Devaneya Pavanar - Linguist

தேவநேயப் பாவாணர் - Devaneya Pavanar - Tamil Scholar :

✒️Devaneya Pavanar, a Tamil scholar who is hailed as a linguist, was born on 7th February 1902 in Tamilnadu. His first book was published in 1925, titled "Siruvar Paadal Thirattu" (Collection of Children's Songs). He has written more than 40 books and more than 150 research articles. He learned the grammars of 17 languages ​​including Indian languages ​​Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit and foreign languages ​​English, French, Latin and Greek. He was the first director of the Tamil Etymological Project of the Tamil Nadu Government in 1974. He said 'Tamil is the first language of the world and the first man in the world was a Tamilian. Further he said, 'Tamil is the mother of Dravidian languages'. Devaneya Pavanar, who devoted himself fully to Tamil, passed away on January 15, 1981.

• மொழிஞாயிறு என்று போற்றப்படும் தமிழறிஞர் தேவநேயப் பாவாணர் 1902ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 7ஆம் தேதி திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம் சங்கரன்கோவிலில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் இயற்பெயர் தேவநேசன். 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு சிறுவர் பாடல் திரட்டு என்ற இவரது முதல் நூல் வெளிவந்தது. இவர் 40-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நூல்கள், 150-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆராய்ச்சி கட்டுரைகளை எழுதியுள்ளார். தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, மலையாளம், கன்னடம், இந்தி, சமஸ்கிருதம் ஆகிய இந்திய மொழிகள், ஆங்கிலம், பிரெஞ்சு, லத்தீன், கிரேக்கம் ஆகிய வெளிநாட்டு மொழிகள் உட்பட 17 மொழிகளின் இலக்கணங்களைக் கற்றவர். இவர் 1974ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழக அரசின் செந்தமிழ் சொற்பிறப்பியல் அகரமுதலித் திட்டத்தின் (Tamil Etymological Project) முதல் இயக்குநராகப் பொறுப்பேற்று முத்திரை பதித்தவர். இவர் 'உலகத்தின் முதல் மொழி தமிழ். உலகின் முதல் மனிதன் தமிழன்", 'தமிழ் திராவிட மொழிகளுக்கு தாய்" என்று கூறியவர். தமிழுக்காக தன்னை முழுமையாக அர்ப்பணித்துக்கொண்ட தேவநேயப் பாவாணர் 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு, ஜனவரி 15ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

ஜி.ஹெச்.ஹார்டி - Godfrey Harold Hardy - English Mathematician :

✒️G.H.Hardy, who introduced the world to mathematician Ramanujan, was born on February 7, 1877 in Surrey, England. At the age of 2, he was able to write numbers up to a million. Along with mathematician J.E.Littlewood, he carried out various studies for 35 years. Published many articles. He received a letter from Indian mathematician Ramanujan. Seeing that, he understood Ramanujan's intelligence. He was his mentor. Hardy-Ramanujan Asymptotic Formula published by both of them. The formula is very popular. A novel titled 'The Indian Clerk' was published in 2007, compiling his life and friendship with Ramanujan. He has received many awards including Royal Medal, Sylvester Medal, Copley Medal. G.H.Hardy, one of the world's greatest mathematicians, died on December 1, 1947.

• கணிதமேதை ராமானுஜனை உலகுக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்த ஜி.ஹெச்.ஹார்டி 1877ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 7ஆம் தேதி இங்கிலாந்தின் சர்ரே பகுதியில் பிறந்தார். 2 வயதிலேயே, மில்லியன் வரை எண்களை எழுதும் அளவிற்கு ஆற்றல் பெற்றிருந்தார். ஜே.இ.லிட்டில்வுட் என்ற கணிதவியலாளருடன் இணைந்து, 35 ஆண்டுகாலம் பல்வேறு ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொண்டார். ஏராளமான கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிட்டார். இந்திய கணிதமேதை ராமானுஜனிடம் இருந்து இவருக்கு ஒரு கடிதம் வந்தது. அதை பார்த்ததுமே, ராமானுஜனின் அறிவாற்றலைப் புரிந்துகொண்டார். அவருக்கு வழிகாட்டியாக விளங்கினார். இருவரும் இணைந்து ஆய்வுகள் மேற்கொண்டு வெளியிட்ட 'ஹார்டி - ராமானுஜன் அசிம்டாடிக்" சூத்திரம் மிகவும் பிரபலமானது. இவரது வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் ராமானுஜனுடனான நட்பு ஆகியவற்றை தொகுத்து 'தி இந்தியன் கிளார்க்" என்ற நாவல் 2007ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்தது. இவர் ராயல் மெடல், சில்வெஸ்டர் மெடல், காப்ளே மெடல் உட்பட ஏராளமான விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். உலகின் தலைசிறந்த கணிதமேதைகளில் ஒருவரான ஜி.ஹெச்.ஹார்டி 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு, டிசம்பர் 1ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
