உணவு பாதுகாப்பு தினம் - World Food Safety Day :

✒️The World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) celebrate the World Food Safety Day on 7th June every year to mark the importance of food safety.

• ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் உணவு மற்றும் விவசாய அமைப்பு (FAO) உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு (WHO) இணைந்து உணவு பாதுகாப்பின் அவசியத்தைக் குறிக்கும் வகையில் ஆண்டு தோறும் ஜூன் மாதம் 7ம் தேதி உணவு பாதுகாப்பு தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

மகேஷ் பூபதி - Mahesh Shrinivas Bhupathi - Indian Tennis Player - Recipient of Padma Shri (He has Ranked World Number - 1 in the Tennis Doubles Format During his Playing Career) :

✒️Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi was born on June 7, 1974 in Chennai. He has been playing tennis since 1995. He is one of the best doubles tennis players in the world. In mixed doubles, he won the 2009 Australian Open title with Sania Mirza and the 2012 French Open title. He was ranked number one in the world doubles category. In 2001, he was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India's highest awards.

✒️இந்திய டென்னிஸ் விளையாட்டு வீரர் மகேஷ் ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ் பூபதி (Mahesh Shrinivas Bhupathi) 1974ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 07ஆம் தேதி சென்னையில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் 1995ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து டென்னிஸ்  விளையாடி வருகிறார். உலகின் சிறந்த இரட்டையர் டென்னிஸ் வீரர்களில் இவரும் ஒருவராவார்.

• இவர் கலப்பு இரட்டையர் பிரிவில், சானியா மிர்சாவுடன் இணைந்து 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆஸ்திரேலிய ஓபன் பட்டத்தையும், 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு பிரெஞ்சு ஓபன் பட்டத்தையும் வென்றார்.

• உலக தர வரிசையில் இரட்டையர் பிரிவில் முதல் இடம் வகித்தவர்.

• 2001ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவின் மிக உயர்ந்த விருதுகளில் ஒன்றான பத்மஸ்ரீ விருது இவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கவாஜா அஹமது அப்பாஸ் - Khwaja Ahmad Abbas - Indian Film Director - Screenwriter - Novelist - Journalist - Padma Shri Awardee :

✒️Hindi film director and novelist Khwaja Ahmed Abbas was born on June 7, 1914 in Panipat, Haryana. His column titled 'Azad Kalam' in urdu edition is the longest-running political column in Indian history. He directed the first movie 'Dharti Ke Lal'. Raj Kapoor's films like 'Aawara', 'Shree 420', 'Jagte Raho', 'Mera Naam Joker', 'Henna' etc., for which he wrote screenplays, are popular. He has received many awards including 'Nargis Dutt Award', 'Swarovski Literary Award', 'Ghalib Award', 'Padma Shri'. Khwaja Ahmed Abbas, who left his mark in many fields, passed away on June 1, 1987.

• இந்தி திரைப்பட இயக்குநர் மற்றும் நாவல் ஆசிரியரான கவாஜா அஹமது அப்பாஸ் 1914ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 07ஆம் தேதி ஹரியானாவில் பானிபட் என்னும் ஊரில் பிறந்தார். 

• இவர் 'ஆசாத் கலாம்" (Azad Kalam) என்ற தலைப்பில் எழுதிய தொடர் இந்திய வரலாற்றில் நீண்ட கால அரசியல் தொடராகும். 

• இவர் தர்தி கே லால் (Dharti Ke Lal) என்ற திரைப்படத்தை முதன்முதலாக இயக்கினார். இவர் திரைக்கதை எழுதிய ராஜ்கபூரின் படங்களான ஆவாரா, ஸ்ரீ 420, ஜாக்தே ரஹோ, மேரா நாம் ஜோக்கர், ஹென்னா போன்றவை பிரபலமானவை.

• இவர் நர்கீஸ் தத் விருது (Nargis Dutt Award), வோரோஸ்கி இலக்கிய விருது (Swarovski Literary Award), காலிப் விருது (Ghalib Award), பத்மஸ்ரீ (Padma Shri) உட்பட பல விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

• பல களங்களில் தனி முத்திரை பதித்த கவாஜா அஹமது அப்பாஸ் 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 1ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1917ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 7ஆம் தேதி புலிட்சர் விருது பெற்ற முதல் ஆப்பிரிக்க-அமெரிக்க பெண் கவிஞர் குவெண்ட்லின் எலிசபெத் ப்ரூக்ஸ் அமெரிக்காவின் கான்சாஸ் மாநிலத் தலைநகர் டொபேகாவில் பிறந்தார் - Gwendolyn Elizabeth Brooks, the first African-American woman poet who received the Pulitzer Prize, was born on June 7, 1917, in Topeka, Kansas. Her poetry collection "Annie Allen" won the Pulitzer Prize (1950) for poetry and making the history that the first African American to win a Pulitzer Prize. She was a strong supporter of social justice movements and she participated actively in civil rights activities.
