உலக குழந்தை தொழிலாளர் ஒழிப்பு தினம் - World Day Against Child Labour :

🌟Child labor continues to exist all over the world. Despite the laws, it could not be eradicated completely. Therefore, this day is observed to create awareness for the future welfare of child labourers.

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி உலக குழந்தை தொழிலாளர் ஒழிப்பு தினம் 2002ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

• உலகம் முழுவதும் குழந்தை தொழிலாளர்கள் இருந்துகொண்டு தான் இருக்கின்றனர். சட்டங்கள் இருந்தாலும் இதனை முற்றிலுமாக ஒழிக்க முடியவில்லை. எனவே, குழந்தை தொழிலாளர்களின் எதிர்கால நலன் கருதி விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவே இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

ஆன் ஃபிராங்க் - Annelies Marie Frank - German-Dutch diarist :

🌟Anne's story might be a tragedy but ended fruitfully, her dream come true;

• Anne Frank, was born on June 12, 1929, in Germany. She is the author of the world-famous diary namely "Het Achterhuis" (Meaning, the back house), the first Dutch edition of Anne Frank's diary was published in 1947 and later translated into English as "The Diary of a Young Girl." In a pathetic situation she has written this diary. During Hitler's rule, Anne's family forced to live out in a hideout due to the atrocities took place in the Hitler's regime. While so, a diary was presented to her on her's birthday, she named it after the character 'Kitty' from the novel, in which she wrote diaries. In it she wrote about the events around her and the independence struggles. In 1945 the whole family was imprisoned in torture camps. Subsequently Anne Frank was died at the age of 15 due to the fever. After her death a woman named Miep Gies handed over anne's diary to her father. The diary contained records of life from 1942 to 1944. In it Anne Frank wrote that one should live after death. Her father published the diary to fulfill his daughter's wish. This version has been translated into many languages. Through his diary she still lives in the minds of millions of people around the world today.

• உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற நாட்குறிப்பு நூலை எழுதிய ஆன் ஃபிராங்க் 1929ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி ஜெர்மனியில் பிறந்தார்.

• ஹிட்லர் ஆட்சியின்போது பல கொடுமைகள் நடந்ததால் இவர்களது குடும்பம் ஒரு மறைவிடத்தில் வசித்தது. இவருடைய பிறந்தநாளுக்கு பரிசாக கிடைத்த டைரியில், நாவலில் வரும் 'கிட்டி" என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தின் பெயரையே சூட்டி, அதில் நாட்குறிப்புகளை எழுதி வந்தார்.

• தன்னை சுற்றி நடக்கும் சம்பவங்கள் குறித்தும், சுதந்திரப் போராட்டங்கள் குறித்தும் அதில் எழுதினார். 1945ஆம் ஆண்டு குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரும் சித்ரவதை முகாம்களில் அடைக்கப்பட்டனர். அங்கு காய்ச்சலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 15வது வயதில் ஆன் ஃபிராங்க் மறைந்தார்.

• அந்த டைரியை ஒரு பெண் அவளுடைய தந்தையிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். அந்த நாட்குறிப்பில் 1942ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையிலான வாழ்க்கை பற்றிய பதிவுகள் இருந்தன. அதில் மரணத்துக்கு பின்பும் வாழ வேண்டும் என்று ஆன் ஃபிராங்க் எழுதியிருந்தார். தன் மகளின் விருப்பத்தை நிறைவேற்ற அவருடைய தந்தை அந்த டைரியை வெளியிட்டார்.

• இதன் பதிப்பு பல மொழிகளில் மொழியாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவர் தன் டைரி மூலம் இன்றும் உலகம் முழுவதும் கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்கள் மனதில் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறார்.

🌟 1964ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி தென்னாப்பிரிக்க நீதிமன்றம் நெல்சன் மண்டேலாவுக்கு ஆயுட்கால சிறை தண்டனை விதித்தது - On June 12, 1964, a South African court sentenced Nelson Mandela to life in prison.

🌟 1924ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்க முன்னாள் அதிபர் ஜார்ஜ் ஹெச்.டபிள்யு.புஷ்  பிறந்தார் - Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush was born on June 12, 1924.

🌟 1932ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி இந்திய நடிகை மற்றும் பரதநாட்டிய நடன கலைஞரான பத்மினி பிறந்தார் - Padmini an Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer was born on June 12, 1932.

🌟 2014ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 12ஆம் தேதி தமிழ் சிறுவர் இலக்கிய எழுத்தாளரான வி.கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி மறைந்தார் - V. Krishnamurthy, a Tamil children's literature writer, passed away on June 12, 2014.
