ஓய்வூதியர் தினம் - Pensioners' Day :

✒️Pensioner's Day is celebrated on 17th December every year in India. This day is celebrated every year by pensioners in India to commemorate the historic 1982 judgment of the Supreme Court of India on pensions of retired government employees.

• இந்தியாவில் ஆண்டுதோறும் டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி ஓய்வூதியர் தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 1982ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்திய உச்சநீதிமன்றம், அரசுத்துறைகளில் பணிபுரிந்து பணி ஓய்வு பெற்ற அரசு அலுவலர்களின் ஓய்வூதியம் குறித்து வழங்கிய வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க தீர்ப்பினை நினைவுக்கூறும் வகையில், இத்தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஓய்வூதியர்களால் இந்தியாவில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

Willard Frank Libby - Scientist

வில்லார்ட் ஃபிராங்க் லிப்பி - Willard Frank Libby - American Physical Chemist :

✒️American physicist Willard Frank Libby was born on 17th December 1908, in the Grand Valley, Colorado. He is best known for his contribution to the development of the radiocarbon dating system, which revolutionized the field of archeology. He has received the Elliott Cresson Medal (1957), the Willard Gibbs Prize (1958), the Albert Einstein Prize (1959), and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1960). He was died due to lung complication on 8th September 1980.

• அமெரிக்க இயற்பிய வேதியியலாளர் வில்லார்ட் ஃபிராங்க் லிப்பி 1908ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி கொலராடோவிலுள்ள கிராண்ட் பள்ளத்தாக்கு (Grand Valley) என்னுமிடத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• தொல்லியல் துறையில் புரட்சிகரமான மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்கிய கதிரியக்கக்கரிமக் காலக்கணிப்பு (Radiocarbon Dating) முறையின் வளர்ச்சியில் இவர் அளித்த பங்களிப்பு காரணமாக இவர் புகழ் பெற்றார்.

• இவர் எலியட் க்ரெஸ்ஸான் பதக்கம் (1957), வில்லார்ட் கிப்ஸ் பரிசு (1958), ஆல்பர்ட் ஐன்ஸ்டீன் விருது (1959), வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு (1960) போன்ற பரிசுகளையும், விருதுகளையும் பெற்றுள்ளார். இவர் 1980ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 8ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟The Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 : It was enacted on 17th December 2002 & as per Sec 1(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st June, 2002, to regulate securitisation and reconstruction of financial assets and enforcement of security interest and to provide for a Central database of security interests created on property rights, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

🌟The Metro Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002 : It was enacted on 17th December 2002 & as per Sec 1(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 29th October, 2002, to provide for the operation and maintenance and to regulate the working of the metro railway in the National Capital Region, metropolitan city and metropolitan area and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

🌟உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற ஜெர்மானிய இசை மேதை லுடுவிக் வான் பேத்தோவன் 1770ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி ஜெர்மனியிலுள்ள பான் நகரில் பிறந்தார் - The world renowned German musical genius Ludwig Van Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany on 1770, December 17.

🌟 1797ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி ஜோசப் ஹென்றி அமெரிக்காவின் நியூயார்க் நகரில் பிறந்தார். இவரது பெயராலேயே மின்தூண்டலுக்கான சர்வதேச அலகு 'ஹென்றி அலகு" என குறிக்கப்படுகிறது - Joseph Henry was born on December 17, 1797 in New York City, USA. The international unit of induction is named 'Henry unit' after him.

🌟 1903ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி ரைட் சகோதரர்கள் முதன்முதலில் 12 விநாடிகள் எஞ்சின் உந்தும் ரைட் பிளையர் என்ற விமானத்தில் பறந்து சாதனை படைத்தனர் - On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers made the first 12-second engine-powered Wright Flyer flight record.

🌟வில்லியம் தாம்சன் (லார்ட் கெல்வின்), பிரிட்டிஷ் கணிதவியலாளர், இயற்பியலாளர், பொறியாளர் மற்றும் சிறந்த விஞ்ஞானிகளில் ஒருவரானவர், 1907 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17 ஆம் தேதி காலமானார் - William Thomson (Lord Kelvin), British mathematician, physicist, engineer and one of the greatest scientists, died on 17th December 1907.

🌟கோவாவை இந்தியா, போர்ச்சுகலிடம் இருந்து, 1961ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி கைப்பற்றியது - India acquired Goa from Portugal on 17th December 1961.

🌟பிரேசிலில் முதலாவது பொதுத்தேர்தல் 25 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பின்னர், 1989ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 17ஆம் தேதி இடம்பெற்றது - The first general election was held in Brazil after 25 years, on 17, December 1989.
