Aruna Asaf Ali - Indian Freedom Fighter

அருணா ஆசஃப் அலி - Aruna Asaf Ali - Freedom Fighter - Educator - Political Activist - Publisher :

✒️Indian freedom fighter Aruna Asaf Ali was born on 16 July 1909 in Kalka, Haryana. She joined the Indian National Congress from a young age with a desire for freedom and courage. She participated in many protests like "Salt  March," "Quit India Movement" and went to jail. She was appointed as the first Mayor of Delhi in 1958. She brought many reforms in the city administration. She was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award in 1991. Aruna Asaf Ali died in 1996 who fought for the country and for the advancement of women. She was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1997.

• இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீராங்கனை அருணா ஆசஃப் அலி 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 16ஆம் தேதி ஹரியானா மாநிலம் கால்கா நகரில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் சிறு வயதில் இருந்தே சுதந்திர வேட்கையும், துணிவும் கொண்டு இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸில் இணைந்தார். உப்பு சத்தியாகிரகம், வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு போன்ற பல போராட்டங்களில் பங்கேற்று சிறை சென்றார்.

• 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு டெல்லியின் முதல் மேயராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். மாநகர நிர்வாகத்தில் பல சீர்திருத்தங்களைக் கொண்டு வந்தார். அமைதிக்கான லெனின் பரிசும், 1991ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு விருதும் இவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• நாட்டுக்காகவும், பெண்களின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்காகவும் பாடுபட்ட அருணா ஆசஃப் அலி 1996ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 29ந் தேதி மறைந்தார். இவரது மறைவிற்கு பின் 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு பாரத ரத்னா விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது.

ஃபிரிட்ஸ் ஜெர்னிகி - Frits Zernike - Dutch Physicist - Nobel Prize Laureate :

✒️Frits Zernike, the inventor of the phase-contrast microscope, was born on July 16, 1888 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He was very interested in the study of glass, vitreous stones, errors in telescope glasses, optical performance. Through his research, he developed photographic cameras and small astronomical observation instruments. Together with his students, he solved the problem of aberrations of lens patterns. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1953. Frits Zernike died on March 10, 1966, who was engaged in various researches till the end.

• ஃபேஸ் கான்ட்ரஸ்ட் மைக்ரோஸ்கோப்பை (Phase-contrast microscope) கண்டுபிடித்த ஃபிரிட்ஸ் ஜெர்னிகி 1888ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 16ஆம் தேதி நெதர்லாந்தின் ஆம்ஸ்டர்டாம் நகரில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் கண்ணாடி, கண்ணாடி கற்கள், டெலஸ்கோப் கண்ணாடிகளின் பிழைகள், பார்வைத் திறன் குறித்த ஆய்வில் மிகவும் ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

• இவர் தனது ஆராய்ச்சிகள் மூலம் புகைப்பட கேமரா, சிறிய வானியல் கண்காணிப்பு கருவி உள்ளிட்டவற்றை உருவாக்கினார். தன் மாணவர்களுடன் இணைந்து, லென்ஸ் முறைகளின் பிறழ்ச்சிகளால் ஏற்படும் பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வு கண்டார்.

• இவர் 1953ஆம் ஆண்டு இயற்பியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றார். இறுதிவரை பல்வேறு ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் ஈடுபட்ட ஃபிரிட்ஸ் ஜெர்னிகி 1966ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 10ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟உலகின் முதல் அணு வெடிப்பு ஜூலை 16, 1945 அன்று நியூ மெக்ஸிகோவின் அலமோகோர்டோ சமவெளியில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒரு தளத்தில் புளூட்டோனியம் வெடிப்பு சோதனை செய்யப்பட்டபோது நிகழ்ந்தது - The world's first nuclear explosion occurred on 16th July, 1945, when a plutonium explosion device was tested at a site located on the Plains of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

🌟 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 16ஆம் தேதி இந்திய ஹாக்கி வீரர் தன்ராஜ் பிள்ளை புனேவில் பிறந்தார் - Indian hockey player Dhanraj Pillay was born on 16 July 1968 in Pune.

🌟 2004ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 16ஆம் தேதி மில்லினியம் பூங்கா சிகாகோவில் அமைக்கப்பட்டது - On July 16, 2004, Millennium Park was inaugurated in Chicago.

🌟 2004ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 16ஆம் தேதி கும்பகோணம் தீ விபத்து நினைவு தினம் - 16th July 2004 Kumbakonam Fire Commemoration Day.
