சர்வதேச விளையாட்டு வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் அமைதி தினம் - International Day of Sport for Development and Peace :

✒️It is observed on 6th April to bring unity across the world through sports. Games are a tool for education. It helps promote development, peace, harmony, unity, cooperation and understanding at the local, national and international levels.

✒️விளையாட்டின் மூலம் உலகம் முழுவதும் ஒற்றுமையை ஏற்படுத்த இத்தினம் ஏப்ரல் 6ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. விளையாட்டு என்பது கல்விக்கான ஒரு கருவியாகும். இது வளர்ச்சி, அமைதி, சமாதானம், ஒற்றுமை, ஒத்துழைப்பு, புரிதல் ஆகியவற்றை உள்ளூர், நாடு மற்றும் சர்வதேச அளவில் மேம்படுத்த உதவுகிறது.

Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai - Tamil Scholar

மீனாட்சிசுந்தரம் பிள்ளை - Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai - Tamil Scholar (who was instrumental in bringing many long-forgotten works of classical Tamil literature to light) :

✒️Meenakshisundaram Pillai, hailed as "Mahavidwan", was born on 6th April 1815 in Trichy. He learned all the small literature and started writing many literatures. He was popularly known as Pillaithamiz Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai because he sang Pillaithamiz songs. He has sung many Sthala Puranas. Among those who studied with him were Tamil grandfather U.V.Swaminatha Iyer, Ghulam Kadar, Navalar and Savarirayalu Nayakar. He has wrote a book "Kulathukovai" in praise of Mayuram VedaNayagam Pillai. Thiruvavaduthurai math Ambalavana Desikar honored him with the title of Mahavidwan. Mahavidwan Meenakshisundaram Pillai, a Tamil scholar who wrote many books in Tamil in the 19th century, died on February 1, 1876.

✒️மகாவித்வான் என்று போற்றப்பட்ட மீனாட்சிசுந்தரம் பிள்ளை 1815ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 6ஆம் தேதி திருச்சியில் பிறந்தார். இவர் சிற்றிலக்கியங்கள் அனைத்தையும் கற்றுத் தேர்ந்து, பல இலக்கியங்களைப் படைக்க தொடங்கினார். பிள்ளைத்தமிழ் நூல்களைப் பாடியதால் பிள்ளைத்தமிழ் மீனாட்சி சுந்தரம் பிள்ளை என்று புகழப்பட்டார். இவர் ஏராளமான தல புராணங்களை பாடியுள்ளார். இவரிடம் பயின்றவர்களில் தமிழ் தாத்தா உ.வே.சாமிநாத ஐயர், குலாம் காதர், நாவலர், சவுரிராயலு நாயக்கர் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவர்கள். மாயூரம் வேத நாயகம் பிள்ளையை பாராட்டி குளத்துக்கோவை என்னும் நூலை இயற்றினார். திருவாவடுதுறை ஆதீனத் தலைவர் அம்பலவாண தேசிகர் இவருக்கு மகாவித்வான் என்ற பட்டத்தை அளித்துச் சிறப்பித்தார். 19ம் நூற்றாண்டில் தமிழில் அதிக நூல்களை இயற்றிய தமிழ் அறிஞர் மகாவித்வான் மீனாட்சிசுந்தரம் பிள்ளை 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 1ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 6ஆம் தேதி பல கல்விச்சாலைகளை நிறுவிய டாக்டர் அழகப்ப செட்டியார், சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம் கோட்டையூரில் பிறந்தார் - On April 6, 1909, Dr.Alagappa Chettiar, who founded many educational institutions, was born in Kottaiyur, Sivagangai district.

🌟 1938ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 6ஆம் தேதி தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதன்மை இயற்கை ஆர்வலர் கோ.நம்மாழ்வார் பிறந்தார் - Tamil Nadu's prime naturalist G.Nammazhvar was born on 6th April 1938.

🌟 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 6ஆம் தேதி நாடகதுறை சாதனைக்காக டோனி விருதுகள் முதன்முதலில் வழங்கப்பட்டது - The Tony Awards were first presented on April 6, 1947 for achievement in theatre.

🌟இயர்லி பேர்ட் என்ற முதல் தகவல் தொடர்பு செயற்கைக்கோள் ஜியோ சின்க்ரோனஸ் வட்டப்பாதையில் 1965 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 6 ஆம் தேதி அன்று நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டது - Early Bird, the first communication satellite, was launched into geosynchronous orbit on 6 April 1965.
