மொரார்ஜி தேசாய் - Morarji Desai, Independence activist, Politician & 6th Prime Minister of India :

✒️Morarji Desai, India's freedom fighter, former and sixth Prime Minister of India, was born on 29th February 1896 in Gujarat. Morarji Desai was an example of honesty in politics and purity in public life. He quit his ICS post and joined the Indian freedom struggle and spent years in jail for the liberation of the country. He is the only recipient of the country's highest award 'Bharat Ratna' and Pakistan's highest award 'Nishan-e-Pakistan'. He passed away on April 10, 1995 at the age of 99.

✒️இந்தியாவின் விடுதலை போராட்ட வீரரும், முன்னாள் மற்றும் இந்தியாவின் ஆறாவது பிரதமரான மொரார்ஜி தேசாய், குஜராத்தில் 1896ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 29ல்  பிறந்தார். அரசியலில் நேர்மைக்கும், பொதுவாழ்வில் தூய்மைக்கும் உதாரணமாக இருந்தவர் மொரார்ஜி தேசாய். தனது ICS பதவியை உதறிவிட்டு இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கெடுத்தவர், நாட்டின் விடுதலைக்காக பல ஆண்டுகளை சிறையில் கழித்தவர். இவர் மட்டுமே நாட்டின் உயரிய விருதான ‘பாரத ரத்னா‘வையும் பாகிஸ்தானின் உயரிய விருதான ‘நிசான்-இ-பாகிஸ்தானையும்’ பெற்றவர். இவர் 1995ஆம் ஆண்டு, ஏப்ரல் 10ந் தேதி, தனது 99 வது வயதில் காலமானார்.

🌟பிரபல நாட்டியக் கலைஞரும், சென்னை கலாச்சேத்திராவை நிறுவியவரும், விலங்குகள் நல ஆர்வலருமான ருக்மணி அருண்டேல்,  1904ஆம் ஆண்டு, பிப்ரவரி 29ந் தேதியன்று (இன்று) பிறந்தார் - Rukmini Arundale, famous dancer, founder of Chennai Kalakshetra and animal welfare activist, was born on February 29, 1904 (today).

🌟ஆங்கிலக் கவிஞரும் சுருக்கெழுத்து முறையைக் கண்டுபிடித்தவருமான ஜான் பைரோம், பிப்ரவரி 29, 1692 அன்று இங்கிலாந்தின் மான்செஸ்டரில் பிறந்தார் - John Byrom, English poet and inventor of the shorthand system, was born on February 29, 1692 in Manchester, England.
