உலக பெற்றோர் தினம் - Global Day of Parents : Parents raise their children with a sense of sacrifice and dedication without regard to selfishness. The United Nations has declared June 1 as Parents' Day in honor of parents around the world as a mark of parental commitment.

• பெற்றோர்கள் தன்னலம் கருதாமல் தியாக உணர்வுடன், அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் தங்களது குழந்தைகளை வளர்க்கின்றனர். பெற்றோரின் அர்ப்பணிப்புக்கான ஒரு அடையாளமாக உலகில் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளிலும் உள்ள பெற்றோர்களை கௌரவிக்கும் விதமாக ஐ.நா.சபை ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதியை பெற்றோர்கள் தினமாக பிரகடனம் செய்தது.

உலக பால் தினம் - World Milk Day : This day has been observed every year since 2001 by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization to recognize the importance of milk as a global food.

• உலக பால் தினம் என்பது ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் உணவு மற்றும் வேளாண் அமைப்பினால் உலகளாவிய உணவாக இருக்கும் பாலின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காக 2001ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. 

• பால் உற்பத்தியை பெருக்குதல், பால் உற்பத்தி தொடர்பான அனைத்து திட்டங்களையும் செயல்படுத்துதல் தொடர்பாக அனைத்து நாடுகளுக்கும் ஊக்கம் அளிக்கும் விதமாக இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

மர்லின் மன்றோ - Marilyn Monroe - Multitalented American actress - Singer - Model :

✒️Queen of Hollywood Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, USA. Her birth name was Norma Jeane Mortensen. "The Asphalt Jungle" and "Don't Bother to Knock" films released in 1950 & 1952 brought her fame. She has won numerous awards including the Golden Globe Award. She was versatile not only as an actress but also a singer. She passed away on 4th August 1962.

• ஹாலிவுட்டின் ராணி மர்லின் மன்றோ 1926ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவின் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் நகரில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் இயற்பெயர் நோர்மா ஜெனி மார்டென்சன்.

• 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த "தி அஸ்பால்ட் ஜங்கிள்" (The Asphalt Jungle), "டு நாட் பாதர் டு நாக் படங்கள்" (Do not Bother to Knock) இவருக்கு புகழை தேடித் தந்தன. இவர் கோல்டன் குளோப் விருது உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான விருதுகளை வென்றுள்ளார்.

• ஒரு நடிகையாக மட்டுமின்றி பாடகி, மாடல் என பன்முகத்திறன் கொண்ட இவர் 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 4ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் உலகின் மிக சிறப்புமிக்க பெண்மணியான ஹெலன் கெல்லர் மறைந்தார் - Helen Keller, the most famous woman of the twentieth century, passed away on June 1, 1968. Helen Adams Keller was an American author, educator, activist and lecturer. Born in West Tuscumbia, Alabama, at the age of 19 months, she became blind and deaf after affecting a illness. She authored her Biography namely "The Story of My Life" (1903), and the following are her famous books namely "Optimism" (1903), "The World I Live In" (1908), "Light in My Darkness and My Religion" (1927), "Helen Keller’s Journal" (1938), and "The Open Door" (1957) were all milestone to the society of blind and deaf. Helen keller who proved to the world that disability is not a defect, was died on this day.

🌟 1996ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசு தலைவரான நீலம் சஞ்சீவ ரெட்டி மறைந்தார் - Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, former President of India, passed away on June 1, 1996. The Indian politician who was youngest-ever Indian president. He was elected as unopposed to the post of president and served as the sixth president of India (from 1977 to 1982).

🌟 1999ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி மிதவைகப்பலை கண்டுபிடித்த கிறிஸ்தோபர் கொக்கரல் மறைந்தார் - On June 1, 1999, Christopher Cockerell, The Engineer, who invented the Hovercraft was passed away.

🌟 1975ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1ஆம் தேதி பளுதூக்கும் வீராங்கனையும், ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகளில் பதக்கம் வென்ற முதல் இந்தியப் பெண்மணியுமான கர்ணம் மல்லேஸ்வரி பிறந்தார்  - Karnam Malleswari was born on June 1, 1975, a weightlifter and the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in Olympics 2000.
