தத்தாத்திரேய ராமச்சந்திர பேந்திரே - Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre (D.R.Bendre) - Poet :

✒️Kannada poet D.R.Bendre with the special name "Varakavi" was born on January 31, 1896 at Dharwad in Karnataka state. His birth name was Dattathreya Ramachandra Bendre. He also wrote several books under the pen name Ambikathanayadatta. The meaning of this name is Datta, son of Ambika. He also has the name Karnataka kavikula Tilaka. He wrote poetry in spoken style. His songs contain references to folk beliefs and mythology. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1958, the Padma Shri Award in 1968 and the JnanPith Award in 1973. He died on October 26, 1981, a recipient of the JnanPith Award, a prestigious literary award in India.

• வரகவி என்ற சிறப்பு பெயர் கொண்ட கன்னடக் கவிஞர் த.ரா.பேந்திரே 1896ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 31ஆம் தேதி கர்நாடக மாநிலத்திலுள்ள தார்வாடு என்ற இடத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவருடைய இயற்பெயர் தத்தாத்திரேய ராமச்சந்திர பேந்திரே ஆகும். மேலும் இவர் அம்பிகாதனயதத்தா என்ற புனைப்பெயரில் பல நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். இந்த பெயரின் அர்த்தம் அம்பிகாவின் மகன் தத்தன் என்பதாகும். இவருக்கு கர்நாடக குல திலகம் என்ற பெயரும் உண்டு. இவர் பேச்சு நடையிலேயே கவிதைகளை எழுதினார். இவரது பாடல்களில் நாட்டுப்புற நம்பிக்கைகள், புராணக் கதைகள் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றிய குறிப்புகள் இருக்கும். இவருக்கு 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருதும், 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு பத்மஸ்ரீ விருதும், 1973ஆம் ஆண்டு ஞானபீட விருதும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் இலக்கியத்துக்காக வழங்கப்படும் ஒரு உயரிய விருதான ஞானபீட விருது பெற்ற இவர் 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 26ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

நாகேஷ் - Nagesh - Indian Actor :

✒️Today is Nagesh's memorial day!

✒️Nagesh, who has achieved many achievements in comedy and character acting in Tamil films, was born on 27th September 1933 in Tarapuram, Tirupur district. He entered the film industry in 1958. He appeared in the lead comic role in Sridhar's film "Kadhalikka Neramillai" and it became a huge hit. He was awarded Kalaimamani Award in 1974. The Tamil Nadu government awarded him the best comedian award for his performance in the film Nammavar. He passed away on January 31, 2009, who made a unique mark in the comedy scenes of Tamil cinema.

• தமிழ் திரைப்படத்தில் நகைச்சுவையிலும், குணச்சித்திர நடிப்பிலும் பல சாதனைகள் படைத்த பெருமைக்குரியவருமான நாகேஷ் 1933ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 27ஆம் தேதி திருப்பூர் மாவட்டம் தாராபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு திரைப்படத்துறையில் கால் பதித்தார். ஸ்ரீதரின் காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை திரைப்படத்தில் முக்கிய நகைச்சுவைப் கதா பாத்திரத்தில் தோன்றினார். அது மிகவும் வெற்றிப் படமாக அமைந்தது. இவருக்கு 1974ஆம் ஆண்டு கலைமாமணி விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. நம்மவர் படத்தில் நடித்ததற்காக தமிழக அரசு இவருக்கு, சிறந்த நகைச்சுவை நடிகருக்கான விருது வழங்கியது. தமிழ் திரையுலக நகைச்சுவைக் காட்சிகளில் தனி முத்திரை பதித்த இவர் 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 31ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
