உலக இயற்கை வளம் பாதுகாப்பு தினம் - World Nature Conservation Day :
✒️World Nature Conservation Day is observed on 28th July every year. The International Union for Conservation of Nature was established in 1948 to protect the world's natural resources and to solve the environmental problems that have arisen in the world and to face the resulting challenges. So, this day is celebrated with an intention to that "if we protect nature, nature will protect us."
- ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலக இயற்கை வளம் பாதுகாப்பு தினம் ஜூலை 28ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- உலகிலுள்ள இயற்கை வளங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காக பன்னாட்டு இயற்கைப் பாதுகாப்பு சங்கம் 1948ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. உலகத்தில் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு தீர்வு காணவும், அதனால் ஏற்படும் சவால்களை உலகம் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. ஆகவே இயற்கையை நாம் பாதுகாத்தால், இயற்கை நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கும் என்கிற நோக்கில் இத்தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
உலக கல்லீரல் அழற்சி தினம் - World Hepatitis Day :
- கல்லீரலைத் தாக்கும் ஹெபடைடிஸ் (Hepatitis) எனப்படும் மஞ்சள் காமாலை நோயால் ஆண்டிற்கு பல லட்சம் பேர் உயிரிழக்கின்றனர். இந்த நோய் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தி இதை கட்டுப்படுத்தவே ஆண்டுதோறும் ஜூலை 28ஆம் தேதி இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- கல்லீரல் அழற்சி நோய்களுக்கான அறிகுறிகள், தடுப்பு மற்றும் சிகிச்சை முறைகளைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை உலக மக்களிடையே ஏற்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்தோடு இத்தினம் உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பால் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
ராபர்ட் ஹூக் - Robert Hooke - Scientist - Polymath :
- செல் (Cell) என்ற சொல்லை முதலில் உருவாக்கிய ராபர்ட் ஹூக் 1635ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 28ஆம் தேதி இங்கிலாந்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் தாவரத் திசுக்களின் நுண்ணமைப்பு பற்றிய விரிவான விளக்கங்களை தந்துள்ளார். மேலும் பல வானியல் கருவிகள், கைக்கடிகாரங்கள், சுவர்க்கடிகாரங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை மேம்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.
- முதன் முதலாக, கோள்களின் இயக்கங்கள் குறித்த கோட்பாடுகளை எந்திரவியல் அடிப்படையில் அணுகி அண்ட ஈர்ப்பு விசையின் இருப்பைக் கணித்தார். 1684ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைமுறைப்படுத்த வல்ல தந்தி முறை ஒன்றை உருவாக்கினார்.
- மேலும், இவர் முதல் கணித கருவியையும், தொலைநோக்கியையும் வடிவமைத்துள்ளார். ஹூக் விதியை வரையறுத்துள்ளார். இன்றளவும் மிகச்சிறந்த எந்திரவியலாளராகக் கருதப்படும் இவர் 1703ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 3ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1914ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 28ஆம் தேதி முதலாம் உலகப்போர் ஆரம்பமானது - First world war began on July 28, 1914.
🌟 1821ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 28ஆம் தேதி பெரு என்ற நாடு ஸ்பெயினிடம் இருந்து விடுதலை பெற்றது - Peru city was gained independence from Spain on July 28, 1821.
🌟 1988ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 28ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவின் தேசிய இறகுப்பந்து வீரர் சையது மோடி மறைந்தார் - India's National Badminton player Syed Modi was passed away (shot dead) on July 28, 1988.
