ஷாஜகான் - Shah Jahan - Emperor of the Mughal Empire :

✒️Shah Jahan, the king of the Mughal Empire in India, was born on January 5, 1592 in Lahore, Pakistan. His full name is Shihab-ud-Din Muhammad Khurram Shah Jahan. After his father's death in 1627, he ascended the throne of the Mughal Empire. And his reign is known as the Golden Age of Mughals. Among the monuments built by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal is the most famous. It was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz. A crater on the asteroid 433 Eros is named after Shah Jahan. He died on 22nd January 1666.

• இந்தியாவில் முகலாய சாம்ராஜ்ஜியத்தின் மன்னராக திகழ்ந்த ஷாஜகான் 1592ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 5ஆம் தேதி பாகிஸ்தானின் லாகூரில் பிறந்தார். இவருடைய முழுப்பெயர் ஹாபுதீன் முகமது ஷாஜகான். 1627ஆம் ஆண்டில் தன்னுடைய தந்தை இறந்ததை தொடர்ந்து இவர் முகலாய பேரரசின் மன்னராக அரியணை ஏறினார். மேலும் இவருடைய ஆட்சி முகலாயர்களின் பொற்காலம் என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. ஷாஜகான் எழுப்பியுள்ள நினைவுச்சின்னங்களில் தாஜ்மஹால் மிகவும் பிரபலமானது. இது இவருடைய மனைவி மும்தாஜின் நினைவாக கட்டப்பட்டது. 433 ஈரோஸ் என்ற சிறுகோள் மீதுள்ள ஒரு நிலக்குழிக்கு ஷாஜகான் நினைவாக பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவர் 1666ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 22ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

R.Krishnasamy Naidu - Freedom Fighter

ரா.கிருஷ்ணசாமி நாயுடு - R.Krishnasamy Naidu - Indian Freedom Fighter & Politician :

✒️Freedom fighter R.Krishnasamy Naidu was born on 5th January, 1902 in Pudu Ramachandrapuram village of Srivilliputhur district. He joined the Congress Mahasabha in 1922. In 1930, he took part in the civil disobedience movement, in 1940 in individual satyagraha, and in 1942 in the August movement and went to jail. He contested the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections thrice and won by a landslide. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly from 1952 to 1967 and a member of the Legislative Council from 1968 to 1973. From 1924, he held many positions in the Congress movement of the day and eventually rose to become the President of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee. He was the General Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee from 1959 to 1962 and its President from 1962 to 1967. He served as a member of the ruling party in the Legislative Assembly for 15 years. He lived till his last breath as an honest, simple and polite political leader and died on 30th October 1973.

• விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரர் ரா.கிருஷ்ணசாமி நாயுடு 1902ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 5ஆம் தேதி ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர் வட்டம் புது.ராமச்சந்திரபுரம் என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1922ஆம் ஆண்டு காங்கிரஸ் மகா சபையில் சேர்ந்தார். 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு சட்டமறுப்பு இயக்கம், 1940ஆம் ஆண்டு தனிநபர் சத்தியாக்கிரகம், 1942ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் இயக்கம் ஆகியவற்றில் கலந்துக் கொண்டு சிறைக்குச் சென்றுள்ளார். தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப் பேரவைத் தேர்தல்களில் மூன்றுமுறை போட்டியிட்டு பெரும் வெற்றி பெற்றார். 1952ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினராகவும், 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1973ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை சட்ட மேலவை உறுப்பினராகவும் இருந்தார். 1924ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து அன்றைய காங்கிரஸ் இயக்கத்தில் பல பொறுப்புகளை வகித்து இறுதியில் தமிழ்நாடு காங்கிரஸ் கமிட்டி தலைவராகவும் உயர்ந்தார். 1959ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை தமிழ்நாடு காங்கிரஸ் கமிட்டியின் பொதுச் செயலாளராகவும், 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை அதன் தலைவராகவும் இருந்தார். 15 ஆண்டுகள் சட்டப் பேரவையில் ஆளும்கட்சி உறுப்பினராகப் பதவி வகித்தார். நேர்மையான, எளிமையான, பண்பான அரசியல் தலைவராக தனது இறுதிமூச்சு வரை வாழ்ந்த இவர் 1973ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 30ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1971ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 5ஆம் தேதி உலகின்  ஒருநாள் கிரிக்கெட் போட்டி மெல்போர்னில் நடைபெற்றது - On January 5, 1971, the world's first one-day cricket match was held in Melbourne.

🌟 ஹரோல்ட் கிளேட்டன் யூரே, அமெரிக்க இயற்பியல் வேதியியலாளர், டியூட்டீரியத்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்ததற்காக 1934 இல் வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவர், டிசம்பர் 5, 1981 அன்று காலமானார் - Harold Clayton Urey, American Physical Chemist, Nobel Laureate, Won Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1934 for the discovery of deuterium, was passed away on 5th December 1981.

🌟 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 5ஆம் தேதி ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்காவின் கலிபோர்னியாவைச் சேர்ந்த வானியல் ஆராய்ச்சிக் குழுவினர் சூரியக் குடும்பத்தில் ஏரிஸ் என்ற புதிய குறுங்கோள் ஒன்றைக் கண்டுபிடித்தனர் - On January 5, 2005, astronomers from California, United States of America, discovered a new asteroid in the solar system called Eris.
