Sir C.V.Raman - Renowned Physicist

சர்.சி.வி.இராமன் - Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman - Renowned Indian Physicist :

✒️Today Sir C.V.Raman's Memorial Day!

✒️Sir Chandrasekara Venkata Raman, the world renowned Indian science genius was born on 7th November 1888 in Thiruvanaikaval, Trichy district, Tamilnadu, India and died on 21st November 1970. He discovered the wavelength change that occurs in scattered light waves when light penetrates an object. The Raman effect is the name given to the wavelength change of such scattered light. He was awarded the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics for this discovery. This is the first time that a person educated only in India has won the Nobel Prize.

• இன்று இவரின் நினைவு தினம் !

• உலகம் போற்றும் இந்திய அறிவியல் மேதை சர் சந்திரசேகர வெங்கட ராமன் 1888ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 7ஆம் தேதி திருச்சி மாவட்டத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர், ஒளி ஒரு பொருளில் ஊருவிச் செல்லும் பொழுது சிதறும் ஒளியலைகளில் ஏற்படும் அலைநீள மாற்றத்தை கண்டுபிடித்தார். இப்படிச் சிதறும் ஒளியின் அலைநீள மாற்றத்திற்கு இராமன் விளைவு(Raman Effect) என்று பெயர். இக்கண்டுபிடிப்புக்குத் தான் இவருக்கு 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு இயற்பியல் துறைக்கான நோபல் பரிசு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்தியாவில் மட்டுமே படித்த ஒருவர் நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றது அதுவே முதல் முறை.

• பெரும் புகழ்பெற்ற இந்திய அறிவியல் அறிஞர் சர்.சி.வி.இராமன் 1970ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

உலக தொலைக்காட்சி தினம் - World Television Day :

✒️World Television Day is celebrated on 21st November every year. It talks about the importance of television. It was announced by the United Nations on the recommendation of the International Television Conference held on November 21, 1996. Accordingly, World Television Day was celebrated for the first time on November 21, 1997.

• உலக தொலைக்காட்சி தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இத்தினத்தில் தொலைக்காட்சியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை பற்றி எடுத்துச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

• 1996ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி நடைபெற்ற அனைத்துலக தொலைக்காட்சி கருத்தரங்கின் பரிந்துரையின்படி ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை இத்தினத்தை அறிவித்தது. அதன்படி 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி முதன் முறையாக உலக தொலைக்காட்சி தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

உலக மீனவர்கள் தினம் - World Fisheries Day :

✒️On November 21, 1997, representatives of fishermen from 40 countries discussed in Delhi with a view to find a permanent solution to the industrial problems faced by fishermen in the sea. At that time, they formed an organization called Fishermen's Council to fight for the rights of fishermen worldwide. In order to solve the problems of fishermen, 21st November was declared as World Fishermen's Day.

• கடலில் மீனவர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் தொழில் சார்ந்த பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு நிரந்தரத் தீர்வு காணும் நோக்கில் 40 நாடுகளின் மீனவப் பிரதிநிதிகள் 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி டெல்லியில் விவாதித்தனர்.

• அப்போது உலகளவில் இணைந்து மீனவர்களின் உரிமைக்குக் குரல் கொடுத்துப் போராடுவதற்காக மீன்பிடி தொழிலாளர்கள் பேரவை என்ற அமைப்பை உருவாக்கினர். இதன்மூலம் மீனவர்களின் பிரச்சனைகளுக்குத் தீர்வு காண நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி உலக மீனவர்கள் தினமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

உலக ஹலோ தினம் - World Hello Day :

✒️In 1973, both Egypt and Israel ended the war between them. After the end of the war, both countries said 'Hello' on 21st November. World Hello Day is celebrated on 21st November with the aim of encouraging everyone to work towards world peace.

• 1973ஆம் ஆண்டு எகிப்து மற்றும் இஸ்ரேல் ஆகிய இரு நாடுகளும் தங்களுக்கிடையே நடைபெற்ற போரினை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டு வந்தது. இத்தினத்தில் போர் முடிவுக்கு வந்ததையடுத்து, நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி இரு நாடுகளும் ஹலோ சொல்லிக்கொண்டனர். ஒவ்வொருவரும் உலக அமைதிக்கான முயற்சியில் ஈடுபட வேண்டும் என்பதை நோக்கமாக கொண்டு உலக ஹலோ தினம் நவம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
