🚘 Car inventor, engine designer and automotive engineer Carl Friedrich Benz was born on 25th November 1844 in Muhlberg, Germany.

🚘 Benz & Cie was founded by him in 1883. Benz's motor wagon was introduced by him in 1885 and it was the first vehicle to run on fuel. In 1886 he has received a patent for this vehicle.

🚘 The two-passenger Victoria (1893) and the first freight vehicle (1895) were well-received, and in 1903 Benz became the world's leading automaker, selling 4,000 vehicles.
