உலக சமூக நீதி தினம் - World Social Justice Day:

✒️World Social Justice Day is celebrated on 20th February every year. The main purpose of celebrating this day includes raising voice against social injustice and promoting social justice, including efforts to address issues such as poverty, exclusion, gender inequality, unemployment, etc.

✒️உலக சமூக நீதி தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பிப்ரவரி 20ஆம் தேதியன்று கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இந்த தினத்தை கொண்டாடுவதன் முக்கிய நோக்கம் சமூக அநீதிக்கு எதிராக குரல் எழுப்புவது மற்றும் சமூக நீதியை மேம்படுத்துதல், வறுமை, ஒதுக்கல், பாலின சமத்துவமின்மை, வேலையின்மை, போன்ற பிரச்சினைகளை தீர்க்கும் முயற்சிகள் உட்பட அடங்கும்.

கா.நமச்சிவாயம் - C.R.Namasivaya Mudaliar - Tamil Scholar :

✒️The great Tamil scholar, poet and Tamil professor C.R.Namasivaya Mudaliar was born on February 20, 1876 in Kaveripakkam, Tamilnadu. At an early age, he learned the books of Nalvazhi, Nanneri, Neethineri Vilakkam, Viveka Cinthamani. Later, he joined the teaching profession and did not teach in the class full time. It is his custom to reserve the last ten or fifteen minutes for analyzing world affairs with the students and they ask questions and he answers them. In those days Vidwan titles were awarded only to Sanskrit scholars. Therefore, he suggested to the government to give the title of Vidwan to those who have learned Tamil grammar and literature. The government accepted his idea and implemented it. Until 1905, students were forced to read textbooks written by English scholars. He himself wrote Tamil textbooks to overcome the deficiency. He has written plays such as Prithivirajan, Keesagan, Desingurajan and Janagan. He also wrote 10 plays under the name Natakamanjari. He has written texts for legal texts such as Athichudi, Vakkundam, Nalvazhi etc. C.R.Namachivayam, who wrote prose books in a simple style, was passed away on March 13, 1936.

✒️சிறந்த தமிழறிஞர், புலவர், தமிழ் பேராசிரியரான கா.நமச்சிவாயம் 1876ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 20ஆம் தேதி வேலூர் மாவட்டம் காவேரிப்பாக்கத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் சிறுவயதிலேயே நல்வழி, நன்னெறி, நீதிநெறி விளக்கம், விவேக சிந்தாமணி ஆகிய நூல்களை கற்றுத் தேர்ந்தார். பின்பு ஆசிரியர் பணியில் சேர்ந்த இவர், வகுப்பில் முழு நேரமும் பாடம் நடத்த மாட்டார். உலக விவகாரங்களை அலசுவதற்காக கடைசி பத்து, பதினைந்து நிமிடங்கள் ஒதுக்குவது இவரது வழக்கம். மாணவர்கள் கேள்வி கேட்க, இவர் பதில் கூறுவார். அந்த நாட்களில் வித்வான் பட்டங்கள் சமஸ்கிருத அறிஞர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே வழங்கப்பட்டன. அதனால் தமிழ் இலக்கண, இலக்கியங்கள் கற்றவர்களுக்கும் வித்வான் பட்டம் அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அரசுக்கு பரிந்துரை செய்தார். இவரது கருத்தை அரசு ஏற்று அதை செயல்படுத்தியது. 1905ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை மாணவர்கள் ஆங்கில அறிஞர்கள் எழுதிய பாடநூல்களையே படிக்கவேண்டிய கட்டாயம் இருந்தது. அக்குறையை போக்க இவரே தமிழ் பாட நூல்களை எழுதினார். பிருதிவிராஜன், கீசகன், தேசிங்குராஜன், ஜனகன் ஆகிய நாடகங்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். நாடகமஞ்சரி என்ற பெயரில் 10 நாடகங்களையும் எழுதினார். இவர் ஆத்திச்சூடி, வாக்குண்டாம், நல்வழி முதலான நீதி நூல்களுக்கு உரை எழுதியுள்ளார். எளிய நடையில் உரைநடை நூல்களை எழுதிய கா.நமச்சிவாயம் 1936ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 13ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟பிப்ரவரி 20, 1962 இல், ஜான் க்ளென் பூமியை மூன்று முறை சுற்றி வந்த முதல் அமெரிக்கர் ஆனார் - On February 20, 1962, John Glenn became the first American to circumnavigate the earth three times.

🌟பிப்ரவரி 20, 1987 அன்று, மிசோரம் மற்றும் அருணாச்சலப் பிரதேசம் இந்தியாவின் 23வது மற்றும் 24வது மாநிலங்கள் ஆனது - On 20 February 1987, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh became the 23rd and 24th states of India.

Robert Peary - Explorer

🌟வட துருவத்தை அடைந்த முதல் நபரான அமெரிக்க ஆய்வாளர் மற்றும் கடற்படை கேப்டன் ராபர்ட் பியரி பிப்ரவரி 20, 1920 அன்று மறைந்தார் - American explorer and Navy Captain Robert Peary, the first person to reach the North Pole, died on February 20, 1920.
