உலக கடித தினம் - World Letter Writing Day :
✒️Letter Writing Day is celebrated globally on 1st September every year, Known as World Letter Writing Day, this day is celebrated to celebrate the practice of writing letters by hand. World Letter Day was introduced in 2014 by Australian photographer Richard Simpkin. Writing a letter is a personal experience in today's computerized world. So he introduced it to celebrate it.
- ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி கடிதம் எழுதும் தினமாக உலக அளவில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. உலக கடித தினம் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இந்த நாள் கையால் கடிதம் எழுதும் முறையை பாராட்டும் விதமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
- உலக கடித தினம் என்பது ஆஸ்திரேலியாவைச் சேர்ந்த புகைப்படக் கலைஞர் ரிச்சர்ட் சிம்ப்கின் என்பவரால் 2014ஆம் ஆண்டு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இன்றைய கணிப்பொறி உலகில் கடிதம் எழுதுவது என்பது ஒரு தனிப்பட்ட அனுபவமாகும். எனவே அதனை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக இத்தினத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்.

புலித்தேவர் - Puli Thevar - Freedom Fighter :
✒️Puli thevar, the pioneer who started the Indian freedom struggle in Tamil Nadu, was born on 1st September 1715. His original name was 'Kaathappa Puli thevar". The name 'Pooli thevar' was called 'Puli thevar". In the history of Indian independence, he was the first to raise the heroic slogan of 'Vellaiyane Veliyeru' (British get out) in 1751. Thus, he is regarded as the forerunner of the Sepoy Rebellion (1857), which is considered India's first liberation war. The Tamil Nadu government has constructed a Puli thevar memorial house and a wedding hall to honor the memory of Puli thevar in Nelkattumseval, Tirunelveli District, Sivagiri Vattam area.
- இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்தை தமிழகத்தில் தொடங்குவதற்கு காரணமாயிருந்த முன்னோடி புலித்தேவர் 1715ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி பிறந்தார். இவருடைய இயற்பெயர் 'காத்தப்ப பூலித்தேவர்" என்பதாகும். 'பூலித்தேவர்" என்னும் பெயர் 'புலித்தேவர்" என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டது.
- இந்திய விடுதலை வரலாற்றில் 'வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு" என்று முதல்முறையாக 1751ஆம் ஆண்டில் வீர முழக்கமிட்டவர். இதனால் இந்தியாவின் முதல் விடுதலைப்போர் எனக் கருதப்படும் சிப்பாய்க்கலகத்திற்கு (1857) முன்னோடியாகக் கருதப்படுகிறார்.
- தமிழ்நாடு அரசு, திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம் சிவகிரி வட்டம் பகுதியிலுள்ள நெல்கட்டும்செவல் எனும் ஊரில் புலித்தேவர் நினைவைப் போற்றும் வகையில் புலித்தேவர் நினைவு மாளிகை, திருமண மண்டபம் ஆகியவற்றை அமைத்துள்ளது.

🌟 The Coinage Act, 2011: It was enacted on 1st September 2011 & came into force on 28th March 2012, to consolidate the laws relating to coinage and the Mints, the protection of coinage and to provide for the prohibition of melting or destruction of coins and prohibit the making or the possession thereof for issue and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟The Religious Institutions (Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1988 : It was enacted on 1st September 1988 & came into force on 26th May 1988, to prevent the misuse of religious institutions for political and other purposes.
🌟The Brahmaputra Board Act, 1980 : It was enacted on 1st September 1980 & came into force on 31st December 1981, to provide for the establishment of a Board for the planning and integrated implementation of measures for the control of floods and bank erosion in the Brahmaputra Valley and for matters connected therewith.
🌟The Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 : It was enacted on 1st September 1992 & came into force on 31st July 1993, to provide for the constitution of the Rehabilitation Council of India for regulating and monitoring the training of rehabilitation professionals and personnel, promoting research in rehabilitation and special education, the maintenance of a Central Rehabilitation Register and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
🌟The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 : It was enacted on 1st September 1992 & came into force on 30th May 1994, to provide for the constitution and regulation of an armed force of the Union for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith.
🌟 1877ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி தமிழரசி குறவஞ்சி, கருணீக புராணம் போன்ற நூல்களின் ஆசிரியர் தமிழறிஞர் அ.வரதநஞ்சைய பிள்ளை பிறந்தார் - On September 1, 1877, Tamil scholar A.Varadha Nanjaya Pillai, the author of books like Tamizharasi Kuravanchi, Karunika Puranam, was born.
