தேசிய பெண் குழந்தைகள் தினம் - National Girl Child Day :
✒️January 24th is observed as National Girl Child Day in India to protect the welfare of the girl child. Late Prime Minister Smt.Indira Gandhi took office as the first woman Prime Minister of india on 24th January 1966, that day has been observed as National Girl Child Day since 2009.
- இந்தியாவில் பெண் குழந்தைகளின் நலனை காக்கும் விதமாக ஜனவரி 24ஆம் தேதி தேசிய பெண் குழந்தைகள் தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. மறைந்த பிரதமர் திருமதி. இந்திரா காந்தி அவர்கள் 1966ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 24ஆம் தேதி நம் நாட்டின் முதல் பெண் பிரதமராக பதவி ஏற்றார். அந்த நாள் 2009ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து தேசிய பெண் குழந்தைகள் தினமாக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
தேசிய கீதம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட தினம் - Today (January 24, 1950) 'Jana Gana Mana' adopted as the National Anthem of India, by the Constituent Assembly :
✒️The National Anthem (Jana Gana Mana) composed by Tagore was sung for the first time in 1911 at the Indian National Congress Conference in Calcutta. Only 3 years after independence, i.e. on 24 January 1950, this song was officially declared as the National Anthem of India by the Government of India.
- தாகூர் அவர்களால் இயற்றப்பட்ட தேசிய கீதம் (ஜன கண மன) முதன்முறையாக 1911ஆம் ஆண்டு கல்கத்தாவில் நடந்த இந்திய தேசியக் காங்கிரஸ் மாநாட்டில் பாடப்பட்டது. சுதந்திரமடைந்து 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பின்னரே, அதாவது 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 24ஆம் தேதி இப்பாடல் இந்தியாவின் தேசிய கீதமாக இந்திய அரசால் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

சி.பி.முத்தம்மா - C.B.Muthamma (India's first woman to clear the Indian Civil Services examinations & first Woman IFS Officer and Ambassador :
✒️C.B.Muthamma, the first female officer to pass the Indian Civil Service Examination, was born on 24th January 1924 in Virajpet, Karnataka. She joined the service in 1949 as the first female Foreign Service officer. She found that there was discrimination between male and female officers and separate rules were mentioned in the law section and she felt that such laws are unconstitutional. Hence, she filed a case in the Supreme Court to end this gender discrimination. Justice Krishna Iyar, who heard the case, declared that these provisions were unconstitutional and ruled that she was eligible for promotion in all respects. This historic judgment provided an opportunity to revise the law (https://indiankanoon.org/doc/1339558/). She also hold the post of Indian Ambassador to Netherlands. She retired in 1982 after 33 years of government service. She passed away on 14th October 2009.
- இந்திய சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வில் வெற்றி பெற்ற முதல் பெண் அதிகாரி சி.பி.முத்தம்மா 1924ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 24ஆம் தேதி கர்நாடக மாநிலம் விராஜ்பேட்டையில் பிறந்தார். இவர் முதல் பெண் வெளியுறவுத்துறை அதிகாரியாக 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு பணியில் சேர்ந்தார். ஆண், பெண் அதிகாரிகள் இடையே பாகுபாடு, தனித்தனி விதிமுறைகள் என சட்டப் பிரிவில் கூறப்பட்டிருந்தது. இதுபோன்ற சட்டங்கள் அரசியல் சாசனத்துக்கு எதிரானவை. இந்த பாலினப் பாகுபாடுகள் களையப்பட வேண்டும் என்று உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தார் முத்தம்மா. வழக்கை விசாரித்த நீதிபதி கிருஷ்ணய்யர் இந்த விதிகள் அரசியல் சாசனத்துக்கு முரண்பட்டது என்று அறிவித்து, இவர் பதவி உயர்வுக்கு எல்லா வகையிலும் தகுதியானவர் என்றும் தீர்ப்பு கூறினார். வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த இந்த தீர்ப்பு சட்டத்தை திருத்தி எழுத ஒரு வாய்ப்பாக அமைந்தது (https://indiankanoon.org/doc/1339558/). நெதர்லாந்து நாட்டின் இந்திய தூதராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். 33 ஆண்டு அரசுப் பணிக்குப் பிறகு, 1982ஆம் ஆண்டு ஓய்வு பெற்றார். இவர் 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 14ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
ஹோமி ஜஹாங்கீர் பாபா - Homi J. Bhabha - Indian Nuclear Physicist :
✒️Today is Homi Jehangir Bhabha's Memorial Day, the father of Indian Atomic Science, was born on October 30, 1909 in Mumbai. After completing his studies in 1932, he continued his research at Cambridge University. In 1934 he received his Ph.D. He researched quantum theory with Niels Bohr and cosmic rays with Walter Heinrich Heitler. He was awarded Padma Bhushan, India's highest award in 1954. In order to commemorate his rare contribution forever, Mumbai Atomic Research Center was named Bhabha Atomic Research Center from 1967. He was instrumental in setting up the Atomic Energy Commission and the Department of Atomic Energy. He became the first Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India. Due to this, India's first nuclear reactor started operating in 1956 at Trombay near Mumbai. It also holds the distinction of being Asia's first nuclear reactor. Homi Jahangir Bhaba passed away on 24th January (today)1966.

- இந்திய அணுசக்தியின் தந்தை, ஹோமி ஜஹாங்கீர் பாபா 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 30ஆம் தேதி மும்பையில் பிறந்தார். இவர் நீல்ஸ் போருடன் இணைந்து குவாண்டம் கோட்பாடு ஆராய்ச்சியும், வால்டர் ஹைட்லருடன் இணைந்து காஸ்மிக் கதிர்கள் பற்றியும் ஆராய்ச்சிகள் செய்துள்ளார். இவருக்கு பாரதத்தின் உயர் விருதான பத்ம பூஷண் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது (1954). இவரது அரிய தொண்டு என்றென்றும் நினைவுக்கூறப்பட வேண்டுமென்ற எண்ணத்தில்தான் மும்பை அணுசக்தி ஆராய்ச்சி மையம், 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் பாபா அணுசக்தி ஆராய்ச்சி மையம் (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டது. அணுசக்தி ஆணையம், அணுசக்தி துறை ஆகியவற்றை அமைப்பதில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்தார். இந்திய அணுசக்தி ஆணையத்தின் முதல் தலைவராக பொறுப்பேற்றார். இதன் காரணமாக இந்தியாவின் முதல் அணு உலை, 1956ஆம் ஆண்டு மும்பை அருகில் உள்ள டிராம்பேயில் செயல்படத் தொடங்கியது. இது ஆசியாவின் முதல் அணு உலை (அப்சரா) என்ற பெருமையையும் பெற்றுள்ளது. ஹோமி ஜஹாங்கீர் பாபா 1966ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 24ந் தேதி (இன்று) மறைந்தார்.

🌟வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற இஸ்ரேலியர் டேன் செட்சுமன் 1941ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 24ஆம் தேதி பிறந்தார் - Israeli Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Dan Shechtman was born on January 24, 1941.
