உலக பால் தினம் - World Milk Day : This day has been observed every year since 2001 by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to recognize the importance of milk as a global food.

உலக பால் தினம் என்பது ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் உணவு மற்றும் வேளாண் அமைப்பினால் உலகளாவிய உணவாக இருக்கும் பாலின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காக 2001ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.

✒️Queen of Hollywood Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, USA. Her birth name was Norma Jeane Mortensen. "The Asphalt Jungle" and "Don't Bother to Knock" films released in 1950 & 1952 brought her fame. She has won numerous awards including the Golden Globe Award. She was versatile not only as an actress but also a singer. She passed away on 4th August 1962.

Helen Adams Keller was an American author, educator, activist and lecturer. Born in West Tuscumbia, Alabama, at the age of 19 months, she became blind and deaf after affecting a illness. She authored her Biography namely "The Story of My Life" (1903), and the following are her famous books namely "Optimism" (1903), "The World I Live In" (1908), "Light in My Darkness and My Religion" (1927), "Helen Keller’s Journal" (1938), and "The Open Door" (1957) were all milestone to the society of blind and deaf. Helen keller who proved to the world that disability is not a defect, was died on this day.

The Indian politician who was youngest-ever Indian president. He was elected as unopposed to the post of president and served as the sixth president of India (from 1977 to 1982).
