உலக மனித உரிமைகள் தினம் - Human Rights Day :
✒️World Human Rights Day is observed on 10th December every year, since 1950. This day was declared by the UN General Assembly in 1948. Human right is the right of an individual to live in freedom and dignity throughout their lifetime. Hence, observing this day is to people should not be discriminated against on the basis of caste, religion, race, colour, language and country.
- உலக மனித உரிமைகள் தினம் டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஐ.நா.பொதுச்சபை 1948ஆம் ஆண்டு இத்தினத்தை பிரகடனப்படுத்தியது. மனிதர்களை சாதி, மதம், இனம், நிறம், மொழி, நாடு என்கிற பாகுபாடு காட்டி வேறுபடுத்தக்கூடாது. தனி மனிதன் சுதந்திரமாகவும், கௌரவமாகவும் தலை நிமிர்ந்து வாழ்வதற்கு வகை செய்வதே மனித உரிமையாகும். இத்தினம் 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
சர்வதேச விலங்குகள் உரிமைகள் தினம் - International Animal Rights Day :
✒️International Animal Rights Day is observed on 10th December. Animals cannot fight for animal rights. In order to protect the welfare of animals, it is observed that humans should fight for their rights.
- சர்வதேச விலங்குகள் உரிமைகள் தினம் டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. விலங்குகளின் உரிமைக்காக விலங்குகள் போராட முடியாது. விலங்குகளின் நலன் காக்க அவைகளின் உரிமைக்காக மனிதர்கள்தான் போராட வேண்டும் என விலங்குகளின் நலன் கருதி இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
நோபல் பரிசு விழா - Nobel Prize Award Ceremony :
✒️The Nobel Prize is awarded annually on December 10th to select outstanding individuals in the fields of physics, chemistry, literature, medicine, peace and economics. Nobel Prize is the most respected prize in the world. The prize was started in 1895 by the Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel and has been awarded since 1901. The Nobel Prize ceremony is held on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel.
- இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், இலக்கியம், மருத்துவம், அமைதி மற்றும் பொருளாதாரம் ஆகிய துறைகளில் சிறப்பானவர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து ஆண்டுதோறும் டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
- உலகளவில் பெரிதும் மதிக்கப்படும் பரிசு நோபல் பரிசாகும். சுவீடன் நாட்டு விஞ்ஞானி ஆல்பிரட் நோபல் அவர்களால் 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டு 1901ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து இப்பரிசு வழங்கப்படுகிறது. ஆல்பிரட் நோபல் நினைவு நாளான டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதியில் நோபல் பரிசு விழா நடைபெறுகிறது.

மூதறிஞர் ராஜாஜி - Rajaji (Chakravarti Rajagopalachari) - Independence Activist, India's Last Governor-General, Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Lawyer, Writer :
- சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர், வழக்கறிஞர், இந்தியாவின் கவர்னர் ஜெனரல், சென்னை மாகாண முதல்வர் என பன்முகப் பரிமாணம் கொண்ட ராஜகோபாலாச்சாரி 1878ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டம் (அன்றைய சேலம் மாவட்டம்) தொரப்பள்ளி என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் காந்திஜியின் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கத்தால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு விடுதலைப் போராட்ட இயக்கத்தில் இணைந்தார். மேலும் ரௌலட் சட்டத்திற்கு எதிரான போராட்டம் உள்ளிட்ட பல போராட்டங்களில் பங்கேற்றார்.
- இவர் 1917ஆம் ஆண்டு சேலம் நகராட்சி உறுப்பினராகவும், பின்னர் நகராட்சி தலைவராகவும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். 1937ஆம் ஆண்டு மதராஸ் மாகாணத்தின் பிரதான மந்திரியாகப் பொறுப்பேற்றார். 1946ஆம் ஆண்டு அமைக்கப்பட்ட இடைக்கால அரசில் தொழில், கல்வி மற்றும் நிதித்துறை அமைச்சராகப் பணியாற்றினார்.
- 1954ஆம் ஆண்டு இவருக்கு பாரத ரத்னா விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. சேலத்து மாம்பழம் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட ராஜாஜி 1972ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 25ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟The Food Corporations Act, 1964 : It was enacted on 10th December 1964 & came into force on 17th December 1964, to provide for the establishment of Food Corporations for the purpose of trading in foodgrains and other foodstuffs and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
🌟The Company Secretaries Act, 1980 : It was enacted on 10th December 1980 & came into force on 1st January 1981, to make provision for the regulation and development of the profession of Company Secretaries.
🌟 2006ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி இந்திய இயற்பியலாளரான மதன் லால் மேத்தா மறைந்தார் - Indian Physicist Madan Lal Mehta passed away on December 10, 2006.
🌟 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி இந்திய பொறியியல் அறிஞரும், கல்வியாளருமான வா.செ.குழந்தைசாமி மறைந்தார் - On December 10, 2016, Indian engineering scholar and educationist V.C.Kulandaiswamy passed away.
