வினோபா பாவே - Vinoba Bhave - Philosopher - Freedom Fighter - Founder of Bhoodhan movement :
✒️Freedom fighter and father of Bhoodhan movement, Acharya Vinoba Bhave was born on 11th September 1895 in Maharashtra state. He started a monthly magazine 'Maharashtra Dharma' in 1923. He worked for Khadar clothing, village industries, education of villagers, health promotion and abolition of untouchability. He realizing that there are many needy people, there are also many people who are willing to give, Vinoba decided to be a bridge between the two sides. He started gifting of land movement known as 'Bhoodhan Movement', for which, he is called the father of Bhoodhan movement. He walked tens of thousands of miles across the country in 13 years. He received about 40 lakh acres of land as a gift. Hailed by Gandhiji as 'a better imbiber of Gandhianism than me', Vinoba Bhave, hailed as 'Acharya' by people and leaders, passed away on 15th November 1982.
- சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரரும், பூமிதான இயக்கத்தின் தந்தையுமான ஆச்சார்ய வினோபா பாவே 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் 'மகாராஷ்டிர தர்மா" என்ற மாத இதழை 1923ஆம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கினார். கதர் ஆடை, கிராமத் தொழில்கள், கிராம மக்களின் கல்வி, சுகாதார மேம்பாட்டுக்காகவும், தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்புக்காகவும் பாடுபட்டார்.
- தேவையுள்ளவர்கள் அதிகம் இருக்கும் இங்கு, கொடுக்கும் மனம் உள்ளவர்களும் நிறைய பேர் இருப்பதை புரிந்துகொண்ட வினோபா, இரு தரப்பினருக்கும் பாலமாக இருக்க முடிவு செய்தார். 'பூதான்" எனப்படும் பூமிதான இயக்கத்தை தொடங்கினார். எனவே, இவர் பூமிதான இயக்கத்தின் தந்தை என அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.
- இவர் 13 ஆண்டுகளில் நாடு முழுவதும் பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான மைல்கள் நடைபயணம் மேற்கொண்டார். சுமார் 40 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் நிலத்தை தானமாகப் பெற்றார்.
- 'என்னைவிட காந்தியத்தை சிறப்பாக உள்வாங்கிக்கொண்டவர்" என்று காந்திஜியால் புகழாரம் சூட்டப்பட்டவர். மக்களாலும், தலைவர்களாலும் 'ஆச்சார்யா" என்று போற்றப்பட்ட வினோபா பாவே 1982ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 15ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

இரோசி அமானோ - Hiroshi Amano - Japanese Physicist - Engineer - Inventor :
✒️Japanese scientist Hiroshi Amano, one of the 3 scientists who invented the LED lamp, was born on September 11, 1960 in Japan. He won the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics along with 'Isamu Akasaki' and 'Shuji Nakamura'. The Nobel Prize was awarded for the invention of a semiconductor device called an efficient blue light bulb or diode.
- LED விளக்கை கண்டுபிடித்த 3 விஞ்ஞானிகளுள் ஒருவரான ஜப்பான் நாட்டை சேர்ந்த அறிவியலாளர் இரோசி அமானோ 1960ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 11ஆம் தேதி ஜப்பானில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் 2014ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான இயற்பியல் நோபல் பரிசை இசாமு அகசகி, சுச்சி நாகமுரா ஆகியோருடன் சேர்ந்து வென்றுள்ளார்.
- இந்த நோபல் பரிசானது திறன்மிக்க நீலநிற ஒளியுமிழி அல்லது ஒளியீரி (Diode) என்னும் குறைக்கடத்தி கருவியை கண்டுபிடித்தமைக்காக வழங்கப்பட்டது.

🌟The Central Vigilance Commission Act, 2003 : It was enacted & enforced on 11th September 2003, to provide for the constitution of a Central Vigilance Commission to inquire or cause inquiries to be conducted into offences alleged to have been committed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 by certain categories of public servants of the Central Government, corporations established by or under any Central Act, Government companies, societies and local authorities owned or controlled by the Central Government and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟The British India Corporation Limited (Acquisition of Shares) Act, 1981 : It was enacted 11th September & as per Sec 1(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 11th June 1981, to provide for the acquisition of certain shares of the British India Corporation Limited with a view to securing the proper management of the affairs of the Company and the continuity and development of the production of goods which are vital to the needs of the country and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟The Export-Import Bank of India Act, 1981: It was enacted on 11th September 1981 & 1st January 1982, to establish a corporation to be known as the Export-Import Bank of India for providing financial assistance to exporters and importers, and for functioning as the principal financial institution for co-ordinating the working of institutions engaged in financing export and import of goods and services with a view to promoting the country s international trade and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟The National Highways Act, 1956 : It was enacted on 11th September 1956 & came into force on 15th April 1957, to provide for the declaration of certain highways to be national highways and for matters connected therewith.
🌟The Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933 : It was enacted on 11th September 1933 & came into force on 1st January 1934, to regulate the possession of wireless telegraphy apparatus.
🌟The Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 : It was enacted & enforced on 11th September 1958, to enable certain special powers to be conferred upon members of the armed forces in disturbed areas in the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.
