உலக நகர திட்டமிடல் தினம் - World Urbanism Day (World Town Planning Day) :
✒️World Town Planning Day is observed on 8th November. It emphasizes that while building a city, one should plan for the future. The institution for this subject was founded in 1949 by Professor Carlos Maria della Paolera.
- உலக நகர திட்டமிடல் தினம் நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஒரு நகரத்தை உருவாக்கும்போது, எதிர்காலத்திற்கு ஏற்ப திட்டமிட வேண்டும் என்பதை இத்தினம் வலியுறுத்துகிறது. இத்தினத்திற்கான அமைப்பு 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு பேராசிரியர் கார்லோஸ் மரியா டெல்லா பலேரா என்பவரால் நிறுவப்பட்டது.

✒️International Radiology Day is observed on 8th November every year to bring to the public the excellence of medical imaging in today's modern medicine and also the commemoration of discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Röntgen on 8th November, 1895. this day has been observed from 2012.
- இன்றைய நவீன மருத்துவத்துறையில் மருத்துவப் படிமவியலின் சிறப்பினை பொதுமக்களுக்கு எடுத்துச் சொல்ல ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச கதிரியக்கவியல் தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- மேலும் வில்ஹெம் ராண்ட்ஜன் என்பவர் 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி எக்ஸ்-கதிர்களை கண்டுபிடித்தார். எக்ஸ்-கதிர்களை கண்டுபிடித்த தினத்தின் நினைவாக 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

வீரமாமுனிவர் - Constantine Joseph Beschi (Veeramamunivar) - Italian Jesuit Priest - Missionary in South India - Tamil Language Litterateur :
✒️Veeramamunivar @ Constantine Joseph Beschi was a great Tamil scholar born on 8th November 1680 in Italy. Because of his love for Tamil he has changed his name from Constantine Joseph Beschi to Dhairiyanathan. Later he came to know that it was also Sanskrit and changed it to Veeramamunivar. In Tamil he has created grammar, literature, and dictionary. He translated Thirukkural into Latin and published Devaram, Thiruppukaz, Nannul and Aathichudi in various European languages. In his book Thonnool, he has interpreted and compiled the five grammars of writing, word, meaning, syllable, and arithmetic. In his book Kodunthamil Grammar, he described spoken Tamil for the first time in Tamil. His greatest poetical work is the "Tembavani" (The Unfading Garland), one of the Tamil classics. He has written 23 books in Tamil. He died on 4th February 1747. In 1968, the State of Tamil Nadu erected a statue for Beschi on the Marina beach in the city of Chennai as a recognition for his contribution to Tamil language and literature. - மகத்தான தமிழ் அறிஞர் வீரமாமுனிவர் 1680ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி இத்தாலியில் பிறந்தார். கான்ஸ்டன்டைன் ஜோசப் பெஸ்கி என்ற தனது இயற்பெயரை முதலில் தைரியநாதன் என்று மாற்றிக் கொண்டார். பிறகு அதுவும் சமஸ்கிருதம் என்று அறிந்து வீரமாமுனிவர் என்று மாற்றிக்கொண்டார்.
- இவர் இலக்கணம், இலக்கியம், அகராதி ஆகியவற்றை படைத்தார். திருக்குறளை லத்தீன் மொழியிலும் மற்றும் தேவாரம், திருப்புகழ், நன்னூல், ஆத்திச்சூடி ஆகியவற்றை பல்வேறு ஐரோப்பிய மொழிகளிலும் மொழிப்பெயர்த்து வெளியிட்டார்.
- தொன்னூல் விளக்கம் என்ற நூலில் எழுத்து, சொல், பொருள், யாப்பு, அணி ஆகிய ஐந்து இலக்கணங்களை தொகுத்தார். கொடுந்தமிழ் இலக்கணம் என்ற நூலில், தமிழ் மொழியில் முதன்முதலாகப் பேச்சுத்தமிழை விவரித்தார்.
- இவர் இயேசு காவியமான தேம்பாவணியை இயற்றியுள்ளார். இவர் தமிழில் 23 நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். தமிழ்மொழியின் வளர்ச்சிக்கும், முன்னேற்றத்திற்கும் சிறப்பான பணிகளைச் செய்த வீரமாமுனிவர் 1747ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 4ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
- அவர் மறைவிற்குப் பின், 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு, தமிழக அரசு, தமிழ் மொழி மற்றும் இலக்கியத்திற்கு அவர் ஆற்றிய பங்களிப்பை அங்கீகரிக்கும் வகையில், சென்னை நகரின் மெரினாவில், வீரமாமுனிவரின் சிலை நிறுவப்பட்டது.

துவாரம் வெங்கடசாமி நாயுடு - Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu - Famous Violinist :
✒️Famous violinist Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu was born on 8 November 1893 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Knowing his interest in playing the violin, his elder brother became his first teacher and taught his younger brother. To develop his musical knowledge, he took him to the concerts of famous vidwans including Veene Sheshanna, Sangameswara Sastry, Konerirajapuram Vaidyanatha Iyer. Venkataswamy honed his musical knowledge by listening and practicing them. He has received awards including Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Sangeet Natak Akademi and Padma Shri. The Andhra University honored him with an honorary doctorate of 'Kala Prapoorna'. He was the first musician to receive this degree. He died on 25 November 1964.
- பிரபல வயலின் கலைஞர் துவாரம் வெங்கடசாமி நாயுடு 1893ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி கர்நாடக மாநிலம் பெங்களூரில் பிறந்தார். இவருக்கு வயலின் வாசிப்பதில் இருந்த ஆர்வத்தை அறிந்த இவரின் அண்ணன், தானே முதல் குருவாகி தம்பிக்கு கற்றுக்கொடுத்தார்.
- இவரது இசை ஞானத்தை வளர்க்க வீணை சேஷண்ணா, சங்கமேஸ்வர சாஸ்திரி, கோனேரிராஜபுரம் வைத்தியநாத ஐயர் உள்ளிட்ட பிரபல வித்வான்களின் கச்சேரிகளுக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார். அவற்றை கேட்டும், பயிற்சி செய்தும் தன் இசை ஞானத்தை பட்டை தீட்டிக்கொண்டார் வெங்கடசாமி.
- இவர் சங்கீத கலாநிதி, சங்கீத நாடக அகாடமி, பத்மஸ்ரீ உள்ளிட்ட விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். ஆந்திர பல்கலைக்கழகம் 'கலா ப்ரபூர்ண" என்ற கௌரவ முனைவர் பட்டம் வழங்கி இவரை சிறப்பித்தது. இப்பட்டம் பெற்ற முதல் இசைக்கலைஞர். இவர் 1964ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 25ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 நவம்பர் 8, 1958 இல், உலகின் முதல் உள் செயற்கை இதயமுடுக்கி பொருத்தப்பட்டது ஆர்னே லார்சன் என்ற 43 வயது நபர் ஒரு சில மணி நேரம் மட்டுமே வேலை செய்யும் பேஸ்மேக்கரைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். இருப்பினும், இதயமுடுக்கி வேலை செய்வதை நிறுத்திய பிறகு லார்சன் நீண்ட காலம் வாழ்ந்தார். அவர் 2001 இல் தனது 86 வயதில் இறந்தார் - On November 8, 1958, the world's first internal artificial pacemaker was implanted Arne Larsson, 43, has a pacemaker that only works for a few hours. However, Larsson lived long after the pacemaker stopped working. He died in 2001 at the age of 86.
