்திரி 1890ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29ஆம் தேதி திருச்சி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள பாலகிருஷ்ணன்பட்டியில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் சாகித்ய அகாடமியின் மகாமகிமோ பாத்தியாய என்ற பட்டம், வித்தியாரத்தினம், வித்யாநிதி, வித்யாபூஷணம் போன்ற ஏராளமான பட்டங்களை பெற்றுள்ளார்.

• தமிழ் இலக்கணக் கோட்பாடுகளின் வரலாறும் சமஸ்கிருத இலக்கியத்தோடு அவற்றுக்கான தொடர்பும் என்ற ஆய்வுக்காக, (History of Grammatical Theories in Tamil and their relation to grammatical literature in Sanskrit) 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழாய்வில் முதல் முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்றார்.

• விளக்கமுறை இலக்கணம், வரலாற்று இலக்கணம், ஒப்பீட்டு இலக்கணம் என மூவகை இலக்கணத்தையும் எழுதியவர். வாழ்நாள் முழுவதையும் தமிழ்மொழி ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக அர்ப்பணித்த இவர் 1978ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 20ந் தேதி தனது 87வது வயதில் மறைந்தார்.

முசோலினி - Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini - Italian Politician - Journalist : 

✒️Italy's dictator Benito Mussolini was born on July 29, 1883. In World War II in 1939, Hitler and Mussolini stood together against the Allies. He was second only to Hitler among dictators who terrorized the world. Italy's dreaded dictator Mussolini was assassinated by revolutionaries on April 28, 1945 at the age of 61.

• உலகை உலுக்கிய சர்வாதிகாரிகள் பட்டியலில் இருக்கும் இத்தாலியின் சர்வாதிகாரியான பெனிட்டோ முசோலினி 1883ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29ஆம் தேதி பிறந்தார்.

• 1939ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற இரண்டாம் உலகப் போரில் ஹிட்லரும், முசோலினியும் ஒரே அணியில் நின்று நேச நாடுகளை எதிர்த்தனர். உலகைப் பயமுறுத்திய சர்வாதிகாரிகளில், ஹிட்லருக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக இருந்தவர் இவர்தான். 

• இத்தாலியின் பயங்கரமான சர்வாதிகாரியாக விளங்கிய முசோலினி 1945ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 28ந் தேதி தனது 61வது வயதில் புரட்சிக்காரர்களால் கொல்லப்பட்டார்.

🌟பேடன் பவல் இங்கிலாந்தில் 1907 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29 அன்று சாரணர் இயக்க முகாம் ஒன்றைத் திறந்து வைத்தார். இதுவே சாரணர் இயக்கத்தை ஆரம்பிக்க முதற்படியாக இருந்தது - Baden Powell started a Scout camp in England on July 29, 1907. This was the beginning of the Scout movement.

🌟 1904ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவின் முதன்மையான தொழிலதிபர் ஜஹாங்கீர் ரத்தன்ஜி தாதாபாய் டாடா பிறந்தார் - Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, India's foremost industrialist, was born on 29 July 1904.

🌟 15 யுனோமியா என்ற சிறுகோள் 1851 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29 அன்று கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது - 15 Eunomia asteroid was discovered on July 29, 1851.

🌟 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 29ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி மையமான நாசா ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது - On 29 July 1958, the American space agency NASA was launched.
