✒️On July 10, 1806, hundreds of British soldiers and Indian freedom fighters were killed in an uprising at Vellore Fort in Tamil Nadu. Today, this day is observed to honor the memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the nation.

✒️The first Cricketer reached 100 Test matches in the world, was born on 10 July 1949 in Mumbai. He started playing first-class cricket in 1966-67. He scored 156 and 102 in the 2nd and 3rd Tests against the West Indies in 1975–76. He has participated in a total of 125 international Test matches. He has also been a captain in Test matches. He has played 100 first-class cricket matches including Ranji Trophy and Irani Trophy. He has received many awards including Padma Bhushan, Arjuna Award, Lifetime Achievement Award.

Her first book is "The Dimensions of a Shadow," "Dance of the Happy Shades" is the first story collection. Subsequently, his books appeared in various popular magazines. She has won the Governor General's Award for Fiction three times, the Man Booker Award, the O Henry Award, the Edward MacDowell Medal, and the W.H.Smith Literary Award. She was called the greatest writer of fiction and Canada's Chekhov.
