சர்வதேச மலைகள் தினம் - International Mountain Day :

✒️In order to protect the mountains and to improve the living standards of the people living in the mountain areas and to protect the environment of the mountain, the UN Council declared December 11, 2002 as International Mountain Day.

• மலைகளைப் பாதுகாக்கவும், மலைப்பிரதேசங்களில் வாழும் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத்தரத்தை மேம்படுத்தவும், மலையின் சுற்றுச்சூழலை பாதுகாக்கவும், 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு மலைகளின் கூட்டாளி என்கிற அமைப்பு இத்தினத்தை உருவாக்கியது. இவ்வமைப்பின் முயற்சியால் ஐ.நா.சபை 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதியை சர்வதேச மலைகள் தினமாக அறிவித்தது.

Subramania Bharathi - Great Poet

சுப்பிரமணிய பாரதியார் - Subramania Bharathi - Independence Activist - Tamil Writer - Poet - Journalist :

✒️National Poet, Subramania Bharati was born on 11th December 1882 at Ettayapuram in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. His birth name is Subramanian. He became proficient in Tamil at a young age. The Tamil literary world hails him as the Mustache Poet and the Mundasu Poet. He translated the Gita into Tamil in 1912. Famous epics like Kannan Pattu, Kuil Pattu, Panjali Sabatham, Puthiya Aathichudi were written by Bharatiyar. Mahakavi, who expressed his thirst for freedom through his songs before independence, died on September 11, 1921.

• தேசியகவி சுப்பிரமணிய பாரதியார் 1882ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாட்டின் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள எட்டயபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவருடைய இயற்பெயர் சுப்பிரமணியன்.

• இவர் இளம் வயதிலேயே தமிழில் புலமைப்பெற்று திகழ்ந்தார். தமிழ் இலக்கிய உலகம் இவரை மீசை கவிஞன் என்றும், முண்டாசு கவிஞன் என்றும் போற்றுகிறது.

• இவர் 1912ஆம் ஆண்டு கீதையை தமிழில் மொழிப்பெயர்த்தார். கண்ணன் பாட்டு, குயில் பாட்டு, பாஞ்சாலி சபதம், புதிய ஆத்திச்சூடி போன்ற புகழ்பெற்ற காவியங்கள் பாரதியாரால் எழுதப்பட்டவை.

• 'ஆடுவோமே பள்ளு பாடுவோமே ஆனந்த சுதந்திரம் அடைந்துவிட்டோம்" என்று சுதந்திரம் அடைவதற்கு முன்பே தன்னுடைய சுதந்திர தாகத்தை தன் பாடல்களின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்திய மகாகவி 1921ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 11ஆம் மறைந்தார்.

பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி - Pranab Mukherjee - Former President of India :

✒️Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee was born on 11th December 1935 in Birbhum district of West Bengal. He was a member of the West Bengal Legislative Council from 1952-64 and started his political career in 1969. He was elected as Rajya Sabha member in 1969, 1975, 1981, 1993, 1999. He served as the Finance Minister in the Indira Gandhi Cabinet from 1982-84. After the death of Indira Gandhi, he left away from the Congress Party and founded the Rashtriya Samajwadi Congress Party from 1986-89. He served as the President of India from 25th July 2012 to 25th July 2017. He passed away on 31st August 2020.

• முன்னாள் இந்திய குடியரசுத்தலைவர் பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி 1935ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலம் பிர்பும் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மிரதி எனும் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். 1952-64ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை மேற்கு வங்க சட்ட மேலவை உறுப்பினராக இருந்த இவர், 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு அரசியல் வாழ்க்கையை ஆரம்பித்தார். 

• இவர் ராஜ்யசபா உறுப்பினராக 1969, 1975, 1981, 1993, 1999 ஆகிய ஆண்டுகளில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். இந்திரா காந்தி அமைச்சரவையில் 1982-84ஆம் ஆண்டு நிதியமைச்சராக பணியாற்றினார். இந்திரா காந்தியின் மறைவுக்குப்பின் 1986-89ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியிலிருந்து விலகி, ராஷ்ட்ரிய சமாஜ்வாடி காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியைத் தொடங்கி நடத்தினார்.

• இவர் 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 25ஆம் தேதி முதல் 2017ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 25ஆம் தேதி வரை இந்தியாவின் குடியரசுத்தலைவராக பதவி வகித்துள்ளார். இவர் 2020ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 31ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

விஸ்வநாதன் ஆனந்த் - Viswanathan Anand - Indian Chess Grandmaster :

✒️Viswanathan Anand, Grand Master of Indian Chess, was born on 11th December 1969 in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu. In 1987, he became the first Indian to win the World Junior Chess Championship. Viswanathan Anand has received many awards like Chess Oscar Award (six times), Arjuna Award (1985), Padma Shri Award (1987), National Citizen Award (1987), Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award (1991), Book of the Year Award (1998), Padma Bhushan Award (2000), Padma Vibhushan Award (2007).

• இந்திய சதுரங்க கிராண்ட் மாஸ்டர் எனப் புகழப்படும் விஸ்வநாதன் ஆனந்த் 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள மயிலாடுதுறை என்ற இடத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு உலக ஜூனியர் சதுரங்கப் போட்டியில் வெற்றிபெற்று சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்ற முதல் இந்தியர் என்ற பெருமையை பெற்றார்.

• இந்தியாவின் புகழை இமயம் தொடச் செய்த விஸ்வநாதன் ஆனந்த் அர்ஜுனா விருது(1985), பத்ம ஸ்ரீ விருது(1987), தேசிய குடிமகன் விருது(1987), ராஜீவ்காந்தி கேல் ரத்னா விருது(1991), புக் ஆஃப் தி இயர் விருது(1998), பத்ம பூஷண் விருது(2000), சதுரங்க ஆஸ்கார் விருது(ஆறுமுறை), பத்ம விபூஷண் விருது(2007) போன்ற பல விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளார்.

🌟The Immigration (carriers Liability) Act, 2000 : It was enacted & enforced on 11th December 2000, to make the carriers liable in respect of passengers brought by them into India in contravention of the provisions of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920 and the rules made thereunder and matters connected therewith.

🌟The Administrators-General Act, 1963 : It was enacted on 11th December 1963 & came into force on 1st March 1964, to consolidate and amend the law relating to the office and duties of Administrators-General.

🌟ஓசோன் படலத்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்த பிரெஞ்சு இயற்பியலாளர் சார்லஸ் ஃபேப்ரி 1945 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11 ஆம் தேதி காலமானார் - Charles Fabry, French physicist, discoverer of Ozone Layer, was passed away on 11th December 1945.

🌟கர்நாடகா இசைக் கலைஞர் எம்.எஸ்.சுப்புலட்சுமி 2004ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி காலமானார் - Carnatic musician M.S.Subbulakshmi died on 2004, December 11.
