உலக குடை தினம் - World Umbrella Day :

✒️World Umbrella Day is observed on 10th February every year. Umbrella is used to protect us from sun radiation and rain. This day is celebrated to honor the world's most useful invention of umbrella. On this day, beautiful and artistic umbrellas are gifted to family, relatives and friends.

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பிப்ரவரி 10ஆம் தேதி உலக குடை தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. குடை, நம்மை சூரியனின் கதிர்வீச்சு மற்றும் மழையிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக பயன்படுகிறது.
• இந்த நாளில் உலகின் மிக பயனுள்ள கண்டுபிடிப்பான குடையை போற்றுவதற்காக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இத்தினத்தில் குடும்பத்தினர், உறவினர், நண்பர்களுக்கு அழகிய, கலை நயமிக்க குடைகளை பரிசளிக்கிறார்கள்.

தேசிய குடற்புழு நீக்க தினம் - National Deworming Day :

✒️National Deworming Day is observed on 10th February and 10th August every year in India. Worms in growing children cause stunted growth, anemia and malnutrition. On this day, Albendazole tablets are given to children between 1 to 19 years in all government government schools, government aided schools and Anganwadi centers to create awareness and prevent this.

• இந்தியாவில்  ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பிப்ரவரி 10 மற்றும் ஆகஸ்ட் 10 தேசிய குடற்புழு நீக்க தினமாக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. வளரும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு குடற்புழுக்கள் இருந்தால் உடல் வளர்ச்சி குறைபாடு, ரத்தசோகை மற்றும் ஊட்டச்சத்து குறைபாடு ஏற்படுகிறது. இந்நாளில் இதுகுறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தவும், தடுக்கும் வகையில்  1 முதல் 19 வரை உள்ள குழந்தைகளுக்கு அல்பெண்டசோல் மாத்திரை அனைத்து அரசு அரசு பள்ளிகள் அரசு உதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகள் மற்றும் அங்கன்வாடி மையத்தில் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

உலக பருப்பு தினம் - World Pulses Day :

✒️10th February is observed as "World Pulses Day" since 2019 as declared by the United Nations to create awareness about the importance of pulses and their nutritional benefits.

• பருப்பு வகைகளின் முக்கியத்துவம் மற்றும் அதன் ஊட்டச்சத்து நன்மைகளை குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக 2019ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட பிப்ரவரி 10 ஆம் தேதி "உலக பருப்பு தினமாக" அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.

John Franklin Enders - Scientist

ஜான் பிராங்க்ளின் எண்டர்ஸ் - John Franklin Enders - American Biomedical Scientist and Nobel Laureate :

✒️John Franklin Enders was born on 10th February 1897 in the United States. He researched certain factors regarding the potency of bacteria and the strength of the body's immune system. He then worked with his team to study the virus that causes measles and mumps. He also discovered an immunosuppressive drug to cure it. He was awarded Nobel Prize on 1954 for Medicine in collaboration with DH Weller and FC Robbins for their research into the production of new, risk-free poliomyelitis viruses that lead to the development of polio vaccines. Through their research, scientists have been able to produce more polio viruses. This research method helped to carry out research not only on polio vaccine but also on other viruses. John Franklin Enders, the father of modern vaccines, who revolutionized research on viruses, died on 8th September 1985.

• உயிரியலின் மிகச் சிறப்பாக பங்காற்றிய ஜான் பிராங்க்ளின் எண்டர்ஸ் (John Franklin Enders) 1897ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 10ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் பாக்டீரியாக்களின் வீரியத்தன்மை மற்றும் உடலின் நோய் எதிர்ப்புசக்தியின் ஆற்றல் குறித்து சில காரணிகளை ஆராய்ச்சி செய்து வந்தார். அதன்பிறகு தன் குழுவினருடன் இணைந்து பொன்னுக்கு வீங்கி அம்மை நோயை உண்டாக்கும் வைரஸ் குறித்து ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். அதைக் குணப்படுத்தும் நோய் எதிர்ப்புசக்தி மருந்தையும் கண்டறிந்தார்.

• போலியோ தடுப்பு மருந்து தயாரிப்புக்கு காரணமாக அமைந்த புதிய, ஆபத்து இல்லாத முறையிலான போலியோமையெலிட்டிஸ் (poliomyelitis) வைரஸ்கள் உற்பத்திக்கான ஆய்விற்கு டி.ஹெச்.வெல்லர் மற்றும் எஃப்.சி.ராபின்ஸ் இருவருடன் இணைந்து இவருக்கு 1954ஆம் ஆண்டு மருத்துவத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• இவர்களது ஆராய்ச்சி மூலம் விஞ்ஞானிகளால் போலியோ வைரஸ்களை அதிக அளவில் உற்பத்தி செய்ய முடிந்தது. இந்த ஆராய்ச்சி முறை, போலியோ மருந்து தயாரிப்புக்கு மட்டுமல்லாமல், பிற வைரஸ்களைப் பற்றிய ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொள்ள உதவியது.

• வைரஸ்கள் குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சியில் ஒரு புரட்சியை ஏற்படுத்திய நவீன தடுப்பு மருந்துகளின் தந்தை ஜான் பிராங்க்ளின் எண்டர்ஸ் 1985ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 8ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟பி.கே.ரோஸி, இந்திய நடிகை, மலையாள சினிமா துறையில் முதல் பெண் கதாநாயகி, (அவரது முதல் படம், "விகாதகுமாரன் - தி லாஸ்ட் சைல்ட்", ஜே.சி.டேனியல் இயக்கியது) இவர் 10 பிப்ரவரி 1903 அன்று பிறந்தார் - P.K.Rosy, Indian actress, first female lead in Malayalam cinema industry, (Her first movie named,"Vigathakumaran - The Lost Child", directed by J.C.Daniel) was born on 10th February 1903.

🌟 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 10ஆம் தேதி மு.கருணாநிதி அவர்கள் தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதலமைச்சராக முதன்முதலாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார் - On February 10, 1969, M.Karunanidhi was first time elected as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

🌟 1996ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 10ஆம் தேதி ஐ.பி.எம்.சதுரங்கக் கணினி "டீப்ளூ", உலக முதற்தரவீரர் காரி காஸ்பரோவை வென்றது - IBM Chess System 'Deep Blue' beats world number one Garry Kasparov on February 10, 1996.

🌟பிப்ரவரி 10, 2009 அன்று, தகவல் தொடர்பு செயற்கைக்கோள்களான இரிடியம் 33 மற்றும் காஸ்மோஸ்-2251 ஆகியவை விண்வெளியில் மோதி அழிந்தன - On February 10, 2009, the communications satellites Iridium 33 and Kosmos-2251 collided in space and were destroyed.
