🌟International Albinism Awareness Day is observed on 13th June every year. The day is observed by the United Nations to spread awareness about the disease and fight discrimination faced by a person living with the disease.
  • சர்வதேச அல்பினிசம் விழிப்புணர்வு தினம் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் ஜூன் 13ந் தேதியன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்நோயைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வைப் பரப்புவதற்கும், இந்நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நபர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பாகுபாட்டை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதற்கும் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையால் இந்நாள் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.


James Clerk Maxwell, Mathematician & Scientist

ஜேம்ஸ் கிளார்க் மாக்ஸ்வெல் - James Clerk Maxwell - Scottish Mathematician & Scientist :

🌟Theoretical physicist James Clerk Maxwell was born on June 13, 1831 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He conducted research on electromagnetism and was the first to experiment with evidence for the existence of electromagnetic waves. And in 1865 developed the theory of electromagnetism. He developed a statistical method to explain the kinetic theory of gases. This is referred to as the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution.

  • கோட்பாட்டு இயற்பியலாளரான ஜேம்ஸ் கிளார்க் மாக்ஸ்வெல் 1831ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 13ஆம் தேதி ஸ்காட்லாந்து நாட்டின் எடின்பர்கில் பிறந்தார்.

  • இவர் மின்காந்தவியல் குறித்து ஆராய்ச்சிகள் மேற்கொண்டு முதன்முதலில் மின்காந்த அலைகள் இருப்பதற்கான ஆதாரங்களைப் பரிசோதனை மூலம் நிரூபித்தார். மேலும் 1865ஆம் ஆண்டு மின்காந்தவியல் கோட்பாட்டை உருவாக்கினார். 

  • வாயுக்களின் இயக்கக் கோட்பாட்டை (kinetic theory of gases) விளக்குவதற்காக புள்ளியியல் முறையை உருவாக்கினார். இது Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution எனக் குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறது.

  • இறுதிவரை ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வந்தவரும், தலைசிறந்த விஞ்ஞானியுமான ஜேம்ஸ் கிளார்க் மாக்ஸ்வெல், தனது 48வது வயதில் (1879-11-05) மறைந்தார்.

பான் கி மூன் - Ban Ki-Moon - South Korean Politician, Diplomat & Former Secretary-General of United Nations :

🌟Ban Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations, was born on June 13, 1944 in Korea. He became the Secretary-General of the United Nations in 2007. Twice in a row he has Served the post as the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations from January 2007 to December 2016 - He first joined the Indian Embassy in South Korea and has held various positions in the Korean Foreign Ministry.

  • ஐ.நா.வின் 8வது பொதுச் செயலாளரான பான் கி மூன் 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 13ஆம் தேதி கொரியாவில் பிறந்தார்.

  • இவர் ஐ.நா.வின் பொதுச் செயலாளராக 2007ஆம் ஆண்டு பதவியேற்றார். அடுத்தடுத்து இரண்டு முறை ஐ.நா. பொதுச்செயலாளராக பணியாற்றியுள்ள இவரின் பதவிக்காலம் 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 31ஆம் தேதி நிறைவடைந்தது. 

  • தென் கொரியாவின் இந்தியத் தூதரகத்தில் முதன்முதலாக பணியில் சேர்ந்த இவர் கொரிய வெளியுறவுத்துறையின் பல்வேறு பொறுப்புகளில் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.

🌟 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 13ஆம் தேதி சோவியத் ஒன்றியத்தில் முதலாவது வைரச் சுரங்கம் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது - On June 13, 1955, the first diamond mine was discovered in the Soviet Union, namely "Mir mine" is an open pit diamond mine situated in Mirny, Sakha Republic, in the Siberian district of eastern Russia. The mine is in excess of 525 meters (1,722 ft) profound (fourth on the planet), has a breadth of 1,200 m (3,900 ft) and is one of the biggest unearthed openings on the planet.


🌟 1983ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 13ஆம் தேதி பயனியர் 10, சூரியக் குடும்பத்தை தாண்டிய முதலாவது விண்கலம் ஆனது - On June 13, 1983, Pioneer 10 became the first spacecraft to cross the Solar System.


🌟 1965ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 13ஆம் தேதி இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் மனிந்தர் சிங் புனேயில் பிறந்தார் - Indian cricketer Maninder Singh was born on June 13, 1965 in Pune.
