✒️This festival is celebrated annually on the first Thursday of May. This day is celebrated to encourage the use of secure password i.e. password that no one can guess among internet users all over the world. (This year falls on 7th May).

சத்யஜித் ரே - Satyajit Ray - Indian Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Documentary Filmmaker, Author, Essayist, Lyricist, Magazine Editor, Illustrator, Calligrapher, Music Composer, Nobel Laureate :
✒️Indian film genius Satyajit Ray was born on May 2, 1921 in Kolkata. He became famous for drawing covers of novels by Jawaharlal Nehru and Bhupathi Bhushan. In 1947 Ray formed the Calcutta Film Society with Chidananda Das Gupta and others. Then he released the film "Pather Panchaali" in 1955, which was revolving around him as an epic. The film established him as a world-class director. After that all his works including Aparajito, Apur Sansar, Devi, Mahanagar, Charulata, Teen Kanya became world famous. He won a special Oscar in 1992 for his film work and first Indian to received such award. Also, in 1992, he received India's highest award, the Bharat Ratna. Hailed as an unparalleled director who turned the world's attention to Indian films, Satyajit Ray passed away on 23rd April 1992.
✒️இந்திய திரையுலக மேதை சத்யஜித் ரே 1921ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 2ஆம் தேதி கொல்கத்தாவில் பிறந்தார். இவர் ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு, பூபதி பூஷண் ஆகியோரின் நாவல்களில் அட்டைப் படம் வரைந்ததன் மூலம் புகழ்பெற்றார். 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு சித்தானந்தா தாஸ் குப்தாவுடனும், மற்றவர்களுடனும் இணைந்து ரே கல்கத்தா பிலிம் சொசைட்டியை உருவாக்கினார். பிறகு தனக்குள் காவியமாக சுழன்றுகொண்டிருந்த பதேர் பாஞ்சாலி திரைப்படத்தை 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிட்டார். உலக அளவில் தலைசிறந்த இயக்குநராக இவரை இத்திரைப்படம் அடையாளம் காட்டியது. அதன் பிறகு அபராஜிதோ, அபுர் சன்சார், தேவி, மஹாநகர், சாருலதா, தீன் கன்யா உள்ளிட்ட இவரது எல்லாப் படைப்புகளுமே உலக அளவில் புகழ்பெற்றன. தன்னுடைய திரைப்படப் பணிக்காக 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு சிறப்பு ஆஸ்கார் விருது பெற்றார். இவ்விருதை பெற்ற முதல் இந்தியரும் இவரே. மேலும், 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவின் உயரிய விருதான பாரத ரத்னாவை பெற்றார். இந்திய திரைப்படங்களின் மீது உலகின் கவனத்தை திருப்பிய இணையற்ற இயக்குநராகப் போற்றப்பட்ட சத்யஜித் ரே 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 23ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
லியானார்டோ டா வின்சி - Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci - Italian Polymath, Painter, Draughtsman, Engineer, Scientist, Theorist, Sculptor, Architect :
✒️Today is Leonardo da Vinci's Memorial Day, who painted the world famous Mona Lisa, was born on April 15, 1452 in Florence, Italy. He designed and built military equipment including chemical fumes and armored vehicles. He also designed many machines. He started his world-famous painting 'The Last Supper' in 1490 and completed it in 1498. He started painting the famous Mona Lisa in 1503 and completed it in three years. His imaginations ranged from airplanes and submarines to what a child would look like in the womb. Leonardo da Vinci, a world-renowned artist and multifaceted genius, died on May 2, 1519.
✒️ இன்று உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற மோனலிசா ஓவியத்தை வரைந்த லியானார்டோ டா வின்சியின் நினைவு தினம், இவர் 1452ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 15ஆம் தேதி இத்தாலியின் ஃபிளாரன்ஸ் நகரில் பிறந்தார். இவர் வேதிப் புகை, கவச வாகனங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட ராணுவத் தளவாடங்களை வடிவமைத்து உருவாக்கினார். மேலும், பல இயந்திரங்களையும் வடிவமைத்துள்ளார். உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற தனது 'தி லாஸ்ட் சப்பர்" (The Last Supper) ஓவியத்தை 1490ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையத் தொடங்கி, 1498ஆம் ஆண்டு நிறைவு செய்தார். 1503ஆம் ஆண்டு புகழ்பெற்ற மோனலிசா வண்ண ஓவியத்தைத் தீட்டத் தொடங்கி, மூன்றாண்டுகளில் அதை நிறைவு செய்தார். இவர் மேலும் நீர்க் கடிகாரம் ஒன்றையும் உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். விமானம், நீர்மூழ்கிக் கப்பல் தொடங்கி கருவில் குழந்தை எப்படி இருக்கும் என்பதுவரை இவரது கற்பனைகள் விரிந்திருந்தது. உலகம் போற்றும் உயர்ந்த கலைஞரும், பன்முகத்திறன் வாய்ந்த மேதையுமான லியானார்டோ டா வின்சி 1519ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 2ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟2008ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 2ந் தேதி, சூறாவளி நர்கீஸ், மியன்மாரில் தரை தட்டியதில் 138,000 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர் - On May 2, 2008, Cyclone Nargis made landfall in Myanmar, killing 138,000 people.
🌟2011ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 2ந் தேதி, ஒசாமா பின்லேடன், அல் காயிதா அமைப்பைத் தோற்றுவித்த சவூதி அரேபியர், மறைந்தார் (கொல்லப்பட்டார்) - On May 2, 2011, Osama bin Laden, the Saudi founder of Al-Qaeda, died (Killed).
