சாமுவெல் மோர்ஸ் - Samuel Finley Breese Morse - American Inventor - Painter :

✒️Samuel Morse, the inventor of single-wire telegraphy and Morse code, was born on April 27, 1791 in the United States. He is also a historical painter. His wife's death led to the invention of the telegraph. He also proved that messages could be transmitted through electricity. On May 24, 1844, he sent the world's first telegraph message from Washington, DC to Baltimore and created a revolution. Samuel Morse, who brought a new change in people's personal and public life through the telegraph, died on April 2, 1872.

✒️ஒற்றைக்கம்பி தந்தி முறை மற்றும் மோர்ஸ் தந்திக் குறிப்பு ஆகியவற்றை கண்டுபிடித்த சாமுவெல் மோர்ஸ் 1791ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 27ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்தார். இவர் வரலாற்றுக் காட்சிகளை வரையும் ஓவியரும் ஆவார். இவரது மனைவியின் மரணமே, தந்தி முறையைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க காரணமாக இருந்தது. மேலும், மின்சாரம் மூலம் செய்தியை அனுப்ப முடியும் என்பதையும் நிரூபித்தார். 1844ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 24ஆம் தேதி உலகின் முதல் தந்திச் செய்தியை வாஷிங்டன்.டிசி-லிருந்து பால்டிமோருக்கு அனுப்பி ஒரு புரட்சியை ஏற்படுத்தினார். தந்தி மூலம் மக்களின் சொந்த வாழ்விலும், பொது வாழ்விலும் புதிய மாற்றத்தை கொண்டு வந்த சாமுவெல் மோர்ஸ் 1872ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 2ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

கந்த முருகேசனார் - Kantha Murukesanar - Tamil Scholar :

✒️Kantha Murukesanar, the great Tamil scholar known as upadhyaya and the Grandfather of Tamil, was born on 27th April 1902 in Puloli South in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. Many schools were opened and not only Tamil but religion, logic, geography and mathematics were also taught here. He taught everything not only in Tamil but also in English. Such a great Tamil scholar was passed away on June 14, 1965.

✒️உபாத்தியாயர் என்றும், தமிழ்த் தாத்தா என்றும் அழைக்கப்பட்ட சிறந்த தமிழ் அறிஞர் கந்த முருகேசனார் 1902ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 27ஆம் தேதி இலங்கையின் வட மாகாணத்தில் உள்ள தென் புலோலியில் பிறந்தார். பல பள்ளிக்கூடங்களை திறந்து இங்கு தமிழ் மட்டுமன்றி சமயம், தர்க்கம், புவியியல், கணிதம் ஆகியவையும் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டன. தமிழில் மட்டுமல்லாது ஆங்கிலத்திலும் சிறந்து விளங்கிய இவரே அனைத்தையும் கற்பித்தார். இவர் 1965ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 14ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

பி.தியாகராயர் - Sir Pitti Theagaraya Chetty - Lawyer - Industrialist - Political Leader :

✒️P.Theagarayar, one of the founders of the Justice Party and the main political leader of Chennai province, was born on April 27, 1852 in Korukkupet, Chennai. He ran a magazine called Neethi. The organization was named as Justice Party after this name. Due to his selfless efforts, the Justice Party won the Madras State Legislative Assembly elections in 1921 and formed the government. Though he was offered the post of Chief Minister, he refused it and made someone else take charge. He died on 28 April 1925.

✒️நீதிக்கட்சி நிறுவனர்களில் முக்கியமானவரும், சென்னை மாகாணத்தின் முக்கிய அரசியல் தலைவராக விளங்கியவருமான பி.தியாகராயர் 1852ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 27ஆம் தேதி சென்னை கொருக்குப்பேட்டையில் பிறந்தார். 1882ஆம் ஆண்டு சென்னை உள்நாட்டினர் சங்கம் (சென்னை மகாஜன சபை) என்ற அமைப்பை தொடங்கினார். இந்த அமைப்பு சார்பில் நீதி என்ற இதழை நடத்தினார். இதன் பெயரைக் கொண்டே இந்த அமைப்பு நீதிக்கட்சி எனக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டது. இவரது தன்னலமற்ற முயற்சியால், 1921ஆம் ஆண்டு சென்னை மாநில சட்டப்பேரவை தேர்தலில் நீதிக்கட்சி வெற்றி பெற்று ஆட்சி அமைத்தது. முதல்வர் பதவி இவரைத் தேடி வந்தாலும் அதை மறுத்து வேறு ஒருவரை பொறுப்பேற்கச் செய்தார். இவர் 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 28ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
