சர்வதேச அனிமேஷன் தினம் - International Animation Day :
✒️International Animation Day is observed on 28th October. The day is celebrated to promote the films made in animation technology and the employees working in this sector. Further, The International Animated Film Association (ASIFA) introduced this day in 2002 to commemorate the first screening of an animated film by Charles-Emile Reynaud in one of the Grevin Museum theater in 1892.
- சர்வதேச அனிமேஷன் தினம் அக்டோபர் 28ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. அனிமேஷன் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் உருவாகும் திரைப்படங்கள் மற்றும் இத்துறையில் பணியாற்றும் ஊழியர்களை ஊக்குவிக்கும் விதமாக 'சர்வதேச அனிமேஷன் தினம்" கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
- 1892ஆம் ஆண்டு சார்லஸ் எமிலி ரெனால்ட் என்பவர் முதன்முதலில் கிரெவின் மியூசியத் திரையரங்கு ஒன்றில் அனிமேஷன் திரைப்படத்தை திரையிட்டதை நினைவுக்கூறும் விதமாக, சர்வதேச அனிமேஷன் திரைப்பட சங்கம் (International Animated Film Association- ASIFA), 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்நாளை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது.

✒️Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, a computer software expert, was born on October 28, 1955 in the city of Seattle in the United States. He continues to be one of the richest people in the world. He is the one who introduced MS-DOS operating system for IBM computers in 1981. In 1995, he co-authored the book 'The Road Ahead' with Nathan Myhrwald, a special technical officer at Microsoft, and journalist Peter Rinearson. In 1999, he published the book 'Business @ the Speed of Thought'.
- மைக்ரோசாப்ட் நிறுவனர், கணிப்பொறி மென்பொருள் வல்லுநர் பில்கேட்ஸ் 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 28ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் சியாட்டில் என்ற நகரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் உலகின் பெரும் செல்வந்தர்கள் பட்டியலில் தொடர்ந்து இருந்து வருகிறார். 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு IBM கணினிகளுக்காக MS-DOS என்ற இயங்குதளத்தை (Operating System) அறிமுகம் செய்தவர் இவர் தான்.
- 1995ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியான 'தி ரோடு அஹெட்" (The Road Ahead) என்ற புத்தகத்தை இவருடன் சேர்ந்து மைக்ரோசாப்ட்டின் சிறப்பு தொழில்நுட்ப அலுவலரான நாதன் முர்வால்டும், பீட்டர் ரிநீர்சன் என்ற பத்திரிக்கையாளரும் எழுதியுள்ளனர். 1999ஆம் ஆண்டு 'பிசினஸ் அட் தி ஸ்பீட் ஆப் தாட்" (Business @ the Speed of Thought) என்ற நூலை வெளியிட்டார்.

சகோதரி நிவேதிதா - Sister Nivedita - Irish Teacher - Author - Social Activist - School Founder - Disciple of Swami Vivekananda :
✒️Swami Vivekananda's foremost disciple and social worker, Sister Nivedita was born on 28th October, 1867 in Ireland. Her birth name was Margaret Elizabeth Noble. Once she heard a speech by Swami Vivekananda at a friend's house. Fascinated by it, she started listening to his talks frequently. She decided that he was her guru. Once Vivekananda, who was talking about the condition of Indian women, said, 'I hope you can help the women of our country to get an education.' At a time when Vande Mataram was not recognized as a national anthem, she had it sung as a morning song in his school. Bharatiyar mentioned her as his guru who was the catalyst for fighting for women's rights. Sister Nivedita died on October 13, 1911.
- சுவாமி விவேகானந்தரின் முதன்மை சீடரும், சமூக சேவகியுமான சகோதரி நிவேதிதா 1867ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 28ஆம் தேதி அயர்லாந்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் மார்கரெட் எலிசபெத் நோபிள்.
- ஒருமுறை தோழியின் வீட்டில் சுவாமி விவேகானந்தரின் உரையைக் கேட்டார். அதில் கவரப்பட்டவர், அவரது பேச்சுக்களை அடிக்கடி கேட்கத் தொடங்கினார். அவர்தான் தன் குரு என்று தீர்மானித்தார்.
- ஒரு சமயம் இந்தியப் பெண்களின் நிலை பற்றி பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்த விவேகானந்தர், 'எங்கள் தேசத்துப் பெண்கள் கல்வி பெற நீ உதவ முடியும் என நம்புகிறேன்" என்றார். இதை அரிய வாய்ப்பாகக் கருதியவர், உடனே புறப்பட்டு இந்தியா வந்தார்.
- வந்தே மாதரம் தேசியப் பாடலாக அங்கீகரிக்கப்படாத காலக்கட்டத்திலேயே அதை தன் பள்ளியில் காலை வணக்கப் பாடலாகப் பாடச் செய்தார். பெண் உரிமைக்காகப் போராடத் தூண்டுகோலாக இருந்த இவரை தன் குருவாக குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார் பாரதியார். சகோதரி நிவேதிதா 1911ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 13ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1972ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 28ஆம் தேதி முதலாவது ஏர்பஸ் ஏ300 பறக்க விடப்பட்டது - The first Airbus A300 was launched on October 28, 1972.
