M.k.Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar - Famous Actor

✒️Today is his memorial day!

✒️Actor M.K.Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar, who is very popular in the hearts of Tamil fans, was born on 1st March, 1910 in Mayavaram (now Mayiladuthurai) in Tamil Nadu. He staged a stage concert at the age of 16. The 4-hour long concert was well received by music lovers. Mridanga Vidwan Pudukkottai Dakshinamurthy Pillai eulogized at the ceremony saying 'Thiyagarajan is a Bhagavathar'. After that the title was added to his name. Acted as Arjuna (1926) in 'Pavalakkodi' play in Trichy. The play was made into a film of the same name (1934). His 1944 film 'Haridas' ran for 3 consecutive years at the Chennai Broadway Theater and created the record of '3 Diwali Seen Film'. Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar, hailed as Tamil film industry's first superstar actor, passed away on 1st November, 1959.

• தமிழ் ரசிகர்கள் மனதில் நீங்கா இடம்பிடித்த நடிகர் எம்.கே.தியாகராஜ பாகவதர் 1910ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 1ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள மாயவரத்தில் (தற்பொழுது மயிலாடுதுறை) பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் தன்னுடைய 16வது வயதில் மேடைக் கச்சேரியை அரங்கேற்றினார். 4 மணி நேரம் நடந்த அந்த கச்சேரி பலரது பாராட்டுகளை பெற்றது. 'தியாகராஜன் ஒரு பாகவதர்" என்று விழாவில் மிருதங்க வித்வான் புதுக்கோட்டை தட்சிணாமூர்த்தி பிள்ளை புகழாரம் சூட்டினார். அதன் பிறகு இவரது பெயருடன் அந்த பட்டமும் சேர்ந்துகொண்டது.

• திருச்சியில் நடந்த பவளக்கொடி நாடகத்தில் அர்ஜுனனாக (1926) நடித்தார். அந்த நாடகம் அதே பெயரில் திரைப்படமாக (1934) வந்தது.

• 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த இவரது 'ஹரிதாஸ்" திரைப்படம் சென்னை பிராட்வே திரையரங்கில் 3 ஆண்டுகள் தொடர்ச்சியாக ஓடி, '3 தீபாவளி கண்ட திரைப்படம்" என்ற சாதனையைப் படைத்தது.

• தமிழ் திரைப்படத்துறையின் முதல் நட்சத்திர அந்தஸ்து பெற்ற உயர் நட்சத்திர கதாநாயகனாக போற்றப்பட்ட தியாகராஜ பாகவதர் 1959ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

Alfred Lothar Wegener - Geophysicist & Meteorologist

ஆல்ஃபிரெட் வெஜனர் - Alfred Lothar Wegener - German polar researcher - Geophysicist -  Meteorologist :

✒️Alfred Wegener, who formulated the theory of continental drift, was born on November 1, 1880 in Berlin, Germany. He was very interested in the study of atmosphere and changes in Earth's climate. From 1906 he traveled to Greenland for 2 years for research on polar climate. He has done this trip a total of 4 times. He published his theory of continental drift in 1912. This was later referred to as 'continental drift'. He published his famous article called The Origin of Continents and Oceans in 1915, in which he published his extensive research on the once connected continents. He discovered many theories till the end of his life and died in 1930.

• கண்டங்களின் பெயர்ச்சி பற்றிய கோட்பாடுகளை வகுத்த ஆல்ஃபிரெட் வெஜனர் 1880ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி ஜெர்மனி தலைநகர் பெர்லினில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் வளிமண்டலம், பூமியின் காலநிலை மாற்றங்கள் போன்ற ஆய்வுகளில் அதிகம் ஆர்வம் காட்டினார். துருவ காலநிலை குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சிகளுக்காக கிரீன்லாந்தில் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 2 ஆண்டுகாலத்திற்கு பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார். இவ்வாறு மொத்தம் 4 முறை இப்பயணத்தை இவர் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

• கண்டங்களின் இடப்பெயர்ச்சி என்ற தனது கோட்பாட்டை 1912ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிட்டார். இதுதான் பிற்காலத்தில் 'கண்டப் பெயர்ச்சி" எனக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டது. தி ஆரிஜின் ஆஃப் கான்டினன்ட்ஸ் அண்ட் ஓஷன்ஸ் என்ற தனது பிரபலமான கட்டுரையை 1915ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிட்டார். கண்டங்கள் ஒரு காலத்தில் இணைந்திருந்தது பற்றிய தனது விரிவான ஆராய்ச்சி முடிவுகளை இதில் வெளியிட்டார்.

• வாழ்நாளின் இறுதிக்காலம் வரை பல கோட்பாடுகளை கண்டறிந்த இவர் 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார்.

🌟1974ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் வி.வி.எஸ்.லக்ஷ்மண் ஹைதராபாத்தில் பிறந்தார் - Indian cricketer VVS Laxman was born on 1st November 1974 in Hyderabad.

🌟1954ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி புதுச்சேரி, பிரெஞ்சு ஆதிக்கத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற்று இந்தியாவுடன் இணைந்தது - On November 1, 1954, Pondicherry freed Independence from French rule and annexed India.

🌟1956ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி கன்னியாகுமரி, கேரள மாநிலத்தில் இருந்து பிரிந்து தமிழ்நாடு மாநிலத்துடன் புதிய மாவட்டமாக இணைக்கப்பட்டது - Kanyakumari was separated from the state of Kerala on November 1, 1956 and merged with the state of Tamil Nadu as a new district.

🌟1956ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவில் மைசூர், கேரளம், தமிழ்நாடு ஆகிய மாநிலங்கள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டன - On November 1, 1956, the states of Mysore, Kerala and Tamil Nadu were formed in India.

🌟1973ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி மைசூர் மாநிலம் கர்நாடகா என பெயர் மாற்றப்பட்டது - Mysore State was renamed as Karnataka on November 1, 1973.

🌟1956ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி நிசாம் என அழைக்கப்பட்ட பகுதி ஆந்திர மாநிலமாக்கப்பட்டது - On November 1, 1956, the area known as Nizam was made the state of Andhra Pradesh.
