✒️UNESCO celebrates 23rd April every year as World Book and Copyright Day to protect and promote intellectual property such as reading, publishing and copyright. It was announced in 1995 when the General Conference of UNESCO was held in Paris.

✒️வாசித்தல், பதிப்பித்தல் மற்றும் பதிப்புரிமை போன்ற அறிவுசார் சொத்துக்களான இவற்றை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையிலும் அவற்றை வளர்க்கும் நோக்கத்துடனும் யுனெஸ்கோ நிறுவனம் ஆண்டுதோறும் ஏப்ரல் 23ஆம் தேதியை உலக புத்தகம் மற்றும் பதிப்புரிமை தினமாக கொண்டாடுகிறது. யுனெஸ்கோவின் பொது மாநாடு 1995ஆம் ஆண்டு பாரீஸில் நடைபெற்றபோது இத்தினம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

✒️William Shakespeare, the creator of the timeless Romeo and Juliet, was born on April 26, 1564 in London. It was the plague that raged when he was in London that caused him to create many immortal epics. He wrote a total of more than 30 plays in his 24-year literary career. A Midsummer Night's Dream‚ As You Like It‚ The Taming of the Shrew‚ The Merchant of Venice‚ Romeo and Juliet‚ Hamlet‚ Othello‚ King Lear‚ Julius Caesar‚ Antony and Cleopatra are some of his famous plays. He died on April 23, 1616, who gave us works that are still living among us today.

🌟 1644ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 23ஆம் தேதி புனித ஜார்ஜ் கோட்டை சென்னையில் கட்டப்பட்டது - Fort St.George was built in Chennai on 23rd April 1644.

🌟 1966ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 23ஆம் தேதி முதலாம் உலக தமிழாராய்ச்சி மாநாடு கோலாலம்பூரில் நிறைவடைந்தது - The First World Tamil Conference concluded on April 23, 1966 in Kuala lampur.

🌟The Payment of Wages Act, 1936 : It was enacted on 23rd April 1936 & came into force on 28th April 1937, to regulate the payment of wages of certain classes of employed persons.
