✒️A nationwide polio vaccination drive is being held today, June 28, for all children aged five years and under. The campaign runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (According to the Health Department, the vaccine will be administered at various locations, including government hospitals, Primary Health Centres, Anganwadi centres, private hospitals, bus and railway stations, and markets).

பி.வி.நரசிம்ம ராவ் -Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao - Lawyer - Politician - Former Prime Minister of India (9th Prime minister from 1991 to 1996) :
✒️Former Prime Minister of India P.V.Narasimha Rao was born on June 28, 1921 in Laknepalli, a village in Warangal District, Telangana. Being an Indian freedom fighter, Rao served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1971 to 1973. Later, he held the posts of Foreign Minister (1980-84), Home Minister (1984), Defense Minister (1984-85) and Human Resource Development Minister (1985) under the Central Government. After the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi in 1991, he was elected as the President of the Indian National Congress. The Congress party won the election in 1991 and served as Prime Minister for five years. P.V.Narasimha Rao, the father of Indian economic reforms, passed away on December 23, 2004.

- பின்னர் மத்திய அரசின் கீழ் வெளியுறவு அமைச்சர் (1980-84) உள்துறை அமைச்சர் (1984), பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் (1984-85), மனித வள மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சர் (1985) போன்ற பதவிகளையும் வகித்துள்ளார்.
- 1991ஆம் ஆண்டு ராஜீவ் காந்தி கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட பிறகு, இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் தலைவராக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.
- 1991ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற தேர்தலில் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி வெற்றி பெற்று ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் பிரதமராக பதவி வகித்தார். இந்திய பொருளாதார சீர்திருத்தங்களின் தந்தையான பி.வி.நரசிம்ம ராவ் 2004ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 23ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
கோப்பெர்ட் மேயர் - Maria Goeppert Mayer - German-born American Theoretical Physicist (She was the Second woman to win a Nobel Prize in physics) :
✒️Nobel laureate German physicist Maria Goeppert Mayer was born on June 28, 1906 in Katowice, Prussia (now Poland), then part of Germany. She carried out research in theoretical physics and received her doctorate in publishing theories on the absorption of photons. The unit of cross-sectional area of photons was later named GM unit after her. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1963 along with Jensen and Eugene Paul Wigner for developing a model of nuclear structure. Maria Goeppert Mayer, who worked diligently and carved her own niche in the world of science in a time when opportunities were denied to women, died on February 20, 1972.
- நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற ஜெர்மன் இயற்பியலாளர் மரியா கோப்பெர்ட் மேயர் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 28ஆம் தேதி ஜெர்மனியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக விளங்கிய பிரஷ்யாவின் கட்டோவிஸ் நகரில் (தற்போதைய போலந்து) பிறந்தார்.

- பெண்களுக்கான வாய்ப்புகள் மறுக்கப்பட்ட காலக்கட்டத்திலும், விடாமுயற்சியுடன் உழைத்து, அறிவியல் உலகில் தனியிடம் பிடித்த மரியா கோப்பெர்ட் மேயர் 1972ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 20ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
