சர்வதேச போர் மற்றும் ஆயுத மோதல்களின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் சுரண்டல் தடுக்கும் தினம் - International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict :
✒️International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict is observed on 6th November every year. Nature is damaged in many ways by war and armed conflict. Crops, water poisoning, forest burning, deforestation etc. are badly affected. Apart from this many technologies are also destroyed. Therefore, the UN Council declared this day in 2001 in order not to harm the environment.
- சர்வதேச போர் மற்றும் ஆயுத மோதல்களின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் சுரண்டல் தடுக்கும் தினம் நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- போர் மற்றும் ஆயுத மோதல்களால் இயற்கை பலவிதங்களில் சேதமடைகிறது. பயிர்கள், தண்ணீர் விஷமாதல், காடுகள் எரிதல், காடுகள் அழிக்கப்படுதல் போன்ற மோசமான பாதிப்புகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன.
- இது தவிர பல தொழில்நுட்பங்களும் அழிக்கப்படுகின்றன. எனவே, சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதிக்கக்கூடாது என்பதற்காக ஐ.நா.சபை 2001ஆம் ஆண்டில் இத்தினத்தை அறிவித்தது.

ஜேம்ஸ் நெய்ஸ்மித் - James Naismith - Canadian-American Physical Educator - Sports Coach - Inventor of the game of Basketball :
✒️James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, was born on 6th November 6, 1861 in Canada. He is a Canadian sports educator and the inventor of the American football helmet. He invented the game of basketball in 1861 when he was a sports teacher in Massachusetts. In 1891, he stated the first 13 rules of basketball. 12 of these laws are still in use in some form or another today. In 1898, Naismith became a teacher at the University of Kansas and became the first basketball instructor. Later, in 1904, basketball was introduced as a trial event in the Olympic Games, and in 1936, basketball was introduced to the Olympic Games for the first time. Such a great Inventor died on 28 November 1939.
- கூடைப்பந்து கண்டுபிடிப்பாளர் ஜேம்ஸ் நெய்ஸ்மித் 1861ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி கனடாவில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் கனடா விளையாட்டு கல்வி ஆசிரியரும், அமெரிக்க கால்பந்தாட்டத்தின் தலைக்கவசத்தை கண்டுபிடித்தவரும் ஆவார். இவர் 1861ஆம் ஆண்டு மாசசூசெட்ஸில் விளையாட்டு கல்வி ஆசிரியராக இருக்கும்பொழுது கூடைப்பந்து விளையாட்டை கண்டுபிடித்தார்.
- 1891ஆம் ஆண்டு இவர் முதல் 13 கூடைப்பந்து சட்டங்களை கூறியுள்ளார். இச்சட்டங்களில் 12 இன்று வரை ஏதாவது ஒரு விதத்தில் பயன்படுகின்றன. 1898ஆம் ஆண்டு நெய்ஸ்மித், கேன்சஸ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ஆசிரியராகவும், முதல் கூடைப்பந்து பயிற்றுனராகவும் பணியாற்றினார்.
- பின்னர் 1904ஆம் ஆண்டு ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகளில் சோதனை போட்டியாக அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டு, 1936ஆம் ஆண்டு ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகளில் முதன்முறையாக கூடைப்பந்து விளையாட்டு கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது. இவர் 1939ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 28ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 ஆபிரகாம் லிங்கன் அமெரிக்காவின் 16வது அதிபராக 1860ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார் - Abraham Lincoln was elected as the 16th President of the United States on November 6, 1860.
🌟 1872ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்கப் பொறியியலாளர் ஜார்ஜ் கார்டன் மீடு மறைந்தார் - American engineer George Gordon Meade passed away on November 6, 1872.
🌟தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவில் மகாத்மா காந்தி இந்திய சுரங்கத் தொழிலாளர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து போராட்டத்தில் 1913ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி கைது செய்யப்பட்டார் - Mahatma Gandhi was arrested in South Africa on 6th November 1913 while protesting with Indian miners.
🌟 புளூட்டோனியம் முதல் முறையாக, 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 6ஆம் தேதி உருவாக்கப்பட்டது - Plutonium was first created on November 6, 1944.
🌟 அன்வர் சதாத், அரசியல்வாதி, எகிப்தின் 3வது ஜனாதிபதி, நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவர் அக்டோபர் 6ஆம் தேதி 1981 அன்று காலமானார் (படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்) - Anwar Sadat, politician, 3rd president of Egypt, Nobel laureate died (assassinated) on 6 October 1981.
