உலக பருத்தி தினம் - World Cotton Day :

✒️World Cotton Day is celebrated around the world on 7th October with events to spread knowledge about cotton production and marketing to cotton farmers, researchers and all stakeholders. This phenomenon gives an impetus to the economic development of farmers and developing countries.

• பருத்தி விவசாயிகள், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் மற்றும் அனைத்து பங்குதாரர்களுக்கும் பருத்தி உற்பத்தி மற்றும் சந்தைப்படுத்தல் பற்றிய அறிவைப் பரப்பும் நிகழ்வுகளுடன் உலக பருத்தி தினம் உலகம் முழுவதும் அக்டோபர் 7ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இந்த நிகழ்வு விவசாயிகள் மற்றும் வளரும் நாடுகளின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சிக்கு ஒரு உத்வேகத்தை அளிக்கிறது.

உலக வசிப்பிட நாள் - World Habitat Day :

✒️The day is an event observed worldwide on the first Monday of October every year. This day was declared as a special day by the United Nations and was observed for the first time in 1986. The purpose of the day is to emphasize the importance of providing adequate shelter along with basic human rights in our cities. It also emphasizes the collective responsibility of reminding future generations of the need for habitat. (This year i-e 2025, It falls on 6th October)

• இந்நாளானது ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் அக்டோபர் மாதத்தின் முதல் திங்கட்கிழமை உலகம் முழுவதும் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படும் ஒரு நிகழ்வாகும். இந்நாள் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையினால் சிறப்பு நாளாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு முதன் முதலாக 1986 ஆம் ஆண்டில் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நாளின் நோக்கம் நமது நகரங்களில் அடிப்படை மனித உரிமைகளுடன் போதுமான தங்குமிட வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொடுப்பதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்துவதாகும். வாழ்விடத்தின் அவசியம் குறித்து எதிர்காலத் தலைமுறையினருக்கு ஞாபகப்படுத்தும் கூட்டுப் பொறுப்பையும் இது வலியுறுத்துகிறது. (இவ்வருடம், 2025-ல், இந்நாளானது அக்டோபர் 6 ஆம் தேதி வருகிறது).

Durgawati Devi - Freedom Fighter

துர்காவதி தேவி - Durgawati Devi - Indian Revolutionary - Freedom Fighter : 

✒️Freedom fighter Durgawati Devi was born on 7th October, 1907 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He married Bhagwati Charan Vohra of the Indian Liberation Movement and became an active member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association. Both of them spent their wealth on the freedom struggle movement. A meeting of the party was held under her chairmanship to devise a plan to avenge the death of Lala Lajpat Rai. It was decided to kill the police officer Scott who was responsible for the death of the Punjab lion. At first she wanted to undertake this task herself. But eventually Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev were entrusted with the task. Durgawati Devi, hailed as the Agni of India, passed away on 15th October, 1999.

• சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீராங்கனை துர்காவதி தேவி 1907ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 7ஆம் தேதி உத்தரப்பிரதேச மாநிலம் காஜியாபாத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• இந்திய விடுதலைப் புரட்சி இயக்கத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பகவதி சரண் வோரா என்பவரை திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டு ஹிந்துஸ்தான் சோஷலிஸ்ட் ரிபப்ளிக் கட்சியின் செயல்துடிப்பு மிக்க உறுப்பினராக மாறினார்.

• இருவரும் தங்களுக்கு கிடைத்த செல்வத்தை விடுதலைப் போராட்ட இயக்கத்திற்கு செலவழித்தனர். லாலா லஜபதி ராயின் மரணத்திற்கு பழி வாங்குவதற்கான திட்டம் தீட்ட கட்சியின் கூட்டம் இவரது தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது.

• பஞ்சாப் சிங்கத்தின் மரணத்துக்கு காரணமான காவல்துறை அதிகாரி ஸ்காட்டை கொலை செய்ய முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. முதலில் தானே இந்த பணியை மேற்கொள்ள விரும்பினார். ஆனால், இறுதியில் பகத் சிங் மற்றும் சுகதேவிடம் இந்த பணி ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.

• இந்திய அக்னி என போற்றப்பட்ட வீராங்கனையான துர்காவதி தேவி 1999ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 15ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

நீல்ஸ் போர் - Niels Henrik David Bohr - Danish Physicist & Nobel Laureate :

✒️Niels Henrik David Bohr, a pioneer in atomic structure research, was born on 7th October, 1885 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was the first to discover in 1913 that electrons orbit the nucleus of an atom. He developed the fundamental laws of atomic structure and quantum mechanics. Niels Bohr also received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922. Niels Bohr, the greatest scientist and thinker of the twentieth century, died on November 18, 1962.

• அணு அமைப்பு பற்றிய ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் முன்னோடியாக திகழ்ந்த நீல்ஸ் ஹென்றிக் டேவிட் போர் 1885ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 7ஆம் தேதி டென்மார்க் நாட்டிலுள்ள கோப்பன்ஹேகனில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் முதன்முதலாக 1913ஆம் ஆண்டு எலெக்ட்ரான்கள் அணுக்களின் உட்கருவை சுற்றி வட்டப்பாதையில் சுழலுகின்றன என்பதை கண்டறிந்தவர்.

• அணுக்களின் கட்டமைப்புக்கும், குவாண்டம் இயக்கவியலுக்கும் அடிப்படை விதிகளை உருவாக்கியவர். இதற்காக நீல்ஸ் போர் 1922ஆம் ஆண்டு இயற்பியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசினையும் பெற்றார்.

• இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் மிகச்சிறந்த அறிவியலறிஞராகவும், சிந்தனையாளராகவும் விளங்கிய நீல்ஸ் போர் 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 18ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1849ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 7ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்க எழுத்தாளர், கவிஞர், தொகுப்பாசிரியர் மற்றும் இலக்கிய விமர்சகரான எட்கர் ஆலன் போ மறைந்தார் - Edgar Allan Poe, American writer, poet, compiler and literary critic, died on October 7, 1849.
