✒️Famous violinist M.S.Gopalakrishnan was born on 10 June 1931 in Mylapore, Chennai. He staged his first concert at the age of eight. He has played violin for many leading singers. Conducted solo violin concerts for 50 years. He introduced a new style called Paarur-MSG style. He has received many awards like Padma Bhushan, Padma shri, Kalaimamani, Sangita Kalanidhi, Sangeetha Kalasikhamani, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, T.Choudayya Award, Violinist Samrat, Violinist Chakraborty, Sapthagiri Sangeetha Vidwanmani. M.S.Gopalakrishnan, fondly called as 'MSG' by music lovers, passed away on January 3, 2013, after conducting concerts all over the world.
✒️பிரபல வயலின் கலைஞர் எம்.எஸ்.கோபாலகிருஷ்ணன் 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 10ஆம் தேதி சென்னையில் உள்ள மயிலாப்பூரில் பிறந்தார். இவர் தனது எட்டு வயதில், முதல் கச்சேரியை அரங்கேற்றினார். பல முன்னணி பாடகர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வயலின் வாசித்துள்ளார். தனி வயலின் கச்சேரிகளை 50 ஆண்டுகாலம் நடத்தி வந்தார். இவர் பாரூர் - எம்எஸ்ஜி ஸ்டைல் என்ற புதிய பாணியை அறிமுகம் செய்தார். பத்ம பூஷண், பத்மஸ்ரீ, கலைமாமணி, சங்கீத கலாநிதி, சங்கீத கலாசிகாமணி, கேரள சங்கீத நாடக அகாடமி விருது, டி.சௌடையா விருது, வயலின் வாத்திய சாம்ராட், வயலின் வாத்திய சக்ரவர்த்தி, சப்தகிரி சங்கீத வித்வமணி போன்ற பல விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். உலகம் முழுவதும் இசைக் கச்சேரிகளை நடத்தி இசைப் பிரியர்களால் 'எம்எஸ்ஜி" என பாசத்துடன் அழைக்கப்பட்ட எம்.எஸ்.கோபாலகிருஷ்ணன் 2013ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 3ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

✒️The pioneer of the Tamil Nadu Library Department, Ve.Thillainayagam was born on June 10, 1925 in Chinnamanur, Theni district. He received his library training in 1949 with the help of the government and became the first librarian to run the public education department. He retired in 1982 after serving as the director of the library department for 10 consecutive years in the same department and turning it into a golden age of the Tamil Nadu library movement. He was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the World University in 1982 for his book 'Indhiya Noolaga iyakkam' (Indian Library Movement). He has written some books including 'Vethiyam 1008' in Tamil. Many of his books have won the Tamil Nadu Government First Prize. The father of the Tamil Nadu Public Library Movement, Ve.thillainayagam passed away on March 11, 2013.
✒️தமிழக நூலகத்துறையின் முன்னோடி வே.தில்லைநாயகம் 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 10ஆம் தேதி தேனி மாவட்டம் சின்னமனூரில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு அரசு உதவியுடன் நூலகப் பயிற்சி பெற்று, பொதுக்கல்வித்துறை இயக்க முதல் நூலகரானார். ஒரே துறையில் தொடர்ந்து 10 ஆண்டுகளாக நூலகத்துறை இயக்குநராக பதவி வகித்து, தமிழக நூலக இயக்கத்தின் பொற்காலமாக மாற்றிய இவர் 1982ஆம் ஆண்டு ஓய்வு பெற்றார். இவர் எழுதிய 'இந்திய நூலக இயக்கம்" என்ற நூலுக்காக உலக பல்கலைக்கழகம் 1982ஆம் ஆண்டு கௌரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கியது. தமிழில் 'வேதியம் 1008" உட்பட சில நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். இவரது பல நூல்கள் தமிழக அரசின் முதல் பரிசை பெற்றவை. தமிழக பொது நூலக இயக்கத்தின் தந்தை வே.தில்லைநாயகம் 2013ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 11ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
