சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினம் - Universal Children's Day :

✒️Universal Children's Day is celebrated on 20th November. UNICEF strives to prevent child diseases and protect children's welfare and rights. UN to protect children's welfare the council announced this in 1954.

• சர்வதேச குழந்தைகள் தினம் நவம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. குழந்தைகளுக்கு நோய்கள் வராமல் தடுக்கவும், குழந்தைகளின் நலன் மற்றும் உரிமைகளை பாதுகாக்கவும் யுனிசெஃப் முயன்று வருகிறது. குழந்தைகளின் நலனைப் பாதுகாக்க ஐ.நா. சபை 1954ஆம் ஆண்டில் இத்தினத்தை அறிவித்தது.

ஆப்பிரிக்க தொழில்மயமாக்கல் தினம் - Africa Industrialization Day :

✒️Africa Industrialization Day is celebrated every year on 20th November. Africa, a country rich in natural resources and has full of hard working workers. But famine and starvation are permanent due to lack of industrial development. There are huge challenges such as poverty, unemployment, violence and famine. So the UN has focused special attention on Africa. The focus was on declaring November 20 as African Industrialization Day.  Since then, the United Nations System has held events on that day throughout the world to raise awareness about the importance of Africa’s industrialization and the challenges faced by the continent. Africa Industrialization Day is observed globally and not a public holiday. Africa Industrialization Day is a symbol of geological portrayal of the mainland, including the island of Madagascar.

• ஆப்பிரிக்கா, இயற்கை வளம் நிறைந்த நாடு. கடுமையாக உழைக்கும் தொழிலாளர்கள் நிறைந்த நாடு. ஆனால் தொழில் வளர்ச்சி ஏற்படாததால் பஞ்சம், பசி, பட்டினி போன்றவை நிரந்தரமானதாக உள்ளது. வறுமை, வேலையில்லாத் திண்டாட்டம், வன்முறை, உணவுப் பஞ்சம் போன்ற மிகப்பெரிய சவால்கள் உள்ளன. ஆகவே ஆப்பிரிக்காவின்மீது ஐ.நா. தனிக்கவனம் செலுத்தி நவம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதியை ஆப்பிரிக்க தொழில்மயமாக்கல் தினமாக அறிவித்தது.

Tipu Sultan - Ruler of Mysore

திப்பு சுல்தான் - Tipu Sultan (Tiger of Mysore), Ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore, Pioneer of Rocket Artillery :

✒️Tipu Sultan, also known as the 'Tiger of Mysore', was born on 20 November 1750 (according to some studies on 1 December 1751) at Devanahalli in the Indian state of Karnataka. He developed into a skilled warrior at a young age and became a great ruler, administrator and social reformer. When the Englishman said that even the time of death should be subservient to them, he refused to do so and roared to his death, "Rather than live like a sheep, live and die like a tiger." Tipu Sultan, a brave warrior who fought against the British until his last breath, died on 4th May 1799.

• 'மைசூரின் புலி" என அழைக்கப்படும் திப்பு சுல்தான் 1750ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி (சிலர் ஆராய்வின் படி டிசம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி 1751ஆம் ஆண்டு பிறந்ததாக கூறப்படுகிறது) இந்தியாவின் கர்நாடக மாநிலத்திலுள்ள தேவனஹள்ளி என்ற இடத்தில் பிறந்தார். இளம் வயதிலேயே திறமைப்பெற்ற போர்வீரனாக வளர்ந்த இவர், சிறந்த ஆட்சியாளராகவும், நிர்வாகியாகவும் மற்றும் சமூக சீர்திருத்தவாதியாகவும் விளங்கினார்.

• உயிர் பிரியும் நேரம் கூட தங்களுக்கு அடங்கி நடக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆங்கிலேயர் கூறியபோது, முடியாது என மறுத்து, கர்ஜனையோடு 'ஆடுகளைப்போல் வாழ்வதை விட, புலியைப் போல் வாழ்ந்து மடியலாம்" என முழங்கியபடியே மரணம் அடைந்தார்.

• தன்னுடைய கடைசி மூச்சு நிற்கும் வரை ஆங்கிலேயர்களை எதிர்த்து உறுதியுடன் போராடிய மாவீரன் திப்பு சுல்தான் 1799ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 4ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
