தேசிய கடற்படை தினம் - Navy Day :
✒️Most of India's border lies along the coast. India is a country surrounded by sea on three sides. Thus, the Indian Navy plays an important role in protecting the country from enemies. That apart, in the year 1971, the war between India and Pakistan was called 'Operation Trident' occurred on December 4. In this, the Indian Navy attacked Pakistan's port city of Karachi. As a result, India won the war. Hence, 4th December is observed as National Navy Day.
- இந்திய எல்லையின் பெரும்பகுதி கடற்கரையில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இந்தியா, மூன்று பக்கம் கடலால் சூழப்பட்டுள்ள நாடு. இதனால், நாட்டை எதிரிகளிடம் இருந்து பாதுகாப்பதில், இந்திய கடற்படை முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது.
- 1971ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவுக்கும், பாகிஸ்தானுக்கும் இடையே 'ஆபரேஷன் டிரிடென்ட்" என்ற பெயரில் டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி போர் நடந்தது. இதில் இந்திய கடற்படை, பாகிஸ்தானின் துறைமுக நகரான கராச்சி மீது தாக்குதல் நடத்தியது. இதன் விளைவாக, போரில் இந்தியா வெற்றி பெற்றது. இதை நினைவுப்படுத்தும் விதமாகவும், இந்திய வீரர்களின் தியாகங்களை நினைவுக்கூறும் வகையில் கடற்படை சார்பில், டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி தேசிய கடற்படை தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

ஆர்.வெங்கட்ராமன் - Ramaswamy Venkataraman - Former President of India - Independence Activist - Lawyer :
✒️Former President of India R.Venkataraman was born on 4th December 1910 in Rajamadam village in Tanjur district. His birth name was Ramaswamy Venkataraman. He was involved in the 'Quit India Movement' (1942) and was arrested. Later he started the Labour Law Journal (1949). He also served as the Defense Minister of India in 1983. He brought missile projects to the Indian Army. He has also received awards such as 'Tamra Patra' and the 'Soviet Land' award of Russia for his book Kamaraj's Travels with Socialist Countries, etc. R.Venkataraman, a true patriot, lawyer, consummate worker and truly concerned for the progress of the country passed away on 27th January 2009.
- சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசு தலைவர் ஆர்.வெங்கட்ராமன் 1910ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டத்தில் பட்டுக்கோட்டைக்கு அருகிலுள்ள ராஜாமடம் என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவருடைய இயற்பெயர் ராமசாமி வெங்கட்ராமன்.
- இவர் 'வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கத்தில்" (1942) ஈடுபட்டு கைது செய்யப்பட்டார். பின்பு இவர் லேபர் லா ஜர்னல் (1949) என்னும் இதழைத் தொடங்கினார்.
- 1983ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்திய பாதுகாப்புத்துறை அமைச்சராகவும் பணியாற்றினார். இந்திய ராணுவ துறையில் ஏவுகணை திட்டப்பணிகளை கொண்டு வந்தார்.
- சமூக அறிவியல் மருத்துவ பட்டம், தாமரைப் பட்டயம் போன்ற விருதுகளையும் மேலும் இவர் எழுதிய சோவியத் நாடுகளுடன் காமராஜரின் பயணம் என்ற நூலுக்கு ரஷ்யாவின் 'சோவியத் லேண்ட்" என்ற விருதும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- உண்மையான தேசபக்தரும், வழக்கறிஞரும், சிறந்த பணியாளரும் மற்றும் நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்தில் உண்மையான அக்கறை கொண்டவருமான ஆர்.வெங்கட்ராமன் 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார்.

ஐ.கே.குஜரால் - Inder Kumar Gujral, Former Prime Minister of India - Independence Activist :
✒️Former Prime Minister of India Inder Kumar Gujral (I.K.Gujral) was born on 4th December 1919 in Punjab. He took an active part in the Indian freedom struggle and took part in the 1942 Quit India Movement. In 1971, he was transferred from the Information and Broadcasting Cabinet as the Planning Minister. Later he was appointed as the Indian ambassador to the Soviet Union. He served as the Prime Minister of India from 21 April 1997 to 19 March 1998. He passed away on November 30, 2012.
- இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் பிரதமர் இந்திர குமார் குஜரால் 1919ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி பஞ்சாபில் பிறந்தார்.
- இந்திய சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் தீவிரமாக பங்கேற்ற இவர் 1942ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு போராட்டத்தில் பங்கு கொண்டார். இவர் 1971ஆம் ஆண்டு தகவல் மற்றும் ஒளிபரப்புத்துறை அமைச்சரவையிலிருந்து, திட்டத்துறை அமைச்சராக மாற்றப்பட்டார். பின்பு சோவியத் ஒன்றியத்திற்கான இந்திய தூதுவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- இவர் 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 21ஆம் தேதியில் இருந்து 1998ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 19ஆம் தேதி வரை இந்திய பிரதமராக பதவி வகித்தார். இவர் 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 30ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 2014ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவின் உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக பணியாற்றி ஓய்வு பெற்ற வி.ஆர்.கிருஷ்ணய்யர் மறைந்தார் - On December 4, 2014, V.R.Krishna Iyer, who retired as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India, was passed away.

🌟 1898ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி ஒளிச்சிதறல் விளைவுகளில் சர்.சி.வி.இராமன் உடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய சர் கரியமாணிக்கம் சீனிவாச கிருஷ்ணன் பிறந்தார் - Sir Kariamanikkam Srinivasa Krishnan, Indian Physicist, co-discoverer of Raman scattering, was born on 4th December 1898.
🌟 ஆங்கிலேய இயற்பியலாளர் மற்றும் கண்டுபிடிப்பாளரான வில்லியம் ஸ்டர்ஜன், முதல் நடைமுறை பிரிட்டிஷ் மின்சார மோட்டாரைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார், அவர் டிசம்பர் 4, 1850 அன்று காலமானார் - William Sturgeon, English Physicist & Inventor, invented the first practical British electric motor, was passed away on 4th December 1850.
