77வது இந்திய சுதந்திர தினம் - 77th Indian Independence Day :
✒️On 15th August 1947, India gained Independence at midnight. On this day respect is paid to the martyrs of the freedom struggle. In December 1929, at the All India Conference in Lahore, a resolution was passed that complete self-government was the immediate aspiration of our country. Another resolution was also passed that Gandhiji himself would decide and announce the struggle for its implementation. Gandhiji gave serious thought to ways of diverting the national upheaval to the path of non-violence. As a first step, he appealed to the entire country to celebrate Independence Day peacefully on 26th January (1930). 17 years before independence, Independence Day was established by Gandhiji on January 26. It has been celebrated as Republic Day since 1950.
- 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி இந்தியா நள்ளிரவில் சுதந்திரம் பெற்றது. இந்நாளில் சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட தியாகிகளுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தப்படுகிறது.
- 1929ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் மாதம் லாகூரில் கூடிய அகில இந்திய மாநாட்டில், பூரண சுயராஜ்ஜியமே நமது நாட்டின் உடனடியான லட்சியம் என்ற தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. அதனை செயல்படுத்துவதற்கான போராட்டம் குறித்து காந்தியே முடிவு செய்து அறிவிப்பார் என்று மற்றொரு தீர்மானமும் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
- தேசிய எழுச்சியை அகிம்சைப் பாதையில் திசை திருப்புவதற்கான வழிகள் குறித்து காந்தி தீவிர சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்ந்தார். அதன் முதல் கட்டமாக, நாடு முழுவதும் ஜனவரி 26ஆம் தேதி (1930) அமைதியாகச் சுதந்திர தினம் கொண்டாட வேண்டும் என வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார். சுதந்திரம் பெறுவதற்கு 17 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே காந்தியடிகள் ஏற்படுத்திய சுதந்திர தின நாள் ஜனவரி 26, இது 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் குடியரசு தினமாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் கோஷ் - Sri Aurobindo - Indian Philosopher - Yoga Guru - Poet :
✒️Sri Aurobindo, freedom fighter and spiritual sage, was born on 15th August 1872 in Calcutta. His full name is Aurobindo Ghosh. He traveled to many places and mobilized support for national awareness, Swadeshi movement, non-cooperation and national education movements. He had a deep friendship with Tilak and Sister Nivedita. Thousands of notes written by him to his disciples were collected and published as "Letters on Yoga". Such a great poet, professor of history, politician and writer, was passed away on 5th December 1950.
- விடுதலை இயக்க வீரரும், ஆன்மிக ஞானியுமான ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் 1872ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி கல்கத்தாவில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் முழுப்பெயர் அரவிந்த கோஷ்.
- பல இடங்களுக்கு பயணம் மேற்கொண்டு தேசிய விழிப்புணர்வு, சுதேசி இயக்கம், ஒத்துழையாமை, தேசியக் கல்வி இயக்கங்களுக்கு ஆதரவு திரட்டினார். திலகர், சகோதரி நிவேதிதா உடன் ஆழமான நட்பு கொண்டிருந்தார்.
- இவர் சீடர்களுக்கு எழுதிய ஆயிரக்கணக்கான குறிப்புகள் திரட்டப்பட்டு "லெட்டர்ஸ் ஆன் யோகா" என்ற நூலாக வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
- சிறந்த கவிஞர், சரித்திரப் பேராசிரியர், அரசியல்ஞானி, எழுத்தாளர் என பன்முகத்திறன் கொண்ட அரவிந்தர் 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 5ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

நெப்போலியன் போனபார்ட் - Napoleon Bonaparte - French Military General - First Emperor of France :
✒️French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15, 1769 in Ajaccio on the French island of Corsica. He completed his training as a warrior and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1785. In 1796, he was promoted to the rank of Commander. He became famous for defeating the Austrian forces in Italy. As a result he was crowned as King of France in 1804 with the support of the French people. He was victorious in many battles and died on May 5, 1821 due to cancer.
- பிரெஞ்சுப் பேரரசர் நெப்போலியன் போனபார்ட் 1769ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி பிரான்ஸின் கோர்சிகா தீவில் உள்ள அஜாஸியோ நகரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் போர் வீரருக்கான பயிற்சியை முடித்து, 2ஆம் நிலை லெப்டினன்டாக (Second lieutenant) 1785ஆம் ஆண்டு பதவி ஏற்றார். 1796ஆம் ஆண்டு படைத்தளபதியாக பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார். இத்தாலியில் ஆஸ்திரிய படைகளை முறியடித்து புகழ்பெற்றார். பிரெஞ்சு மக்களின் பேராதரவுடன் 1804ஆம் ஆண்டு பிரான்ஸ் மன்னராக முடிசூட்டிக்கொண்டார்.
- பல போர்களில் வெற்றியை குவித்த இவர் புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 1821ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 5ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி வேதியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற ரிச்சர்டு கெக் பிறந்தார் - Richard Heck, Nobel Prize winner for Chemistry, was born on August 15, 1931.
🌟 தென் கொரியா 1948 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15 ஆம் தேதி உருவாக்கப்பட்டது - South Korea is formed on 15 August 1948.
🌟 ஆகஸ்ட் 15, 1975 இல், வங்காளதேசத்தின் முதல் ஜனாதிபதி ஷேக் முஜிபுர் ரஹ்மான் மற்றும் அவரது முழு குடும்பத்தினரும் (ஷேக் ஹசீனாவைத் தவிர) வங்காளத்தில் இராணுவ சதிப்புரட்சியில் கொல்லப்பட்டனர் - On August 15, 1975, first President of Bangladesh's Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his entire family (except Sheikh Hasina) were killed in a military coup in Bengal.
