Rudolf Hell - a brief overview :

✒️Rudolf Hell, inventor of the video camera tube, was born on 19th December 1901 in Germany.


✒️In 1920 he invented the Hellschreiber device, the forerunner of the fax device used to send messages from one place to another. This device was a pioneer for fax, telex and color scanner.


✒️His 'Hell Recorder' tool was so popular in the telecommunications industry that he started his own company in 1929. In 1932 he invented the tool called the Electro Mechanical Helical Scan Print System. 


✒️He has received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal of the Vienna Photographic Society. Rudolf Hell, acclaimed teacher of telecommunications was died on 11th march 2002.


✒️Hellschreiber is as yet being used today by Amateur Radio (Ham) administrators around the globe. The Feld Hell Club holds month to month challenges and gives out honors for hams who make contacts utilizing this one of a kind method of correspondence.
