சர்வதேச அணு ஆயுத சோதனை எதிர்ப்பு தினம் - International Day Against Nuclear Test :

✒️During World War II, in 1945, the United States dropped the first atomic bomb on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Since then, about 2000 nuclear weapons tests have been conducted. By using nuclear weapons in wrong ways, people's lives, health and environment are affected. Today's nuclear weapons can destroy the earth 500 times over. Therefore, the UN is concerned about its consequences and insisting on preventing its spread, hence, this day is observed on 29th August every year.

• இரண்டாம் உலகப்போரின் போது ஜப்பான் நாட்டின் ஹிரோஷிமா, நாகசாகி ஆகிய நகரங்களின் மீது அமெரிக்கா அணு ஆயுதத்தை முதன்முதலாக 1945ஆம் ஆண்டில் வீசியது. அதன் பிறகு இதுவரை சுமார் 2000 அணு ஆயுத சோதனைகள் நடத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. அணு ஆயுதத்தை தவறான வழிகளில் பயன்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கை, சுகாதாரம், சுற்றுச்சூழல் உள்ளிட்ட பாதிப்புகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன.

• இன்றைக்குள்ள அணு ஆயுதங்களை கொண்டு பூமியை 500 முறை அழிக்கலாம். ஆகவே இதன் விளைவுகள் பற்றியும், அதன் பரவலைத் தடுக்க வலியுறுத்தியும் ஐ.நா. சார்பில் இத்தினம் ஆகஸ்ட் 29ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

Major Dhyan Chand - Hockey Player

தயான் சந்த் - Major Dhyan Chand - Indian  Hockey Player (One of the Greatest in the History of the Sport) :

• இந்திய ஹாக்கி ஜாம்பவான் தயான் சந்த் 1905ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 29ஆம் தேதி உத்தரப்பிரதேசத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவருடைய பிறந்த தினமே இந்தியாவில் தேசிய விளையாட்டு தினமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

• 1928, 1932, 1936 ஆகிய ஆண்டுகளில் நடைபெற்ற ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகளில் இந்தியா தங்கப்பதக்கம் வென்றதற்கு இவரே முக்கியக் காரணம். இவர் ஹாக்கி விளையாடும் முறை இன்றளவிலும் வியக்க வைக்கும் விஷயமாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

• இவர் 1948ஆம் ஆண்டு ஓய்வு பெற்றார். இவரை கௌரவிக்கும் விதமாக டெல்லி தேசிய மைதானத்திற்கு இவருடைய பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவருக்கு இந்திய அரசு பத்ம பூஷண் விருது அளித்துள்ளது. 

• மூன்று முறை ஒலிம்பிக்கில் தங்கம் வென்ற இந்தியாவின் மிகச்சிறந்த ஹாக்கி வீரர் தயான் சந்த் 1979ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 3ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

மைக்கல் ஜாக்சன் - Michael Joseph Jackson - King of Pop - American Singer - Lyricist - Dancer :

• இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் மகத்தான பாப் இசைக்கலைஞர் என்று போற்றப்படும் மைக்கல் ஜோசஃப் ஜாக்சன் 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 29ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவின் இன்டியானா நகரில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் வெளியிட்ட த்ரில்லர் இசை ஆல்பம்தான் உலகிலேயே மிக அதிகமாக விற்பனையான இசை ஆல்பம். இந்த வெற்றி கின்னஸ் சாதனைப் பட்டியலில் இடம்பிடித்தது. இவர் பல கிராமி விருதுகளையும், அமெரிக்க இசை விருதுகளையும் வென்றுள்ளார். கிராமி வாழ்நாள் சாதனையாளர் விருதும் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

• இவர் பாடல் எழுதி, அதற்கு இசையமைத்து, பாடலுக்கு தகுந்தாற்போல நடனம் ஆடுவது, இடையிடையே நடிப்பு என அனைத்தும் கலந்த பாப் நடனத்தைப் படைத்த அபூர்வ இசைமேதை. அமெரிக்காவில் மக்கள் செல்வாக்குப் பெற்ற முதல் கருப்பின இசைக்கலைஞர். இவர் படைத்த ரோபாட், மூன்வாக் போன்ற நடன வகைகள் மிகவும் பிரபலம்.

• இன்றளவும் பாப் இசையுலகின் ஈடு இணையற்ற கலைஞராகப் போற்றப்படும் மைக்கல் ஜாக்சன், உடல் நலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 25ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟The Railway Protection Force Act, 1957 : It was enacted 29th August 1957 & came into force on 10th September 1959, to provide for the constitution and regulation of an armed Force of the Union for the better protection and security of railway property, passenger area and passengers and for matters connected therewith.

🌟The Diplomatic Relations (Vienna Convention) Act, 1972 : It was enacted & enforced on 29th August 1972, to give effect to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961 and to provide for matters connected therewith.

🌟1831ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 29ஆம் தேதி மைக்கேல் பாரடே மின்காந்தத் தூண்டலைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார் - Michael Faraday discovered electromagnetic induction on August 29, 1831.

🌟1949ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 29ஆம் தேதி இந்திய அறிவியலாளர் கே.இராதாகிருஷ்ணன் கேரளாவில் பிறந்தார் - Indian scientist K.Radhakrishnan was born on August 29, 1949 in Kerala.

🌟 இந்தியாவில் தேசிய விளையாட்டு தினம் ஆகஸ்ட் 29 ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது - National Sports Day is celebrated in India on 29th August.
