✒️Infantry Day is observed on 27th October by the Indian Army. On this day in 1947 after independence, the infantry fought the enemy at the Kashmir Srinagar Air Base and reclaimed the Kashmir Valley. Indian Infantry Day is celebrated to honor the bravery of the infantrymen.

கே.ஆர்.நாராயணன் - K.R.Narayanan - Former President of India - Academician :

✒️Former President of India K.R.Narayanan was born on 27th October, 1920 in Uzhavoor, Kerala. He joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) when Jawaharlal Nehru was Prime Minister and served as Indian Ambassador to Japan, England, Thailand, Turkey, China and the United States. Then he entered politics in 1984 and won 3 consecutive terms as a member of Ottapalam Lok Sabha. He served as Union Minister of State in Rajiv Gandhi's cabinet. He was elected as the Vice President of India in 1992. Then he served as the President from 25th July 1997 to 25th July 2002. K.R.Narayanan who was an example of how hard work and talent can face any situation and achieve success was passed away on 9th November, 2005.

• இவர் 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவின் துணை குடியரசுத் தலைவராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். பிறகு 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 25ஆம் தேதி முதல் 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 25ஆம் தேதி வரை குடியரசுத் தலைவர் பதவி வகித்தார்.

• During his tenure he brought numerous reform programs to improve all sectors such as security, economy, transport services, food security, environmental protection and reorganized the policies of the country.
