தேசிய வாசிப்பு தினம் - National Reading Day :

✒️National Reading Day is celebrated in India on June 19 to honor P.N.Panicker, who is considered the father of the reading and library movement. Since 1996, his memorial day, June 19, has been observed as "Reading Day" in Kerala. In India, since 2017, this day has been celebrated as National Reading Day.

✒️வாசிப்பு மற்றும் நூலக இயக்கத்தின் தந்தையாக கருதப்படும் பி.என்.பணிக்கரை கௌரவிக்கும் வகையில் இந்தியாவில் ஜூன் 19ந் தேதியன்று தேசிய வாசிப்பு தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 1996ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் அவரது நினைவு தினமான ஜுன் 19ந் தேதியை கேரளாவில் "வாசிப்பு நாளாக" அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்தியாவில் 2017ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல், இத்தினத்தை தேசிய வாசிப்பு நாளாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

✒️World Sauntering Day is celebrated on June 19 every year. The purpose of this day is to remind people to take it easy and enjoy life without rushing.

✒️உலக சாண்டரிங் தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 19ந் தேதியன்று கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. அவசரப்படாமல் வாழ்க்கையை நிதானமாக அனுபவிக்க மக்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டுவதே இந்நாளின் நோக்கம்.

Salman Rushdie - Renowned Novelist

சல்மான் ருஷ்டி - Ahmed Salman Rushdie - Indian-Born British-American Novelist - Essayist :

✒️World famous Novelist Sir Ahmed Salman Rushdie was born on 19th June 1947 in Mumbai. His novel 'Midnight's Children', released in 1981, became world famous and won the Booker Prize. He creates his works in the Indian environment. He published 'The Satanic Verses' in 1988. He was awarded a Knighthood in 2007 for services to literature. 'The Times' ranked him 13th among the 50 greatest writers since 1945. In 2005, his novel 'Shalimar the Clown' won India's prestigious 'Hutch Crossword Book' award.

✒️உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற புதின எழுத்தாளர் சர் அகமது சல்மான் ருஷ்டி 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 19ஆம் தேதி மும்பையில் பிறந்தார். 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த இவரது 'மிட்நைட்ஸ் சில்ட்ரன்" (Midnight's Children) புதினம் உலகளவில் பிரபலமாகி, புக்கர் பரிசை (Booker Prize) வென்றது. இவர் இந்தியச் சூழலில் தனது படைப்புகளை உருவாக்குபவர். 1988ஆம் ஆண்டு இவர் 'தி சாத்தானிக் வெர்சஸ்" (The Satanic Verses) என்ற நூலை வெளியிட்டார். இவருக்கு இலக்கிய சேவைகளுக்காக 2007ஆம் ஆண்டு (Knight Bachelor) என்ற 'சர்" பட்டம் வழங்கப்பட்டது. 1945ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குப் பிறகு உள்ள 50 தலைசிறந்த எழுத்தாளர்கள் வரிசையில் இவருக்கு 13வது இடத்தை 'தி டைம்ஸ்" (The Times) நாளிதழ் வழங்கியது. 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு இவரது 'ஷாலிமார் தி கிளவுன்" (Shalimar the Clown) நாவலுக்கு இந்தியாவின் மதிப்புமிக்க 'ஹட்ச் கிராஸ்வேர்டு புக்" (Hutch Crossword Book) விருது கிடைத்தது.

Blaise Pascal - Mathematician

பிளேஸ் பாஸ்கல் - Blaise Pascal - French Mathematician - Physicist - Inventor - Philosopher - Writer - Child Prodigy - Catholic Theologian :

✒️World famous mathematician Blaise Pascal was born on June 19, 1623 in Clermont, France. He is extremely interested in mathematics. He made many laws about triangles. At the age of 16, he wrote a long essay on conics (Essay on Conics) in his first research paper. The new theorem he described in it is still used today as Pascal's theorem. In 1642, he built an accounting machine to help his father in keeping office accounts. Also, he developed the first adding computer. Discovered probability theory, Pascal's law, law of fluid dynamics. The SI unit of pressure is named pascal in his honor. Blaise Pascal died on August 19, 1662, who persevered with his self-confidence.

✒️உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற கணிதவியலாளர் பிளேஸ் பாஸ்கல் 1623ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 19ஆம் தேதி பிரான்ஸின் கிளர்மான்ட் நகரில் பிறந்தார். இவர் கணிதத்தில் அளவுகடந்த ஆர்வம் உடையவர். முக்கோணங்கள் குறித்து பல விதிகளை உருவாக்கினார். தனது 16வது வயதில் முதல் ஆராய்ச்சி நூலில் கூம்பு வெட்டுகளைப் (Essay on Conics) பற்றி ஒரு நீண்ட கட்டுரை எழுதினார். அதில் அவர் விவரித்த புதிய தேற்றம், பாஸ்கல் தேற்றம் என்று தற்போதும் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. 1642ஆம் ஆண்டு தந்தைக்கு அலுவலக கணக்கு போடுவதற்கு உதவியாக, கணக்கு போடும் இயந்திரத்தை உருவாக்கி தந்தார். மேலும், இவர் முதல் கூட்டல் கணினியை உருவாக்கினார். நிகழ்தகவு கோட்பாடு, பாஸ்கல் விதி, பாய்ம இயக்கவியல் விதி ஆகியவற்றை கண்டறிந்தார். இவர் நினைவாக இவரைப் பெருமைப்படுத்தும் விதமாக அழுத்தத்தின் SI அலகிற்கு பாஸ்கல் எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. தனது தன்னம்பிக்கையால் விடாமுயற்சியுடன் சாதனை படைத்த பிளேஸ் பாஸ்கல் 1662ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1993ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 19ஆம் தேதி இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற பிரித்தானிய நாவலாசிரியர் வில்லியம் கோல்டிங் மறைந்தார் - The British Novelist William Golding, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, was died on June 19, 1993.
