உலக ஹீமோபிலியா தினம் - World Hemophilia Day :

✒️World Haemophilia Day is observed on 17th April every year. Hemophilia is caused by a genetic defect and this disease occurs when the 'X' chromosome is affected. Sufferers of this disease tend to bleed continuously when injured. Blood does not clot. This disease occurs only in men. This day is observed to create awareness about the disease.

✒️உலக ஹீமோபிலியா தினம் (அ) உலக இரத்த உறையாமை தினம் ஏப்ரல் 17ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. மரபணுக்களில் ஏற்படும் பாதிப்பு காரணமாக ஹீமோபிலியா நோய் உண்டாகிறது. அதாவது எக்ஸ் குரோமோசோம் பாதிக்கப்படும்போது இந்த நோய் ஏற்படுகிறது. இந்த நோயினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டோருக்கு காயம் ஏற்பட்டால் இரத்தக்கசிவு இருந்துக்கொண்டே இருக்கும். இரத்தம் உறையாது. இந்த நோய் ஆண்களுக்கு மட்டுமே ஏற்படும். இந்த நோய் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவே இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

Dheeran Chinnamalai - Freedom Fighter

தீரன் சின்னமலை - Dheeran Chinnamalai - Freedom Fighter :

✒️Dheeran Chinnamalai, who fought against the East India Company for India's freedom, was born on April 17, 1756 at Melapalayam near Kangeyam in Erode district. His original name was Theerthagiri. His area was under the rule of Hyder Ali, the king of Mysore, and when the tax money was being given to the Mysore government through Sangakiri, he once seized the tax money and gave it to the poor. He told the servant who carried the tax, 'Go and tell the king that Chinnamalai, which is between Chennimalai and Shivanmalai, has been taken.' He built a fort in a town called Odanilai and trained the youth in warfare. He also made many weapons. Chinnamalai was victorious in the wars of 1801 and 1804. Knowing that he could not be defeated by war, the British government executed him through intrigue. Dheeran Chinnamalai, who dedicated his life for the liberation of his native land, died on 31st July 1805.

✒️இந்திய விடுதலைக்காக கிழக்கிந்திய கம்பெனியை எதிர்த்து போரிட்ட தீரன் சின்னமலை  1756ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 17ஆம் தேதி ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் காங்கேயம் அருகில் மேலப்பாளையத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் இயற்பெயர் தீர்த்தகிரி. இவர் இருந்த பகுதி மைசூர் மன்னர் ஹைதர் அலி ஆட்சியின் கீழ் இருந்ததால் வரிப்பணம் சங்ககிரி வழியாக மைசூர் அரசுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டு வந்தபோது, ஒருமுறை இவர் வரிப்பணத்தை கைப்பற்றி ஏழைகளிடம் கொடுத்தார். வரி கொண்டு சென்ற ஊழியரிடம் 'சென்னிமலைக்கும், சிவன்மலைக்கும் இடையே இருக்கும் சின்னமலை பறித்ததாக மன்னரிடம் போய்ச் சொல்" என்று கூறினார். அப்போதிலிருந்து, 'சின்னமலை" என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார். இவர் ஓடாநிலை என்ற ஊரில் கோட்டை கட்டி இளைஞர்களுக்கு போர்ப்பயிற்சி அளித்தார். பல ஆயுதங்களையும் தயாரித்தார். 1801, 1804-ல் நடந்த போர்களில் சின்னமலை பெரும் வெற்றி பெற்றார். இவரை போரிட்டு வெல்ல முடியாது என்பதை அறிந்த ஆங்கிலேய அரசு சூழ்ச்சி மூலம் இவரை தூக்கிலிட்டது. பிறந்த மண்ணின் விடுதலைக்காக வாழ்வையே அர்ப்பணித்த தீரன் சின்னமலை 1805ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 31ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

டாக்டர் ராதாகிருஷ்ணன் - Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan - Former President of India - Philosopher - Teacher (served as the second president of India from 1962 to 1967) :

✒️Today is his Memorial Day! 

✒️Dr.Radhakrishnan, Former President of India and Philosopher, was born on 5th September 1888 in a village called Sarvapalli near Tiruttani. In order to honor him, his birthday, September 5, is celebrated as "Teachers' Day" every year. His book "Indian Philosophy" was published in 1923 and It is hailed as a masterpiece of classical philosophical literature. Apart from subjects, he also taught the students Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and Brahma Sutra. Once Gandhi looking at him and said you are like Kannan to me. As Arjuna, I want to take lessons from you. He was elected as the first Vice President of the country in 1952 held the post twice and thereafter elected as the second President of India in 1962. The country's highest award of "Bharat Ratna" was conferred in 1954. He started his career as a teacher and rose to become the President of the country and died on 17th April 1975.

✒️இன்று இவரின் நினைவு தினம் !

✒️நாட்டின் 2வது ஜனாதிபதியும், தத்துவ மேதையுமான டாக்டர் ராதாகிருஷ்ணன் 1888ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 5ஆம் தேதி திருத்தணி அருகேயுள்ள சர்வபள்ளி என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரை போற்றும் விதத்தில் செப்டம்பர் 5ஆம் தேதி ஆண்டுதோறும் ஆசிரியர் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 1923ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்திய தத்துவம் (Indian philosophy) என்ற இவரது நூல் வெளியானது. இது, பாரம்பரிய தத்துவ இலக்கியத்தின் தலைசிறந்த படைப்பாக போற்றப்படுகிறது. பாடங்கள் தவிர, உபநிடதங்கள், பகவத்கீதை, பிரம்மசூத்திரம் ஆகியவற்றையும் மாணவர்களுக்கு போதித்தார். இவரைப் பார்த்து நீங்கள் எனக்கு கண்ணன் மாதிரி. நான் அர்ஜுனனாக உங்களிடம் பாடம் கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன் என்றாராம் காந்தி. நாட்டின் முதல் துணை குடியரசுத் தலைவராக 1952ஆம் ஆண்டு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். நாட்டின் இரண்டாவது ஜனாதிபதியாக 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை பதவி வகித்தார். இவருக்கு நாட்டின் உயரிய பாரத ரத்னா விருது 1954ஆம் ஆண்டு வழங்கப்பட்டது. ஆசிரியராகப் பணியைத் தொடங்கி, நாட்டின் குடியரசுத் தலைவராக உயர்ந்த இவர் 1975ஆம் ஆண்டு, ஏப்ரல் 17ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟"சின்னக்கலைவாணர்" என்று அழைக்கப்படும், தமிழகத் திரைப்பட நகைச்சுவை நடிகர் "பத்ம ஸ்ரீ" விவேக், 2021ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 17ந் தேதி மறைந்தார் - Tamil film comedian "Padma Shri" Vivek, known as "Chinnakalaivanar", passed away on April 17, 2021.
